When my dentist told me that I needed a crown, I decided to get a second opinion.  My sister,who lives in Manhattan, referred me to her dentist Dr. Michael Lorman because he honored almost all insurance programs.  He found that a crown was an unnecessary treatment.  Since that time I have visited him twice a year for check-ups for cleaning. I have  recommended him to all my friends because he is honest and caring

Fantastic (well…as fantastic as a dentist can be). Dr. Lorman and Dr. Moskowitz are highly professional, caring and listen to their patients. I am a complete wimp and they take great care to be gentle with me when I am getting pulled, drilled and stitched. Dr. Moskowitz is also very handsome. The office is clean and conveniently located in midtown, so you don’t need to travel far for that lunchtime cavity filling. The office staff is VERY efficient and accommodating. Before the dentists perform any work, the office staff will let you know how much it will cost (so, no surprises in the mail). I hate going to the dentist but these guys make it as bearable as possible.

My wife and I have been going to him for a couple years now. He’s a great dentist…knows his stuff, and he doesn’t do work that you don’t actually need (in fact, he’ll tell you if he thinks you shouldn’t get something done to your teeth). He’s not in the Bear Stearns building anymore. The new address is 200 West 57th St.

From the moment you walk through the doors , the ladies behind the front desk greet you with a smile , you aren’t just another number there , there they know your name . The doctors are on another level . Everyone is very professional they know what they are doing . The quality of the work done is great . I have had only great experiences there from start to finish . Very quick and thorough appointments . Friendly staff . Very happy customer and I’d recommend them to everyone .

I have been going to Doctor Lorman for several years and have nothing but good things to say about him.  He is personable, helpful and really no nonsense, he doesn’t push what you don’t need which other dentists that have less robust practices do (cosmetics, etc.).  Their hygienist Gail who I, fortunately, spend the most time with is tremendous with respect to cleaning, tips, etc.  I have recommended Dr. Lorman to close family members and they are highly satisfied with his work.   Re location he is centrally located adjacent to Grand Central Station in Midtown Manhattan.

Have been going to Dr. Derario and Dr. Lorman since September 2007.  Feel very lucky to have found them after some bad experiences from other dentists in NYC.  They service a large number of JP Morgan and former Bear Stearns employees.  They have a professional staff and always make you feel like you’re getting the real deal.  I never feel like I’m getting unneeded services pushed on me, and Dr. Derario does his best to save teeth when he can.  A welcome change from dentists who are too eager to root canal/pull everything.  I’ve only had regular cleanings and fillings done here, so can’t evaluate anything else, but feel completely confident in both Derario and Lorman.
