My daughter had a very complicated situation and we had several consultations with orthodontists. Dr Well came out above and beyond the other options because of his patience, knowledge and giving the impression that his patients come first. That impression is now fact and still holds true a year later, we always feel that Dr Well is available. He explains each situation thoroughly and covers all scenarios both for the treatment and financial aspects with respect. He makes his patients feel good about him/herself by always giving positive feedback. We feel very comfortable and confident in the hands of Dr. Well and his fabulous team! And a bonus for convenient location, days and hours.

I was looking into braces a few years ago and went to a place that was recommended to me which seemed like a conveyor belt of people coming in and out of the chairs. When I sat down to meet with the orthodontist and go over what I wanted he basically just pushed his own product and really wasn’t listening to what I wanted. That same day I can across Dr Hillel Well. I definitely made the best decision going to him for my braces. He took his time explaining to me all my options and he is up on all the latest techniques. My teeth came out looking better than what I could have ever imagined. If you’re looking for a well trained and caring orthodontist, I’m telling you, he is the guy!!!Noa.

Dr. Well (great name by the way) was great with both my kids. He was patient through their initial complaining and made jokes until they were laughing and comfortable with him. They have headphones in the office so that kids can listen to music while getting their braces bonded very thoughtful since a lot of people have a playlist on their phone but forget to bring headphones.

When I was a kid I had one of my teeth extracted, and after that I developed pretty big gaps between my front teeth. It bothered me a little, and I was very conscious about smiling in public, so I finally decided to give the Invisalign a try. The orthodontic office of Dr Well came highly recommended to me by my co-worker. He has excellent credentials, multiple awards, experience and most of all very gentle hands. He made me feel at ease – something that I’ve never experienced before in the dentist chair. Procedure was not as unpleasant as I would imagine, and after more than a year the gap between my teeth was gone I could finally smile naturally. The total price was on par with other orthodontists in Los Angeles, but a peace of mind being treated by a professional highly trained and educated in recent years is priceless. The only thing that I would complain about, is the feeling of foreign substance in my mouth, but now after getting used to it, now it feels as I missing something. Thanks a bunch Dr Well!

There’s gratitude, and then there is what I’m feeling right now as I type this with perfect teeth, a perfect, post-TMJ-surgery jaw, and some deeply valued friendships. This is next level. Dr. Well was recommended to me by my magnificent oral surgeon, Dr. Parvaz Mizrahi, who, by some cosmic alignment, works out of the same location. I required braces in preparation for TMJ surgery, and I was not thrilled about the shut-down of certain elements of my life and work that braces would require. However! The moment I met the extraordinary Dr. Well, I knew that my TMJ dream team was complete. It was instantly apparent that he sincerely cared about bringing my teeth, bite, and entire face into a state of perfection perhaps even more than I did (I just wanted to get my jaw broken and put back together and be done with it, alignment be damned, I’ll eat through a straw, thank you very much), and he knew how to do it in exquisite detail. My only job was to trust (easy) and let go (not easy, but nailed it). But how do you really know when your orthodontist is a supernatural being? When the challenges come, of course! It turned out that the brackets would not stay bonded to the enamels that were slapped on my upper teeth about 50 million years ago, and Dr. Well and I struggled together through a few months of re-gluing, trying new bonding agents, sanding the enamels with new tools, all things which I know incurred expense but which I was never asked to pay for. When I would have thought it appropriate for Dr. Well to give up on my case, he did the opposite. He brought in a team to install a newly invented device on the inside of my upper teeth, as brackets on the outside had proven impossible. Surely there was an additional cost for more work being done by more people using more materials, right? Nope. Dr. Well was insistent that our initial consultation rate be honored, no matter what it took to get to the end result. Well, we got there! The TMJ surgery was performed a little over 3 months ago, and Dr. Well’s artistry (for he is an artist, no doubt) is gloriously apparent in a brand new, perfectly aligned bite that will absolutely change the way I live and enjoy the rest of my life. And best of all? Friendship, great conversations, book recommendations, and an office helmed by the sweetest ladies imaginable (love you, Shabi!!). I may or may not have been provided a sugar-free lollipop in exchange for my Yelp review. That is irrelevant.

I went to Dr. Well for an orthodontic consultation. He is very kind and considerate. He did a very thorough examination of my teeth and explained the condition and the things that might need to be done after the treatment to get the perfect result (which no other orthodontics mentioned that problem when I went for consultation). He offered me a very reasonable price for the treatment and allowed me enough time to make decision. The office staff is also very good in responding calls or emails to address my questions. It was a very pleasant experience throughout. Highly recommend Dr. Well!!

I do not have the words to convey my appreciation for finding such an excellent Orthodontist. Never have my children been under such loving and expertise care. Dr. Well is obviously HIGHLY trained and skilled. He took molds of my daughter’s mouth, scans to make sure her roots have not shortened, and has the BEST bedside manner out of ANY doctor I have met. My daughter actually jokes that she loves going to Dr. Well’s office and my son begs for braces even though Dr. Well said his teeth are perfect and he does not need them! This office is the best orthodontist. The hours are great and I believe one day out of the month they open SUNDAYS. If you have a busy schedule this office is really flexible. My experience is great the front receptionist she is a darling she was welling to help me with my new born daughter and all my other visits. While I was getting check she helped me take care of my daughter without no problem. The best outcome was when I saw my final results of getting my braces off and the results was spectacular. Dr. Well is great! I had braces taken off about 13 years ago and I just lost my retainer last month. My former orthodontist is out of state so I needed to find someone in LA to make a replacement retainer. I looked around and found Dr. Well’s office could do this for literally less than half the price of everywhere else I called. However it is definitely not “discount” quality! The offices (Brentwood and Beverly Hills) are both lovely, the receptionist is friendly and helpful, and Dr. Well is knowledgeable, professional and listens to what you need. The final retainer turned out well too. Definitely recommend them!

Dr well is incredible gentle and compassionate. He cares about my son as a person and a patient. We are very happy we decided to have dr well straighten our sons teeth. You can see the before and after photos. He always makes himself available if we have questions or something comes up. My son had an expander for several months and braces for only two. as you can see the change is dramatic and it didn’t take long. He now has a bonded retainer holding his teeth in place. Three of my children received orthodontic treatment from Dr. Well. Throughout the process he was professional, gentle and always accommodating. Dr. Well is also a perfectionist! He made sure that my children’s teeth were aligned to the correct millimetre! He helped my daughter through her jaw surgery, showing extreme care and compassion. Besides the truly outstanding work he does, Dr. Well is always very pleasant with an easy smile and a gentle disposition. The person who works the front desk and appointments is also very sweet and does her best to help find you convenient appointment times. Another major plus with Dr. Well is that he recommends wearing your retainers ONLY AT NIGHT! My children are all delighted (as am I – not having to worry about lost and broken retainers at school is a big relief). I truly cannot recommend Dr. Well more highly.
