I don’t really enjoy dental appointments. But hey.. teeth need proper care too, right? Finding a good dentist is both a personal journey and and adventure of sorts. There are good professional dental practices and there are price gouging extremists, and everything in between. And different people have different needs/wants in a dentist. I cam to Zarni Dental a few years ago because I had a filling that had cracked and needed to have it fixed. So, while it took me a few days of combing through online reviews to sort down to a short list, I finally picked Zarni Dental to try. I did not have a regular dentist and needed to establish one in this area anyway, so a tooth repair is a good starting point. I have only positive things to share with you regarding Dr Nguyen and her dental practice. A few specific comments to share in this context: 1) The broken filling: I knew going in that it would likely require a crown to fix since it was a large filling and part of the enamel adjoining the filling cracked. And that was exactly the professional recommendation by Dr Nguyen. And so we scheduled the procedure for later in the week. And I have to say… best crown procedure ever for me. No issues, no complications, everything done exactly as I would expect. Modern procedures and practices all the way too. 2) Trust and Professionalism: My concern with dental practices has always been how they approach treatment and do they try to over-treat. As a patient for more then two years now, my personal experience with Dr Nguyen is that does not “inflate her services for income”. She is ethical and honest in her treatment appraisals. She is also very honest about what she will and won’t do, which I appreciate. She has in fact referred my wife to other dental specialists for some services, and I respect this level of ethics. As a patient that is very aware of the state of my teeth, I can happily report that the only other treatment procedure I have had beyond the initial broken filling repair has been the replacement of a filling behind one of my front teeth that was old and eroding. I knew this about the filling already, so when the Dr recommended it be replaced to preclude a larger procedure later on, I agreed with here assessment. 3) It’s a Small, but growing practice, with a very personal feel to it: Personally, I like this aspect about the practice. I like the personal care and attention to me as a patient when I visit the office. Dr Nguyen is focused on building up a solid practice, and doing so in an ethical and patient focused manner. I like that. It’s nice to be treated as a person rather then yet another folder in the patient files. the only downside to this is that if you have an immediate dental emergency, they may or may not be available for short notice services (because this is not a office full of dentists in group practice. 4) Rosie runs the front office and also is assistant to the Dr for treatments. And while I have had a couple of small issues regarding billing and coverage with my dental plan, these were always resolved quickly and with integrity. The core challenge for Rosie here is that Delta Dental has so many different plans and plan variables, and being a small pracitce… there is no full time billing administrator. Rosie handles a lot of different things here, so I totally understand small issues with dental plan coverage and payments. I even received a call from Rosie after a treatment to let me know that the plan paid more then was expected and she proactively offered me a refund of the difference without me even being aware yet of the final plan benefit payouts. I like that. My suggestion to prospective patients is try this dentist. If you are objective dental patient, I think you will find this to be the right sort of dental treatment practice for you.

Here again! This is by far the best, absolute best dental office I’ve ever been to. Dr. Nguyen, and Ms. Rosie are phenomenal . I’m in and out in no time, and these women make me feel as though, with each visit I’m a friend, rather than a visit to Dr. Hack and Attack, The Cavity Killer. I’ve had about 8 or so cavities taken care of at this spot (I went through undergraduate school without dental insurance) and I’m still alive and kicking! Furthermore the women have referred me to several other establishments, with great success. The lovely ladies here have referred me to both an orthodontist, and an oral surgeon, and I’ve been very satisfied with the experience from each.
