After seeing a handful of orthodontists and being told I wasn’t a candidate for Invisalign, I made one last inquiry at Dr. Y’s office. Being 30, wire braces were something I just couldn’t do. She was so sweet and took her time evaluating my teeth to see what could be done. Low and behold, with her amazing vision and talent, I was able to get my teeth beautifully straight with in a YEAR using, that’s right, Invisalign. Other orthodontists were telling me I had to be in wire braces for at least TWO years! Not only was Dr. Y so refreshing with her almost artistic take on orthodontics but her entire staff is sweet and patient. They make you feel so welcome in their office. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Y!

I highly recommend Dr. Yoshikane as an orthodontist. She is caring and  competent. Both of my sons have gotten their orthodontic care from this office, and I am very happy with the results. If you are in need of an orthodontist, look no further!

Dr. Yoshikane is such a sweet person and very understanding towards everyone’s situation. All of the employees develop personal relationships with their customers and help get you easily out of there. Everyone is so sweet in there and there is never a wait time. They are quick appointments and they are so patient with their customers. They make going to appointments so much fun because you get YO! Cards of which you can get prizes. This helps motivates customers to keep their teeth clean, which also makes it faster for you to be done with your treatment. Overall, this is the best orthodontist I’ve ever been to.

Our family has been Doctor Yoshikane patients for almost 25 years now. Her office and staff are top notch. My teeth look amazing after 18 months of Invisalign. We would highly recommend Dr.Yoshikane if you are looking for the perfect smile 🙂

Simply the best!! There is no other way to describe this thriving office…from the friendly, professional staff to the wonderfully warm and gifted Dr. Yoskikane, herself, this group is first class! Three out of the four family members in our house are patients here and I couldn’t offer a higher recommendation–or be more happy with our beautiful smiles! Another terrific thing is that Dr. Yosh’s office is connected with Dr. Matt Davis’s pediatric dentist office (the other best dental office around!)…making for seamless communication and scheduling. Popping across the office to refer to a chart is easy and saves tons of time…something all busy moms appreciate! Since I was in high school, I have always received regular compliments about my beautiful teeth. Not my smile (though fortunately, I get that, too). My teeth. People are very specific. I always smile and know that the person who deserves the credit is Dr. Terrie Yoshikane. Dr. Y became my orthodontist when I was a little girl (seriously, I may have been six or seven). I am now 32. I started seeing her when I was young because every dentist I had ever seen had told my parents I would need regular, extensive, and serious orthodontic work. Overbite, crooked teeth, a jaw likely to be misshapen…apparently without orthodontics, I would have been a real fright. Oh, and I have an unusually small mouth. Dr. Y took me through three sets of braces, more retainers than I can remember, a bionator, headgear…it’s a long list. And I was a good, compliant patient. I just had a really bad mouth. I didn’t know it at the time, but Dr. Y was following a plan she’d made when I was small, adjusting over time and making sure everything came out well. I’m convinced to this day that many other orthodontists wouldn’t have made my teeth come out as well. This is true not only because of skill, but also because of the close, near constant attention she and her staff paid to every little detail. You truly get the best with Dr. Y and her staff.

It’s been a while since we visited Dr. Yoshikane (my daughter is now 19), but we were so pleased with the care Dr. Y and her amazing staffed provided when my daughter had braces. The office was always full of caring and fun individuals. Terrie reduces the “burden” of wearing braces with contests, prize packages, etc. Other Orthodontists may charge less, but I say you get what you pay for. My daughter’s teeth are BEAUTIFUL!

Everything they do centers around making both your teeth and face look better because of their treatment. Traditional orthodontics often required the removal of up to eight teeth to correct a crowded mouth. Using our new technologies, the extraction of teeth occurs far less than it used to. As a result, their patients enjoy a beautiful full smile along with an attractive facial profile. However, they do still extract teeth when either the face of the patient, or the excessive protrusion or flare of their front teeth will benefit from such care. Although, this decision is made only after extensively reviewing the patient’s diagnostic records as well as all non-extraction treatment choices. They really want their patients to be happy with their final result now…as well as many years into the future. Plus, The staff there are so friendly and welcoming. They go out of there way to help you at any level. Weither is be a rescedual appointment or a discussion on your dental plan. I really enjoyed going to get my teeth check, it was a great experience to have braces at Dr. Yoshikane’s stablishment.

Dr. Terrie Yoshikane and Team have provided the best Orthodontics I have ever encountered here in San Diego. She has provided for me, my family, my dental patients and incredible experience and of course a great smile. She is TOPS in her field and continues to deliver excellence.
