I don’t have any fear of going to the dentist for cleaning or other dental work but the staff would put anyone to rest. They are so kind and gentle,  My first visit I received a tour of the orifice and was offered coffee,  tea or water while I waited. Over all I will continue to go and make sure everyone I know is aware of such a great dental office.

Absolutely the best staff, best dentist, and best hygienist in our county! The atmosphere is incredibly comfortable and everyone always seems to be in such good spirits and expert advice and information is always provided! With onsite crown fabrication and fittings, it simply doesn’t make sense to go elsewhere. Where bang meets buck, this is the best office in Columbia County, in my opinion. ~ T. Griffith

I never thought I could every say that a 3-hour dental appointment would be a pleasant experience. I’ve not had much major dental work in my life, so I was very apprehensive and considered canceling the appointment. I didn’t and I am glad I made that choice! From the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by the friendly receptionist, until the procedure was complete, I felt at ease. They took their time to explain everything they were doing and patiently answered my many questions. Every employee that I came in contact with, as well those I didn’t have interaction with, was super friendly, efficient and you could tell they all love what they do and where they work. The entire office is run very well. I highly recommend St. Helens Dental Care.

I need to write this “positive” review as much as the “negative” review I just wrote about the OHSU dental school clinic. In short, I was a few months overdue for my usual cleaning and found the dental school clinic was largely unresponsive and I wasn’t so impressed with the student dentist I currently had anyway. In any case, this clinic was recommended by a local aquaintance, made a cleaning and new patient exam appointment for the next week, and I could not be more pleased. The best cleaning I can remember! I knew I needed a crown for a broken molar, made the appointment for the next week, new crown made on the spot that fit perfectly…in and out…! Hard to believe and they also called the next day inquiring about my overall comfort and if I had any residual pain? Nope! Thanks…see you in March!

I went in for a consult on something going on and immediately from the moment I walked into this office, I was treated like I’ve been going there for years. I love the personality, they make you feel so comfortable. They answered all my questions with upmost professional with a smile. I will continue to be a patient for many years to come.

I recently had an opportunity to save quite a bit of insurance money by changing providers. (I currently have ODS insurance.) The new insurance would not have allowed me to stay with Dr. Elliott, Dr. Grim and St. Helens Dental. I chose the higher premium so I could stay. I’ve been obtaining my dental care here for at least 15 years. I’ve never had anything but caring and excellent service.

I have had teeth cleaning, x-rays, dental exams, a root canal, and follow-up visit at St. Helens Dental Care Every experience has been top notch! The staff and doctors are very personable, professional, knowledgeable, and skilled. The office is welcoming, calming, clean, and has state of the art equipment. I always feel like I am in hands I can trust at St. Helens Dental Care.

I unfortunately had to take both my young children (7mo & 4y) with me to my initial exam/cleaning. My hygienist was AMAZING in her understanding and in working with me to make sure everything went smoothly. My youngest is exclusively breastfed and she responded exactly how she should when i needed to nurse while getting my cleaning done. I asked if there was a reason I couldn’t feed the baby while she worked and she said “as long as you’re comfortable, we’re good” I responded with “as long as she (the baby) is quiet, I’m comfortable” she said “then lets get it done!”. The baby fell asleep while nursing and when the dentist came to do my exam her attitude was the same. I also felt that she did a better job cleaning my teeth that the last dentist office I attended. I can not recommend this office enough. Their customer service and commitment to serving families shows in every step of the process

St Helens Dental Care has state-of-the-art equipment, a cool patient database with x-ray and photographic images of each tooth. Best of all, they solved a chronic tooth pain I’ve had for 12 years that three other dentists failed to diagnose! They measured and made me a digitally exact crown on site and installed it, all in one visit for about $1,000. I am very pleased.

A little bit of attention to detail goes a long way. I was offered an earlier visit due to a cancellation, I told the receptionist that I could come in but I had another appt immediately after. Everyone I saw mentioned “I know you need to get out of here on time” Even the dentist (who was extremely candid and kind) said, we’re going to get you out on time. In my opinion This is a well run practice!

Been to multiple dental offices around town and in Portland.  Had multiple issues with them.  Crowns that weren’t sealed properly, or after dental work done, receiving huge bills that I wasn’t even quoted for after the work was done.  Frustrated beyond belief I decided to try St. Helens Dental.  They fixed my crown on site while I waited, correctly billed my insurance, and have made all the bad years of different dental offices disappear.  I actually look forward to going to the dentist rather than dread it.  I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a great Dental Office.

I’ve always had outstanding care every time I come into the office. From the moment I arrive to the time I check out, every person I encounter is extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk seems to know everyone by name when they come in and the doc and his assistant always take care in making sure I understand everything that is going on and am comfortable. They are considered “out of network” with my insurance but I refuse to go anywhere else because of the excellent service they provide!

Thanks team, I had a misshap with a chicken pama over Easter which lead to needing a dentist. Being away on a holiday(from Vic) it was alittle nerve racking having to visit a dentist. I was put at ease and told the best option was to extract the tooth. The procedure went ahead and wasn’t as bad as what I was expecting. Thanks again.( ps would have given you a 5 but can’t say it was actually a pleasant experience).

As always my appointment was a great experience and was treated great by all the staff. My dental work was completed expertly and was not hurried out of the chair or the office. I would highly recommend St Helens Dental to all, especially folks of any age group that fear when they go to the dentist, as this dental facility erases the fear and expertly fixes your dental problems without fear of excess pain and discomfort.

Dr Grimm and his staff are exceptional. Very friendly, professional and extremely accommodating. I cannot recommend them more highly. Their high tech approach to dental care speaks to their desire to stay up with the latest treatments. I had a crown prepped and fabricated all in one appointment and as a busy professional not having to make multiple visits was not only a huge benefit to me personally but was a cost saving as well. And I am very happy with the result.

Wonderful Dentist and Staff!!! I moved to St. Helen’s and had a terrible dental experience at an other dentist office so I switched the family to St. Helen’s Dental Care.  They are super with dealing with anxieties about dental work or past bad dental experiences. Would definitely recommend this office to friends.
