Zephyr Dental is great!  I originally started with Zephyr last year because of their location, close to  my home, but I immediately was impressed by their care, upbeat attitude and dedication to making my experience safe, pain-free and  pleasant! I returned this week for a 6-month check up and again had a great experience.  From the initial greeting to checkout and everything in between, the team is all smiles.  It is apparent they are focused on patient care and enjoy delivering a great service!

I decided to give Zephyr a try after a 5-year period of not visiting the dentist, and I’m so glad I did! They don’t scrape your teeth or stab your gums like my previous dentists did, don’t shame you about your dental history, and they even have TVs on the ceiling so you can focus on something besides the cleaning. Now I have a dentist’s office that I don’t hate (and actually might LIKE).

Omg, what a great experience. So easy to book for my emergency broken tooth. The dentist was also SO quick in fixing my tooth and the staff were SO quick in calculating my cost / checking my coverage. SO satisfied with this visit. Best visit I’ve had in my life. I will continue to come here for the future to come!!

My experience from start to finish was terrific. Sometimes going in even for a routine cleaning can be intimidating at times (especially when you are a new patient), but Dr. Chang and his staff are so kind and professional and will put you at ease with the utmost care from the very moment you walk in until the end of your appointment. If you have been in the market for a new dentist but overwhelmed by all the choices around you, skip the hopping around and go straight to Zephyr Dental – you will not be disappointed.

I recently had a check up and my teeth cleaned at Zephyr Dental and would highly recommend this office to anyone seeking a new dentist. The entire staff was beyond friendly and professional. The office is clean and orderly, the exam room was comfortable. Dr. Chang and his hygienist were both amazing! Beyond friendly, sincere, informative, and thorough. I really don’t believe I have had a better cleaning ever as an adult. I will be going back in a few weeks to get some work done on a tooth, and I already scheduled another cleaning for 6 months out! I can honestly say, I can’t wait!

I’ve been going to Zephyr Dental for a little less than a year and have been extremely pleased with their service. The staff is incredibly friendly and the facility is excellent. I’ve gotten to watch the Great British Bake Off and Jurassic Park on my last two visits which takes some of the “fear factor” away from visiting the dentist. Dr Chang is very caring and an exceptional communicator. He always spends ample time with his patients, making sure they have the information they need and transparently sharing what he’s observed through the examination. After a few mixed experiences at other dental offices in Chicago, I’m very pleased to have found Zephyr Dental!

Found this place on Yelp, it has great reviews and today I went there, it is absolutely the most professional and clean dental place I’ve even been. The staffs here are super nice and patient, Dr. Yong Chang is quite professional and nice! They have very advanced and clean equipments each rooms has TVs, the decorations are very pleasant and thoughtful. I absolutely highly recommend this place!

I had a great experience here. The staff is super friendly and everyone is very welcoming. The office is clean, they offer you a drink every time, and even have cute games for the kids. Everyone is great at communicating, explaining the process from start to finish. Dentist is very gentle and makes sure you’re comfortable the entire time. They went above and beyond, making my experience the best one I have had in many years.

Probably the best kindest dentist I met in last couple years, he is patient caring efficient.I went there was emergency, can’t believe they accept me same day. When I was busy for interview also the most stress time in my life, they always reschedule for me. I felt so touched, hopefully more people will discover here. All the staffs here are friendly!

Dr. Chang and the staff have been AMAZING!!! I haven’t been to a dentist for about 6 ish years (only because I had multiple bad experiences at two other dentist offices). When I went here, they were super prepared. They made sure for me to do a screening to ensure that I wasn’t feeling any symptoms of COVID and felt good to go into the office. I appreciate this a lot because their office is trying to protect their employees and makes me feel comfortable to go into an office where I know they’re following the COVID protocol. They also had a consultation where Dr. Chang was awesome at explaining everything in detail of what I needed to do for my cleanings, and I even had a projection for my costs. During my two deep cleanings, Dr.Chang would check up on me to make sure I wasn’t feeling any discomfort during the cleaning. Post cleanings, he would also check up on me to make sure that I was feeling okay after the procedure. He would also provide a reminder on how to use any solutions he provided. I’m really excited to see them again in the new year! Never had an amazing experience until now.

The receptionist was super nice and told me exactly the amount The session would be. This was my first deep cleaning with Dr. Chang. He walked through the process with me and told me exactly what he was doing next. He would pause in between the cleaning to make sure that I was doing okay. I felt comfortable enough to let him know if it was starting to hurt. Once we were done, he gave me all the rinse/toothpaste I needed to keep my teeth/gum clean. His staff and him go beyond to make my visit a great one. Highly recommend people to go to him!

I’m just here for the raffle. Just kidding. But seriously I need one. Anyways I went to the dental clinic with my son and he was amazing with the little guy. Patient and informative was Dr Chang. The inside was clean and well thought out. The doc loves sports but I question his fantasy sports skills. Will definitely come back again. Next week actually. Would recommend to anyone needing a dentist.

This has been my 2nd time at zephyr, and I couldn’t recommend them more. Everything about it from booking an appointment, a seamless and pain-free experience, and the welcoming environment has been top tier of my dentist experiences. Both Dr. Chang and the hygienist were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I am happy to have found my dentist in Chicago!

Had my first appointment today with Dr. Chang and everything was great! Office is super clean and modern, everyone is attentive, and inviting. Dr. Chang is really easy to talk to, and detailed, walks you through everything. Glad I found this place!

