Dr. Jerry Woolf has been my dentist since 1996. He and his staff are highly skilled professionals who consistently use the latest in dental technology to deliver premium care to patients. They also regularly attend classes to stay current on the most innovative techniques and newest products in the field of dentistry. In addition, Dr. Woolf and his team are very personable, kind and caring people who treat all patients (young and old) with a gentle touch. In fact, I developed a fear of dentists as a child, and only began to recover from this phobia when I started going to see Dr. Woolf. I began to relax and view dentists in a very positive light! I discovered Woolf Dental when I lived and worked in Bakersfield for a year. I initially chose Dr. Woolf when I learned that he had completed post-doctorate studies at UCLA, where he also served as one of the teaching staff for esthetic dentistry. I graduated from UCLA and was confident in this particular credential. But I was also pleased to learn Dr.Woolf had earned his D.D.S. from USC School of Dentistry. A high school friend of mine and his father also graduated from USC Dental School. It is one of the top in the nation. Although I moved from the area within a year of my first visit, I have continued to commute from Los Angeles, Huntington Beach, Anaheim, and parts beyond back to Bakersfield in order to remain a Woolf Dental patient. I receive compliments regarding my bright, white smile on a regular basis thanks to the knowledge, expertise, skills, patience, and artistry of Dr. Woolf. Prior to starting law school, I worked as a television news producer. My most recent job (for nearly ten years) consisted of interviewing well-known actors and actresses at a range of red carpet events — from film premieres to Hollywood awards shows, including the Academy Awards. And, even the celebrities — those among us who can arguably afford to spend the most on their appearance and usually do — would comment on the perfect appearance of my teeth. For all of these reasons and more, I will not entrust any other dentist with the care of my teeth other than Dr. Woolf and his team. I highly recommend Dr. Woolf, Dr. Regina Rivera, Dr. Brenda J. Buzby, and the entire staff (including Donna, Janine, Tina, Janie, Lydia, Evelyn, Diana and more) at Woolf Dental. Also, you will enjoy the very new office when you visit. It is in the newer River Walk complex on Stockdale Highway. The decor sports a classic yet modern look, and features clean lines with shades of slate, gray and rust. Make sure to also check out the beautiful black ventilation fan whirring high above the waiting area at the front entrance. It is an interesting and eye-catching feature that reminds me of an airplane propeller. Dr. Woolf may have chosen it because he is a pilot. Went here yesterday for my second time, first time was great! Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Second time I went I had a real procedure done because my previous dentist had injured cracked my tooth. Dr. Woolf and his rda were very nice and he did such a great job with putting a whole crown on my tooth no pain or discomfort. This will be my dentist for the rest of my life. Highly recommend him and his wonderful team!

I am so happy with the care I have received at Woolf Dental! From the moment I walk in I am welcomed by the staff by name. I’ve never had to wait for more than a few minutes before I am taken back to a comfortable room. The office is open and so you are not locked into a tiny cubicle. There are tvs for each station, with the ability to watch what you want. I’m always offered: a heated neckroll, a foot massage (for during treatment- who ever heard of such a thing?!), and I saw some patients with a warm blanket. I’ve had extensive work done: Tooth planing, cleanings, replacing fillings, crowns, a bridge, extraction, and implant. They’re always so careful, and considerate of my pain tolerance and I haven’t experienced any pain during any of these procedures. The reason for all the treatments I’ve received is because of prior experiences and so I was reluctant to visit the dentist. I have to say, I look forward to my visits with Dr. Woolf and his staff including Dr. Busby, Dr. Riviera, and the implant specialist Dr. Nagy. I’m so grateful I was referred to this practice. My husband has just started treatment here, also. We both are incredibly happy to be patients at this practice.

We love everything about Woolf Dental! They have the most amazing staff. They treat you like a friend, not just a patient. The Doctors are personable and calming and my whole family agrees we are in good hands for all of our dental needs. The location is great and the office is state-of-the-art.
