Dr. Sameni is the BEST. He is not only kind, gentle and caring, but he is also brilliant at what he does. He helped me through the ordeal of losing my two front teeth. (They were dead and needed to be extracted.) Then, he went above and beyond in making sure my replacement teeth looked perfect. He did an amazing job. I always feel safe and secure in his skill, wisdom and care. I’ve had my teeth cleaned by both Ursula and Candace and they do great work. In fact, all of the staff at WLA Dental are great at what they do. I highly recommend this office

There are so many things that I appreciate about West LA Dental Center, from being greeted  as soon as you step  into the reception area, to being offered text, email, or phone call appointment reminders (and remembering those preferences). Being greeted by name might seem like a funny thing to obsess about, but to me its the kind of detail that points to the professionalism and courtesy of another era. The entire staff is so on top of things and also just really nice people… Joan makes cleanings fast, painless and always entertaining. Dr. Sameni  has been so great about brainstorming solutions to my dental problems and offering patient and detailed options and explanations .  I can’t believe the lengths that he and his staff went to to get my smile in shape for a big anniversary abroad– I will always be grateful for that!!! Dr. Sameni’s persistent intelligence, inventiveness and KINDNESS  are the foundation of what makes this office so awesome.  Cannot recommend enough, especially if you are nervous about going to the dentists office!

Outstanding service as always! I drive to WLA from Santa Barbara (2 hour drive) and it’s so worth it. The entire staff is warm, friendly, and super supportive. I bought a salad to eat after my appointment and they put it in the fridge for me, with my name on it. They also allowed me to pump (nursing mom) in their conference room and asked if I needed a blanket, helped me find an outlet, and put a do not disturb sign on the door! Candice cleaned my teeth and she is amazing! All the hygienists are outstanding and super nice! The staff go out of their way…Not just one, but every single person that works there!! I love going to WLA Dental!! Thank you Dr. Sameni for having a stellar team!! New office design is beautiful..all the amenities I look for in a dental office!

I was in the US for a short break and decided to get my teeth checked out at WLA Dental Centre (UK spelling) and all I can saw is wow! I had a 1 hour session with Ursula the hygienist and a 1 hour session with Jennifer the dentist and both were by far the most through examinations I have ever been through (in a good way).  They put UK dentistry to shame. The level of professionalism and skill both Ursula and Jennifer showed was amazing.  They both have great skill in putting patience at ease with their kind nature and explain everything thoroughly as the go along which is reassuring. I would highly recommend WLA Dental should you need any dental work done, and if you are lucky enough to see Ursula or Jennifer you will be in for a treat! Jason (from the UK)

Dr Sameni and his staff are the absolute best. From the front desk on the attention to detail is second to none. Patient care is absolutely the priority. All procedures are done with education before hand so that you have a very clear understanding of what is to be done and why. Joan my cleaning technician is amazing. She is so thorough and yet gentle I cannot say enough great things about her professionalism. If you want to take care of your mouth visit WLA Dental Center you owe it to yourself.

I have to say that this is the most professional and through dental office I have ever been in. All the things you want or would expect are here, and actually, you receive more than you would ever expect. Everyone is clean, courteous and extremely pleasant. The doctor seems to possess the highest knowledge and executes his talents perfectly with much caring. He listens and he delivers what he says, for me without any pain. I look forward to my cleanings and knowing that I am getting the best care ever. We’ve been with Dr. Sameni for years. Some of the best dentists around were trained at USC. Dr. Sameni teaches there and mentors students as well, so he is up on the latest research and thinking. He’s a perfectionist and that’s what you want if he’s installing a  crown that will last forever, or creating fillings when gums erode that will look good forever. We recently went to his associate Dr. Raz for a checkup after another dentist had advised that my son have cavities drilled. After a long and thorough exam, Raz advised that what my son had would resolve on its own with careful cleaning, and that his philosophy was to drill into a tooth only if no other option exists. What dentist refuses to drill a cavity? This dental practice is clearly guided by Integrity, honesty, professionalism and extraordinary skill

