I just had my first visit with Dr. Kapadia a few days ago. I was so impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of his office and staff that I felt compelled to leave a five star review. After my regular dentist retired a few years ago, I’ve only had a few checkups with some “commercial” offices that usually left a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended). However, now that I’ve found Dr. Kapadia, I know that I’ll be his client for as long his practice is open. Not only was he cordial and understanding of my lapse in regular cleanings, but the entire staff and my hygienist were really great as well. During my cleaning, I never felt like my gums were being stabbed and my hygienist constantly asked if I was still comfortable. Probably the best cleaning I’ve ever had…no exaggeration. My visit was totally comfortable, but also quick and straightforward. I never felt like I was being “sold” or had products pushed on me, just good information about options available to me if I had concerns about my smile. I was so pleased by my overall experience that I can genuinely say I will be recommending Dr. Kapadia to my family and friends.

Folks: This is Lisa Popkopfs old office. Honestly not much has changed and I am glad about that. Same staff, warm receptionist and 1st class office surroundings still. Plus they still have all of your history/records.. Dr. Kapadia recently took over her office.To be honest I really thought Dr. Popkopf was top notch and I was really bummed that I heard she moved on. But I am really delighted to report that Dr. Kapadia is very personable and caring. I really liked him. He was friendly, knowledgeable and kept me well informed. And don’t worry you still get your toothbrush, toothpaste and dental floss when you leave.I just went in for a cleaning but went as smoothly as can be. Parking: plenty / easy access. Office atmosphere: very clean, fresh and warm. You feel comfortable. Heck they even play some pretty good music – not boring elevator crap. Staff: Top Notch – friendly Scheduling: I was able to get a reasonable appointment and did not have to wait weeks to get in. So that is a plus. Hours: I believe they have some really early hours. Yep – I recommend and will be coming back.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Mufaddal Kapadia and his staff. From Judy at the front desk to Shari my hygienist. They are all absolutely awesome. You immediately feel like family. NEVER any pressure about procedures to have done like some offices. They are all so gentle, a great dentist for kids. I never dread going to the dentist, and that is saying a lot. Though I live two hours away from this dentist, I’ve heard so many good things about him that I decided to make the trek. And it was very worth it. I had really terrible staining and these folks had their work cut out for them. But, they were committed and my teeth have never looked cleaner. The doctor also found a cavity and filled it on the spot. I hate needles but I couldn’t even feel a thing when I got the shot, and the whole process was so painless. They make you feel like a valued customer here. And their team gets along so well that you actually enjoy yourself at the dentist (who thought that was possible?)!

Dr. Kapadia is the best! I have always dreaded going to the dentist, but he and his team make the experience as pleasant as possible. They are all very friendly and professional, which always eases my nerves as soon as I walk in. Dr. Kapadia is always honest, has a wonderful bedside manner, and is easy to talk to about questions or concerns that I have regarding my oral health. He always focuses on prevention and gives a full explanation of what is going on with my teeth even if I don’t ask (most doctors don’t do this and you walk out the door being confused about what just happened!). I found Dr. Kapadia thru a close friend. After having so many problems with getting the proper dental care where I live in Apple Valley. My friend suggested I go to his guy. That was Dr. Kapadia. He is extremely personable. The moment I walked in his office I felt welcome. So often these days the patient is nothing more than a number. No so with Dr. Kapadia. He greeted me and helped me feel peaceful immediately. I have always been terrified of dental work, however in my fears were unfounded. Dr. Kapadia called me to see how I was doing. At one point, and when he realized I needed extra help, he spent his time to research and locate the Dr. I needed for this other procedure. I recommend him every chance I get. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Kapadia and his team. They are all so friendly and welcoming. I have major fear of people working on my teeth, and they realize that so they all go out of their way to make sure I am comfortable and at ease. Dr. Kapadia has great chair side manners. I had been going to Dr. Popkoff for years, so when I got the notice that the practice had been sold, I was bummed out. But I already had an appointment scheduled so I decided to give the new dentist a try. Dr. Kapadia was great. He had an extremely light hand and I am very sensitive when it comes to the dentist, so that was nice. He was constantly asking me if everything was ok as he was doing the exam and made sure I was comfortable. I am glad that he kept the staff. Helen is the best, so it makes it easier to see some familiar faces. There have been some updates to the office too, which is nice. I like the little bonsai tree in the lobby. Nice touch. I am definitely going to be coming back to Dr. Kapadia.

