I have had a fear of dentists since childhood. I searched a long time to find the right dentist. When I found Dr William DeBonis I knew he was the ONE! He is a very competent dentist but also a kind and gentle professional. He listens to your concerns and takes his time to do a complete and thorough examination and treatment. His entire staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Dr Debonis at Worldwide Plaza Dental. I have been with him about 10 years now. I refer everyone to him when they need a dentist.

Dr. DeBonis is fantastic: kind, attentive, and professional. He bends over backwards to make sure his patients are satisfied. The staff is terrific. I am so fortunate to have picked him from the many recommendations I got. He’s also very well connected in the Dental Community, and had me at an oral surgeon within an hour of diagnosing a huge problem with my molar. Its pretty crazy to look forward to going to the dentist, but that’s what happens when my appointment approaches!

This was the best Dental practice I’ve ever been to. The staff was very cautious with Coronavirus protocols, and clear to outline their procedures. The technician was friendly, talkative, informative, and efficient. Dr. Debonis did an incredible job at informing me of tips, tricks, and techniques for ensuring good dental health. The doctor even walked me through each X-ray photo to explain what we were seeing and was keen to point out any areas of concern he had. I will be returning to Dr. Debonis for as long as I can, everyone in the office was exceptionally friendly and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new practice.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Debonis and the staff at Worldwide Plaza Dental. When I first moved to NY in the mid-90s I had a series of dentists… and had a miserable experience with each one. Then a work colleague recommended Dr. Debonis, and I havent looked back since. Dr. Debonis does excellent work. He is super personable and knows his stuff. After just a couple of minutes with him you get the sense that he really knows what he is doing. More importantly, he’s got me to better my dental habits with lecturing or hectoring. The staff at the office are all great to work with and very friendly and professional – quite a difference from the usual bureaucratic medical offices. I’ve recommended Dr. Debonis to everyone that’s asked – I wish more of the dentists were like the good doc!

Who loves going to the dentist? mostly no one, but I do. I’ve been seeing Dr. DeBonis and his ace team for over 20 years and I truly look forward to my visits. I’ve been twice in the days of Covid and it feels as safe as it can be with protocols in place like no overlap in waiting room, limited in-office staff, masking, air filters and more. Dr. DeBonis is gentle, good at giving shots, communicates well, and fun to talk to when his hands aren’t in your mouth. Most importantly his dental work has been excellent. The whole team is top notch.

I have been a patient of Dr. Debonis for 12 or 13 years now. Dr. Debonis is  very patient about explaining dental care and the procedures he is doing and extremely adept, I have never had a bad or painful experience in his chair. I have referred a number of my friends to him over the years and they all loved him and were really happy with the service they got and from what I can tell, his price structure is very reasonable. He and his staff are very cool too, which is an added bonus. I would definitely recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr. DeBonis and Worldwide Plaza Dental since 1999 and I could not be happier. I have lost track of all the people I have told about this practice, which includes someone who stayed away from dentists for over 10 years and now feels the very same way. Dr. DeBonis LOVES dentistry and it shows, the practice is professional and caring, up to date with techniques. Bottom line I know I am receiving the best care I possibly could be and doesn’t that say it all. I was very impressed with the detailed explanation Dr DeBonis provides of the issue you might be having and the solution – it’s like bringing you along the journey rather than just doing anything. He has a very patient and calming personality I thought and that’s helpful for someone who is extremely paranoid about visiting a dentist (me!!!).

Like Nathalie, I was in need of a new dentist after moving work locations in Manhattan. Dr. DeBonis handled my first cleaning himself in order to “get to know my teeth” and did a very thorough job. He is also very enthusiastic about teaching dentistry in the simplest terms. My appointment was efficient and answered all of the questions that I had. I had previously been using a dentist who gave me a very small filling for some decay that I never noticed, but after the filling my tooth hurt far worse that before the filling and after several follow up appointments, it still wasn’t fixed. When I went to Dr. DeBonis the and explained this, he noticed that there was a very slight high mark in the filling that was causing pain in my bite at certain points and was able to quickly and painlessly fix the high point, free of charge. I look forward to having a long standing relationship with such an honest Doctor. The staff is also incredibly nice.

Dr. DeBonis has been taking care of me since I first came in with a sore wisdom tooth. Since then he has removed my wisdom teeth and provided a couple of much needed fillings. His services are very reasonably priced and his touch with a novocaine needle is light and sure and I never feel any pain when he is working on me. Also, his assistant, Val, is wonderful, smart and great at calming me down (we all get pre-dental work jitters, right?). I recommend Dr. DeBonis to all my friends and to all of you!
