I work as a part-time dental assistant while attending school, and have been a patient at Zarni Dental for the last several years now (I work for a PPO premium provider dentist, but my insurance is through my parent’s dental plan).  Recently, I experienced the need to have a crown on tooth #9, a maxillary central incisor (one of the upper, front middle teeth).  My parents were surprised to find out that their dental insurance coverage did not cover the cost, so they asked me to get a 2nd opinion as to the cost of getting a zirconia crown;  we were surprised to find out that the other dental office wanted 60% more for the same thing. Needless to say, we had Dr. Nguyen do the crown; it came out great and the color perfectly matches my other teeth, improving the appearance of my smile – I’m so pleased with it.  I have found that Zarni Dental is also better organized, clean, and efficient compared with most other dental offices.  I would be very comfortable being a patient of Dr. Nguyen for life – 5 stars for her and her staff.

From the moment I walked in I new I’d have a great experience. The receptionist was warm and welcoming. Dr Nguyen was very professional and addressed all my concerns. The process went smoothly. I went in for consultation and cleaning. I have a 2 cavities and plan on getting them fixed next week. I’ll leave a review then as well. Thanks,

Just got back from my first visit to Zarni dental and I couldn’t have been more impressed. I hadn’t been to a dentist in about ten years and was dreading my visit. I have very sensitive teeth and the thought of a deep cleaning, or worse, scared the heck out of me. Well, Dr. Nguyen and her assistant/office manager were amazing. At no point did they make me feel guilty for not seeing a dentist in so long, and they were both so gentle and empathetic I was instantly at ease. I mentioned to them that I found Zarni Dental on Yelp and they were worried about a past review someone had given them without even providing a name so they had a chance to make it right. I too have to deal with people hiding behind yelp rather than giving direct feedback at my job, so I was compelled to write a review about my great experience. If you have fears of the dentist, Zarni Dental is a great place to go. It was as painless as a dental visit can be, and the staff is cheery and kind. They have both been with the practice since it’s inception and take great pride in their work and their relationships with their patients. 5 stars for sure.

The Doctor is very nice, patient and caring. She consistently checked in if I was in any type of pain during a routine cleaning appt and her assistant was very nice and checked in how I felt for any discomfort during x-rays. The Doctor also did not combine 2-3 services into one appt without asking me first, in my case, she wanted time for my gums to heal before moving onto a deep cleaning service appt. You can see this Doctor is not after making money as top priority, she truly wants her patients to be as healthy as possible and practice preventive care ongoing. Hence, she’s passionate about her job. Also, her staff/assistant does not waste your time and they are very prompt to call you in at your scheduled appt time

Again while I am a person with EXTREME dental phobia Dr.Nguyen gets me! She understand that my heart is racing and my hands are sweaty. She also understands how much I truly hate the numbing effect. I hate being numb! After the injections I need to rinse the mouth and have her wait for and shes okay with She has awesome bedside manners and loves to talk to you to make you at ease! She also knows that she needs to schedule me a little longer because I’m just so scared and she assures me over and over everything will be fine, turns out everything is always fine after I leave! Except I’m still numb which again I hate! So I’m still unsure why so many negative reviews of Dr.Nguyen’s office. I have been a patient of hers for a few years now and not ONCE has she ever tried to over sell me Something I don’t need. And she’s never nicked a tooth either. She goes over your mouth to it’s entirely and discusses problematic issues you may have or that may become a nuisance. She doesn’t FORCE you to do work that you don’t want/need it’s an option for you to decide on your own. She will give you her professional opinion, but it’s up to you to take it or not. I have prepaid for cleanings and my dental work that needs to be done and I have yet received treatment because of my busy and hectic schedule! Which is at no Fault of her office. They do call and remind me to go in, but I haven’t had the chance. It’s hard to really believe the other reviews on here, because I just don’t see it! I don’t see Dr.Nguyen doing these so-called things! Her and Rosie are awesome! And they have my family as a patients for life! And my referrals. I can’t say anything about how the insurance is billed because I am a cash patient, so I either pay at the time of visit or before hand. I’d rather have my children go thru dental visits with confidents and enjoy coming back. Not like the TORTURE I received as a teen which has unfortunately given me horrendous dental phobia. And NO IM NOT A PAID reviewer, I speak the truth! Dr.Nguyen if you read this I will hopefully be calling to schedule visits for my family’s cleaning when I have a free day!