I can honestly say, I love going to my dentist!   I’ve been a patient of WLA Dental Center for many years and have total confidence in their dental care and recommendations.    Dr. Sameni is a superbly trained and highly skilled dentist and I know he offers to do what is truly best for me.    Each procedure is preceded  by a discussion so that I fully understand his rationale and get all the info I need to make the final decision.    During all these many years, I’ve always been pleased with the decisions I’ve made and the results. After having a series of dental nightmares somehow by luck I had the great fortune of finding Dr. Sameni. I have had so much work done over the years on my teeth and it was my goal after some very bad experiences to find a good dentist. I did my homework and I was referred to some of the finest dental clinics and dentists around but to no avail.  After much unnecessary dental work I was left with with gaps in my teeth where food gets in and with infections that have required surgery more than once. When I found Dr. Sameni I was very skeptical but soon I realized I found the dental specialist I have been hoping for.  Dr. Sameni’s skill and his overall way of doing things with excellence and perfection were evident to me on day one. Also my friend had a veneer come off of one of her front teeth.  The well-known Beverly Hills dentist who had done her work was no longer around. Dr. Sameni was able to meet with this person on an “off time” emergency appointment and thank God he did!  Dr. Sameni made it possible for her to have a new temporary veneer done in his office that looked better than the expensive veneers that she already had. The preparation Dr. Sameni does before his surgery is impressive also. My same friend required some surgery and her experience with Dr. Sameni was outstanding. We have learned that Dr. Sameni trains a lot of new specialists and he is highly thought of by other dentists. I am also very pleased with the front desk staff who are very well trained. What a great experience and privilege it is for me to finally find someone who can take care of my teeth in the best way possible. Dr. Sameni is at the top of his profession. I was referred to him by a top periodontist.  I have been seeing Dr. Sameni for years.  He is very analytical, high touch, friendly, really caring. I recently had an incident where I fell on a Saturday and chipped a tooth. I emailed him a photo and got a response within an hour: “If it’s really painful, please let me know and I’ll come in on Sunday to address”.  I didn’t need to come in and Dr. Sameni fixed the tooth–brilliantly.  No discernible issue.  I then completed a call back with him on that issue about 4 months later.  Took X-ray, checked tooth.  About 20 minutes. No charge.  All included in the original service. A terrific physician

Going to the dentist often conjures visions and feelings of fear. What will they find? Is it going to hurt? I feel so vulnerable. Walking in to WLA Dental Center is like a calm breeze. The beautiful office and smiling welcoming people put me instantly at ease. My visit was prompted by severe dental pain. I was treated with patience, care and compassion and left clearly knowing the next steps to take to handle the issue they found. Dr. Sameni is a gem of a doctor not only with his dental skills but in his calming and professional demeanor. While a visit to the dentist may not be anyone’s idea of a good time this office makes that time as easy as can be

I have had so many problems with dental issues..and I have always searched out the very best dentists I could ever find. Finally I have found what I think is the very best dentist imaginable.I have a long story but all i will say is that Dr. Abdi Sameni is the greatest dentist Ive ever been too…and Ive been to a lot of the best. The staff was all great but Dr. Sameni was a PERFECTIONIST..and he was patient and took all the time he needed to do it correctly..NO pain. He is really the most kind ,knowledgable and again …a perfectionist. I am so happy to find him as I was starting to think Id never find a good dentist that could handle a complicated and difficult case.

I have been going to WLA Dental Center for more than 20 years.  I started with Dr. Rosenbloom, now retired.  He noticed a problem my previous dentist created and with my permission, he contacted the dentist and arranged to have him pay Dr. Rosenbloom (who taught dental ethics at USC) to repair the problem.  This concern and caring continued with his successor Dr. Sameni, who also teaches at USC Dental School.  One afternoon I had a dental emergency and the receptionist was not able to fit me in that day.  That night I was at my gym where I bumped into Dr. Sameni, who I never saw there before.  He was concerned that the office had no time for me that day and arranged for me to meet him at the office after my pilates class that evening at 9 pm, when he took care of my problem.  Who else would do that? I’ve now gone to Dr. Haddad for the first time and she has the same qualities, professionalism and caring than the other doctors at that practice.  Further, their dental hygienists are top notch and the entire staff are professional, kind and caring – and they laugh at my jokes!  I have referred very many patients to them, including my 90 year old uncle, who Dr. Rosenbloom took care of until my uncle passed away at 100.  You couldn’t do better than WLA Dental

WLA Dental Center is top notch. They partner with me to come up with the best approach to resolving a dental issue while taking great care of my teeth for long-term health of my mouth. I appreciate that they take the time to talk through the pros & cons and educate me so I understand the impact of my choices. I love my dentists and their whole team! Highly recommend them!