I gotta be honest…I am no fan of the Dentist…Dr Popkopf got me back into the Dentist chair with a Professional as well as almost pain free experience (I was forced to see a Dentist for some dental issues). Imagine my dread when finding out that she had sold her practice. Looking for a great dentist? I’ve got a surprise for you! In my opinion, Dr.Kapadia is the #1 best dentist in California. I am an older women of some age and I’ve been to many Dentists in my life. I have never been to anyone that comes near to Dr. Kapadia. I have had a good deal of work done in his office over the several years that I have been seeing him, including a dental implant. Not only is he skillled, gentle, careful and experienced, but he has never hurt me in all this time! He is always cheerful and upbeat. Most people do not like going to the dentist. I do! I have been coming to this office since 1992. True, Dr Kapadia has not been here since 1992. Original office dentist retired . Of course I felt I was loosing an old friend at his retirement. Dr Kapadia has restored my faith and has proven to be a blessing to me and my family. Very soon after taking over the practice I was forced to make a rather uncomfortable oral decision. Make a new, and costly, partial upper plate or go for full plate. Dr Kapadia gave me all the information I needed to make the right decision for me. His oral surgeon recommendation, Jonathan Nakano, DMD, was extremely professional and caring. I am supremely happy with my decision and feel the professionalism and care given me by Doctor and his staff has been a true blessing. Speaking of blessings, my son was visiting from Oregon last Christmas holiday when an old cap came off one of his teeth. Two daughters and his brother live here, along with me. Three dentists were on holiday and could not see him, but blessed Dr Kapadia, saw him, fixed his discomfort (for a more than reasonable amount) and sent him home pain free to his own dentist.
Thank you for your compassion. Dr.Kapadia is also a generous contributor to the Thousand Oaks Woman’s Club yearly charity event supporting local charities. He donates a teeth whitening session each year. Well, you know how I feel about Dr. Kapadia. You will be so happy to call him “your dentist”

While I don’t think I will ever compare dental visits to winning the lottery, I will say that Kapadia ‘s group is as close as you can get. I am someone that has always feared/disliked dentists and I am thankful that I have finally found a dentist that I can trust to do good honest work. I have had a few fillings redone by Dr. Kapadia and can report absolutely no discomfort throughout the whole process. It was such a thrill after my first visit to realize that going to the dentist doesn’t have to be such a daunting and nightmarish experience, much like it was for the first 23 years of my life. It was such a weight off my shoulders because I had put off this dental work for quite sometime due to terrible past experience with other dentists. Genuinely friendly staff makes for a great, comforting atmosphere. Dr. Kapadia does an excellent job outlining the procedures and explaining the various facets of the dental work. I like to ask a lot of questions and he and his staff have always been forthcoming with answers and guidance. Customer service is huge in any industry, and his team embraces that. If you are looking for effective dental work administered by a truly amicable staff, you needn’t look anywhere else.

Also, I feel he is very honest and there is no hard sell, like I have been exposed to when changing dentist before. My family and I have been at this office prior to Dr Kapadia taking over. Like anything new, we were disappointed our prior dentist was leaving and nervous about someone new and unknown. Fortunately after only one visit, our concerns were completely alleviated. Dr Kapadia and staff are incredibly talented, professional, courteous and organized. My wife, kids and I all feel the same way. Kapadia is honest and straightforward. Never trying to oversell, overbill and convince you that you need some new “fandangled” device or procedure. His prices are very reasonable and scheduling is a breeze. His “chair-side” manner is superb. He is very kind and makes folks feel at ease. Always remembering family and special occasions. The overall experience every time I go to Kapadia Dental Care is amazing!!! Dr. Kapadia is one of the nicest and most helpful dentists I’ve ever met. Her whole team works SO well. I first came when I was younger, probably 12 yrs old give or take. I’m now almost 23 and I would never be more comfortable with any other dentist. As a practicing dentist, I would describe Dr. Kapadia in one word: Trustworthy. When my dentist of 15 years retired earlier this year I wasn’t excited to look for a new one. I was recommended Dr. Kapadia by a family friend and decided to have an examination and prophylaxis done at his office. I was immediately impressed by the professionalism of his front office staff when I walked into his office and was greeted by name. My impression only grew fonder of the office as I interacted with the DAs, the hygienist, and of course, Dr. Kapadia himself. The entire staff communicated with me at every step of my appointment and made me feel like I was the sole focus of their attention. After being awarded the title of runaway patient in my family, I have loved avoiding the visit to a dentist. Unfortunately during my pregnancy my sweet tooth gained power over my body making me blind to nutrition and a grabber for the first sweet thing I saw; making me a candy zombie for all I ever wanted was to spend the rest of my life with cotton candy. Alas, sweets took a toll on my tooth and my previous dentist thought it fit to extract my tooth. However not too keen on dentists anyways I let it go. My son turned 1, and it was time to get his little teeth checked; Dr. Kapadia certainly knows his ways around children , I wonder how he knew that the crazy bouncy spider toy was his favorite! As I saw my sons eyes shine with delight I melted into a chance giving mode and was like it won’t be that bad. Indeed it wasn’t. Dr kapadias kind nurse brushed my teeth with bubble gum flavored whatchamacallit and everything felt right in the world.all I remember is looking at how clean his ceiling was and what a nice clock the room had, not to mention clean shiny instruments I wish I could own them. My teeth feel like I had a second chance at life and not ruin it with anymore sugars. Although I may not keep my promise for too long but I sure love brushing my newly whitened teeth thanks to Dr. Kapadia!