It has been 10 years since my last dentist visit. All my life, I have always been afraid of them poking and prodding in my mouth. (And there have been many times where the dentist hasn’t numbed me enough, so I can feel the pain while they are doing their work.) Dr. Nguyen and her assistant Rosie (hopefully I got her name right) have been a pleasure to deal with since day 1. They are both friendly, personable and informative during the visits I’ve had with them, and I actually never had that EXTREMELY anxious, nervous feeling I’ve had with other dentists. They also make sure that they have enough time with each patient so that they don’t have to rush to make it in time for their next appointment. I would definitely recommend coming to Zarni Dental. I look forward to future visits with them.

I’m so pleased with their service and professionalism, I had a wisdom tooth extracted on the 1st of March and have never been so pleased with the results, no pain no discomfort at all. I’ve been seeing the dentist for the last 3 years and I’ve never experienced any discomfort with any procedure. The staff is wonderful and very comforting, all procedures are well explained very well and any at home preventative procedures are also explained I give them a 10 Plus. Thank you so much.

I don’t really enjoy dental appointments. But hey.. teeth need proper care too, right? Finding a good dentist is both a personal journey and and adventure of sorts. There are good professional dental practices and there are price gouging extremists, and everything in between. And different people have different needs/wants in a dentist. I cam to Zarni Dental a few years ago because I had a filling that had cracked and needed to have it fixed. So, while it took me a few days of combing through online reviews to sort down to a short list, I finally picked Zarni Dental to try. I did not have a regular dentist and needed to establish one in this area anyway, so a tooth repair is a good starting point. I have only positive things to share with you regarding Dr Nguyen and her dental practice. A few specific comments to share in this context: 1) The broken filling: I knew going in that it would likely require a crown to fix since it was a large filling and part of the enamel adjoining the filling cracked. And that was exactly the professional recommendation by Dr Nguyen. And so we scheduled the procedure for later in the week. And I have to say… best crown procedure ever for me. No issues, no complications, everything done exactly as I would expect. Modern procedures and practices all the way too. 2) Trust and Professionalism: My concern with dental practices has always been how they approach treatment and do they try to over-treat. As a patient for more then two years now, my personal experience with Dr Nguyen is that does not “inflate her services for income”. She is ethical and honest in her treatment appraisals. She is also very honest about what she will and won’t do, which I appreciate. She has in fact referred my wife to other dental specialists for some services, and I respect this level of ethics. As a patient that is very aware of the state of my teeth, I can happily report that the only other treatment procedure I have had beyond the initial broken filling repair has been the replacement of a filling behind one of my front teeth that was old and eroding. I knew this about the filling already, so when the Dr recommended it be replaced to preclude a larger procedure later on, I agreed with here assessment. 3) It’s a Small, but growing practice, with a very personal feel to it: Personally, I like this aspect about the practice. I like the personal care and attention to me as a patient when I visit the office. Dr Nguyen is focused on building up a solid practice, and doing so in an ethical and patient focused manner. I like that. It’s nice to be treated as a person rather then yet another folder in the patient files. the only downside to this is that if you have an immediate dental emergency, they may or may not be available for short notice services (because this is not a office full of dentists in group practice. 4) Rosie runs the front office and also is assistant to the Dr for treatments. And while I have had a couple of small issues regarding billing and coverage with my dental plan, these were always resolved quickly and with integrity. The core challenge for Rosie here is that Delta Dental has so many different plans and plan variables, and being a small pracitce… there is no full time billing administrator. Rosie handles a lot of different things here, so I totally understand small issues with dental plan coverage and payments. I even received a call from Rosie after a treatment to let me know that the plan paid more then was expected and she proactively offered me a refund of the difference without me even being aware yet of the final plan benefit payouts. I like that. My suggestion to prospective patients is try this dentist. If you are objective dental patient, I think you will find this to be the right sort of dental treatment practice for you.

Here again! This is by far the best, absolute best dental office I’ve ever been to. Dr. Nguyen, and Ms. Rosie are phenomenal . I’m in and out in no time, and these women make me feel as though, with each visit I’m a friend, rather than a visit to Dr. Hack and Attack, The Cavity Killer. I’ve had about 8 or so cavities taken care of at this spot (I went through undergraduate school without dental insurance) and I’m still alive and kicking! Furthermore the women have referred me to several other establishments, with great success. The lovely ladies here have referred me to both an orthodontist, and an oral surgeon, and I’ve been very satisfied with the experience from each.

I was fortunate to find Zarni DEntal, after being disappointed with two dentists earlier. Its a small office ,just Dr.Huang and her assistant Rosey. Both are polite ,dedicated and friendly and understanding. Before starting my root canal Dr. did explain the procedure in detail and this made me comfortable and also confident. They follow exceptional hygiene and cleanliness while working. Doctor always spent lot of time to make sure that everything she did was perfect. She is very knowledgeable and caring and indeed very ethical. I would certainly recommend her to anybody and Now I do have a dentist for all my dental problems. Manjula