WLA Dental is all you want from your dentist–skillful, careful, sensitive to any discomfort, and totally ethical. They’ll give you options, and usually recommend the cheapest. No whiff of doing unnecessary treatments. I’ve been going here to Dr Abdi Sameni for 15 years, and for several years now my 93-year old brother has been seeing Dr Jennifer Haddad. Both are beyond wonderful. I cannot begin to describe just how amazing WLA Dental Center is. My front tooth had been chipped since the second grade and after numerous attempts at bonding by average dentists, I was left with one tooth shorter than the other. For years, I hated my tooth, until my dentist referred me to Dr. Sameni. Dr. Sameni is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Not only is he genuinely kind and caring, but he is a true master at his craft. From the first consultation, I knew I was in good hands. He patiently answered all of my questions and described the procedure in complete detail. I knew exactly what to expect each step of the way. During the procedure, he and his staff made me feel completely at ease and comfortable. His staff was amazing and cheerful and a joy to interact with at each step of the process. My tooth is now fixed thanks to Dr. Sameni and I LOVE what I see when I look in the mirror!! It is a work of sheer perfection on his part. I am so grateful to this amazingly talented and wonderful dentist!! I wish more people in the medical field were like Dr. Sameni. He is a true gem and an incredible artist. I have been a patient at WLA Dental for many years. Dr. Sameni is gentle, caring, and reasonable.  Dr. Sameni and his staff  have always provided explicit and cost conscious treatment planning information. I do not have dental insurance and therefore I must pay cash. The staff is ALWAYS  friendly, courteous and helpful. The hygienists are gentle and always take time to discuss the health of my gums and teeth to help me to improve my oral hygiene. WLA Dental staff, dentists and hygienists look at  me as a whole person, not just a mouth and teeth. I have referred many other friends and colleagues to WLA Dental and will continue to do so

I have used this dentist since 1998.  I send my kids here too.  I prefer Dr. Sameni who is better than any dentist I have been to. Example: he spends forever making sure a crown is perfectly seated and fitted;  he spent a lot of time making sure the temporary crowns were good too–they lasted a very long time, than god, because i was so busy with work and kids I was hard pressed to get back to get the perms done.   This guy is like some guild craftsman who wants the things to be perfect.  Once, I came in with an emergency on a Thursday before a holiday: I called and asked if anyone could stay a little bit. I got there at 5:45; I left at 8; Dr. Sameni missed a flight that night to go on a vacation and I only learned that weeks later. Tell me if you know any dentist like that. This place lives, breathes and dreams teeth: they nag you about flossing, rubber tipping, using high grade flouride toothpaste and cleaning. If you want to avoid teeth problems, this is the place. If you are like me and didn’t get great dental care as a child, and kind of neglected teeth in your 20’s, this is for you. if you want to keep your teeth, this is the place

I have been going to WLA Dental Center for over ten years. I don’t think you could convince me to go anywhere else. Dr. Sameni is the heart of the practice and cares deeply about your dental health before anything else. Dr. Haddad has been a wonderful addition to the practice and has gives extreme attention to detail in every aspect of your care. I have seen almost all of their hygenists with wonderful results. This practice wants you to keep your teeth and keep them as healthy possible. I can’t stress that enough. They are not trying to sell you unnecessary restorations. It’s rare to find a health service provider that you trust 100 percent. Highly, highly recommended

My previous dentist retired and I didn’t like the new Dentist that took over he well established practice.  I asked another retired Dentist friend for help in finding a new Dentist. I was referred to Dr. Sameni for a consultation on TMJ and met with him today.  He was very patient with me and answered all my questions. I left feeling much better and not pressured to do something immediately. He took the time to look at the xrays I brought and he used a camera to look at my teeth and gums. He explained what he saw and gave me a referral to a specialist in TMJ so now me and my husband will adopt him as our regular dentist and see the specialist for my TMG monitoring or solution. I have been a patient for 10+ years, maybe 15+. I was referred by one of the top periodontists in LA. Dr. Sameni is beyond thoughtful, caring and careful. He is always utilizing the latest technology. This past summer, I caught my toe, fell, and chipped a front tooth on a Saturday evening. I have been going to dentist for just about 60 years, so I believe that I know a little bit about dentist and their teams.  Dr. Sameni at WLA Dental Center in West LA is the best!  I travel from the South Bay to be seen by and cared for by Dr. Sameni and his staff.  From the moment you walked through the front door you are greeted, checked-in and you get to update your medical history if needed directly into a computer that is presented to you.  The front desk staff are friendly, professional and helpful.  They will address any need that you may have, appointments, payment processing and where to find the restrooms, etc.  Dr. Sameni designed my teeth.  I have the most beautiful smile in the world.  I would know I have traveled around the world and taken photos with a lot of folks.  Not only are my teeth beautiful, my gums are pristine.  I have received the most thorough mouth, neck, teeth, tongue, jaw, gums, check-ups since  Dr. Sameni became my dentist.   During my exam there is a camera that I can view my teeth and gums while Dr. Sameni checks my teeth.  Yes WLA Dental Center has all the modern equipment and dental chairs to make your visit peaceful and effective.    Dr. Sameni has the professional skills as a dentist, but he is an amazing artist!  I have had my teeth reconstructed three times from other dentist and none of them designed my teeth for me; my height, size of my mouth, structure of my face and my personality.  Very important aspects to take into consideration and you do not know this until you experience a genius with a gentle and compassionate touch and temperament.
