Long story short, Dr. Shi saved me $2K. I had a yellow spot on my front tooth that’s bothered me for the past 6 years. I’ve been to over 3 dentists who all said that the spot was natural and couldn’t remove it. This year, I finally made an appointment with a cosmetic dentist to cover up the spot- quote was $2K. Enter Dr. Shi. I went in for a regular tooth cleaning and felt him scraping at the spot. I almost told him to stop, since no one else could remove it and I already made an appointment to cover it up. Given that I had 3 different instruments in my mouth, I stayed quiet lol. Looked in the mirror after my appointment, and the spot was gone. Would give 10 stars if I could- thanks Dr. Shi I pinky promise to never skip a tooth cleaning again.

Dr. Shi taking care my teeth problems pretty well. In past 5 years he has been very diligently working and solving my teeth problems. From young my teeth always have problems now I have more than 10 teeth with crowns. I was brought here 5 years ago when I first came to valley and know nobody, and I just listened to a radio ad. I’m so lucky that I came to the right place and I’m conformable of surrender my teeth to his care. Here is my testimony Pros: – Very friendly and care for you – Very reasonable cost – He hands on. Not like other specialist who just deal with you 5 minutes after prepared by nurses 30+min – flexible. For emergency need he always have time. Billing is also flexible. Cons: – He is not the top notch tier. So don’t expect him to be the best on our wanted area. To me this is not a con. Because I know top notch will not be approachable for average people like me. – Hard to make an appointment because of too busy. I will update more when I can.

Dr Shi has been my family’s regular dentist for 3 years. He is very professional and skilled. The clinic is well-maintained and clean. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The other day my wife noticed pain around one of her teeth. We called Dr’s office. Even though they didn’t have any available appointment within days, Dr saw my wife the next day before his first appointment and addressed her concern.

Dr. Shi is amazing. He’s kind and caring to his patients. He is incredibly well trained (UCSF dental school, Stanford craniofacial research) yet humble and patient. He is so generous that I’ve found myself arguing that I should be paying more that what he charged me. True story…have you ever heard that about a dentist before? His work is very very good. He has saved me from more expensive root canals/crowns when a filling would suffice, and his work has held up nicely over the years. If you are lucky enough to get an appointment with Dr. Shi, you won’t be disappointed.

-I eager to give Dr. Shi a 5-star praise, I want to thank him during this lockdown period he still takes good care of me. -2 days ago, my toothache became painful, the swollen even goes to the eye, I called Dr Shi and get Amoxicillin to reduce inflammation. Monday morning, I am the only patient, they both putting on Medical Isolation Coveralls Protecting Clothing to proceed my Root Canal Treatment. After that he drain the inflamed area without anesthetics to avoid bacterial infection, to speed up the recovery. -4 days later the swollen greatly reduced and feel no dizzy. I am very appreciated Dr Shi. He told me to take 3 more days of antibiotics beyond the cycle to guarantee full recovery. -Dr Shi is a very nice dentist, I called him and request phone consultation for my daughter’s tooth cavities issue. We were very happy to have him always friendly reachable.

Dr. Shi is an amazing dentist. He was trained at UCSF and worked in craniofacial surgery research at Stanford; he really knows a LOT more about medicine and dentistry than the average dentist. Besides being highly knowledgeable, you can feel and see the high level of skill and craftsmanship in his work. Moreover, Dr. Shi is kind and fair and trustworthy. When i was a student without dental insurance, he worked with me to help me get the implant that i needed at the price i could afford. And it turned out great! It looks and feels completely natural. Dr. Shi is also very friendly and easy going, and takes an interest in the lives of his patients. He has taken great care of my family, and is a family man himself. I actually look forward to my dental visits with him! Which is kind of crazy, right? I’ve had a handful of dentists over the years in the SF bay area, and I have yet to meet the equal of Dr. Shi.