Dr. Kapadia is awesome! His office is very clean and he and his staff are extremely friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. I have been to many dentists before, and have had some awful experiences, one of whom messed up my entire bite. Dr. Kapadia on the other hand is extremely meticulous with his work, and ensures you wont leave with any issues. I had to get a crown put in, and even when i felt like everything fit perfectly, he checked a few times to make sure I was happy with my fit and bite and overall my smile 🙂 He truly cares about his paitients and even checked up a few times during the week to make sure i wasn’t having any discomfort. Helen, the dental assitant, is really sweet and caring as well! Overall I’m very happy I found a new dentist who actually cares and that I can trust will do a great job!

I went in to see Dr. Kapadia on an emergency visit in July 2012. I instantly experienced his deep sense of caring and professionalism. I have since seen him several other times for cleaning and crown work. I have also taken my 12 year old daughter to him for a cleaning. She also loved the experience. I expect my adult son will also switch to him for his next visit. Let’s face it, none of us normally enjoy going to the dentist. However, Dr. Kapadia’s practice from A to Z makes it a great experience. His office staff, assistant, and his professionalism and quality of work is like I have never experienced at any dental office. My entire visit, I feel like I am visiting friends. Recently, I needed some major dental work done and I found out just how amazing Dr. Kapadia truly is. I decided to get 8 crowns for my upper front teeth and I was extremely nervous. I was never ever looking forward to going to the dentist, but I had to find one. I had some cavities and a crack in my tooth and it was starting to become unbearable. I had become a careless adult that was just brushing my teeth and not much else, I mean I would floss sometimes. I was new to Los Angeles and found Dr. Kapadia through my girlfriends friend who was married to a dentist. I was hesitant to expose the inner workings of my mouth to someone that would be this close to my girlfriend. It was very easy to set the appointment and his staff was very friendly, I got a reminder call of the appointment and was greeted with a big smile by Judy when I came in for my first visit. I was promptly brought to the back by Helen, the Dr’s assistant, who was very kind and also funny. She was very nice and mindful when taking the xrays and how difficult it was for me to hold the clamps in my mouth. Thanks for your patience Helen. Dr. Kapadia is one of friendliest doctor’s I have had for treatment. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to diagnose the problems I was having as well as telling me how I needed to step my toothbrush game. See, I was very excited about this new Oral B 3D White toothbrush I started using. I was so excited about it, that I bought it for my friends and my girlfriend. So excited, that I made them brush their teeth in front of me so I can see how excited they would become. They didn’t share the same enthusiasm as I did. So I told Dr. Kapadia about my new find in an attempt to impress him and he laughed at me. He very specifically said “you still use a manual toothbrush?” Manual toothbrush? I’ve never heard of such a thing. I’m using 3D technology to clean my mouth here and this dentist is telling me i’m using old technology. I couldn’t believe it. We laughed and joked about it as i’m trying to show him pictures on my phone and he’s scraping the gunk off my teeth, saying “yea some toothbrush.” Needless to say I left his office feeling better with my pain but sore about my toothbrush. Dr. Kapadia recommended I switch to an electronic toothbrush. I was hesitant to listen, mainly because i’m stubborn, but now I had some major decisions to make. I told my girlfriend about the bad news, I said “the doctor said the 3D toothbrush is garbage.” She said “what happened”, I said “he’s telling me I need to go electric” she says, “yea of course you should its awesome” I said, “yea right, i’m using 3D right now, what can be better than this?” and then I used it. It was awesome. Dr Kapadia was right. It was 1000 times better then the 3D. It was so much better that when I went back he noticed and told me that my teeth were looking better and that my gums weren’t bleeding and that there was less plaque on my teeth. Dr. Kapadia is a great doctor that I would recommend to anyone that is looking for a personable, funny, friendly and knowledgeable doctor.

I switched my dentist the day I found Dr. Kapadia was in town. After a casual conversation at a party about all things “teeth” I was convinced I was switching. He is smart and knowledgeable and upfront about one’s dental health. He made several recommendations to improve my dental health and I already see the results. He also has a great team of motivated and energetic hygienists on staff and they make me smile. I love going to my appointments it is laughter and party all around. Oh and he puts me to sleep when he is working on my teeth, he is what you say a “SMOOTH OPERATOR” so kids no worries!

Though I live two hours away from Dr. Kapadia, I’ve heard so many good things about him that I decided to make the trek. And it was very worth it. I had really terrible staining on my teeth and these folks had their work cut out for them. But, they were committed and my teeth have never looked cleaner. The doctor also found a cavity and filled it on the spot. I hate needles but I couldn’t even feel a thing when I got the shot, and the whole process was so painless. They make you feel like a valued customer here. And their team gets along so well that you actually enjoy yourself at the dentist (who thought that was possible?)!