Zephyr Dental has changed my life!! At 24 years old I made my first ever, in my entire life, trip to the dentist and to say that I was nervous is a vast understatement. But Dr. Chang sand his team made me feel so at home in their space. The office is pristinely clean and extremely well decorated. Dr. Chang and his assistant did an amazing job of telling me what they were doing and why. I really felt like Dr. Chang spoke to me with human compassion and not just as another client. We laid out a solid treatment plan and he was sure to be entirely transparent with me about each step. I’m actually looking forward to going back instead of being terrified like I was before. I want to thank the whole team at Zephyr Dental for taking such amazing care of me.

So much to love about my new dentist’s office. First, the office itself is very clean and modern, and during COVID times you can see the steps they’ve taken to be safe. I felt very secure and the check-in process went smoothly. I loved the actual exam room with the TV’s on the wall and ceiling. I was totally zoning out to Great British Baking Show, haha! That was a fun surprise and definitely took the edge off my nervousness. The technology they are using is super modern- they scanned my teeth and then the Dr. pointed out things on the scan and also what he was looking for as he did the exam. As for the cleaning, the Doc did most of it himself and honestly I’ve never left the dentist without feeling like that reverberating soreness (you know the feeling) until today. It was very gentle and he talked through what he was doing at each step. I also really liked that the Dr. Chang was nice to his staff (I’ve seen some crazy stuff at other offices) and they were all nice, too. We are thrilled to have a new dentist and really loved this experience. Which is kind of a weird thing to say about a dentist appointment, but hey.

So glad I found this dental office. Dr. Chang was great with explaining everything from my teeth to the treatment plan and how much it would cost me. I was super nervous about the cleaning seeing as I haven’t got one in 2 years but it was painless, and surprisingly comfortable. Especially with the TV’s there for distraction (Clever).The office is clean and modern and great for kids of all ages. My 7 yr old is excited about going back, that says a lot lol. The entire staff was exceptional. Glad I was able to find a dentist for my family going forward. Highly recommend this office. I’ll send everyone I know here.

My son and I had our first appointments here today. Dr. Chang and his staff were wonderful. We had our annual comprehensive exams and cleaning. Office is so modern and clean. Kids friendly- toys and play area. One of the girls even watched my son while I was getting work done. We were very happy! And, scheduled a tooth filling for my son and our next cleaning. 🙂

Recently had my 1st visit with Dr. Chang for a cleaning/check up and highly recommend him as a dentist. Dr. Chang is very attentive and thoroughly explained what he was doing throughout the visit. He not only explained why he thought one of my teeth needed work done on it but showed me pictures of it on the TV so I could see for myself. They also gave me a quote before asking if I wanted to schedule the appointment so I was able to factor that into my decision. I really like the low pressure sales method as opposed to what you find at most other businesses now a days. The office was very clean and modern with a lot of sports/Chicago themed decorations. And the staff is friendly, polite and helpful. If you are looking for a dentist, then be sure to give Dr. Chang a try.

The team at Zephyr Dental are fantastic. I was a first time patient with a regular check up + teeth cleaning and I highly recommend their practice. I’m going back in a couple of weeks to fix a filling because of their stellar service (and it’s covered by my insurance). You can/will send them insurance info days in advance so that you know if your procedure(s) is covered and how much it will cost out of pocket. I shared my info with them through ZocDoc which made it easy. They’ll also text you an appointment reminder. When you check in as a first time patient, you’ll need to fill out a few forms on an iPad which will take you about 10-15 minutes so show up earlier than your appointment time to take care of that (especially if you’re in a time crunch). The facility is in a strip mall with a dedicated parking lot so don’t worry about paid or zoned parking. I saw Dr. Chang on my visit and he was exactly what you would hope for in a dentist: friendly, professional, and a clear communicator. Look up Dr. Yong Jung Chang and book an appointment with him.

Dr. Chang and his team was a blessing to find. It’s hard to find dentists that carefully explain the issue you’re experiencing and all of the different options you can take. Additionally, He and his team always made sure that I was comfortable while I was getting my fillings done. The Zephyr team truly values customer service and I know I can trust them with my dental care.

Dr. Chang and his staff are wonderful. The technology is something I’m not used to. I’ve seen some newer dental tools, but this was really nice. Dr. Chang was able to end 2 years of dental pain and I am forever grateful. Loved the swag bag too!

I stumbled on this office searching for a new in-network dentist in my area. What a great first impression I have from my first visit! Everyone working inside is exceedingly friendly. The place is decorated nicely and has a lot of personality. Dr. Chang is very personable. In particular, I appreciated how clearly he explained things to me. Also, he’s not too pushy the way some dentists can be about certain procedures. I definitely recommend this office for your dental needs.

I was hesitant about going to a new dentist during COVID, but due to a move, I was looking for a dentist in my area. I was super impressed by Zephyr Dental. Dr. Chang and his team took great care of me today – giving me full context as to what they were doing and why. I’ve never had a dentist sit down with me before treatment to get to know a little about me and provide an overview of my treatment plan based upon our conversation. To top it off, the office was accessible, clean, and they were playing the Great British Bake Off on the ceiling while I had my teeth cleaned. Great experience – so good in fact, that I’m posting it the day I went in for my visit! Highly recommend!
