I went in for a tooth ache and to be honest I was ready to yank the tooth out to be done with it. After Meeting Dr. Uka she was able to take a look at my tooth asses it and fix my cavity with out me loosing my tooth. The procedure was fast and was less painful than though it would be. My family and I have been seeing Dr. Ndidi for the past year. Moving to the Los Angeles area we were unsure of what dentist would service our children for their initial visit. We were concerned about bad experiences, etc…but thankfully Dr. Ndidi is gentle and kind to my kids, they enjoy going to the dentist. I think we made the right decision for our kids and family. I actually came to Dr. Uka for Invisalign but also needed other work done prior to my cosmetic work. I had been with my former dentist since childhood so I was apprehensive to go to anyone else. However, I had the best experience in her dental chair- the dental procedure was mostly painless, much to my surprise as I’m used to being gassed prior to anesthesia to bypass any discomfort. She was quick but thorough and explained what was going on with my teeth in the same visit. My Invisalign process has also been smooth sailing, and my 5 y/o son’s visit was pleasant as well. I’ve recommended her to family and friends of course- she’s good at what she does!

I had such a pleasant experience at A Plus Dentistry today. It was pretty hot today but the staff were so nice they even offered me a cold beverage as I waited in the waiting room to be called in. I came in today for a cleaning and I can honestly say the Hygienist did a fantastic job! One of the best cleanings I’ve had! She was so gentle and very thorough. If this is what I can expect, I don’t mind getting my cleaning every 3 months. thanks!!

Dr. Uka and her staff at A Plus Dentistry are by far the best in the business. There was no long wait like at most dentist offices. Upon completion of our paperwork we were called in immediately. X-rays, deep cleaning and when I say deep cleaning I mean the BEST deep cleaning ever and we were out of there in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this dental office to anyone looking for a new dentist.

What can I say about DR. Uka. She is simply the best!! When I came in for my first visit the staff was very nice and the office was very neat. They checked my insurance and took my X-rays quickly. The doctor came in and explained my treatment throughly and clearly. No other dentist talk to me in that way. She was very informative and not pushy. I even got a cleaning the same day. I hate going to the dentist but I’ll come back here any day of the week and i will gladly recommend this clinic to my friends and family.

I never really liked going to the dentist growing up but I really like going to this dentist. Dr. Uka is a great dentist. She is very professional and honest. I needed a new crown and she gave me options on the type of crowns that can be done and her recommendation but she wasn’t pushy about it. She let me decide for myself. After I decided they explained to me my insurance coverage and what my portion would be. The best part is that they bill the insurance for me. The last dentist I went to in West LA charge me everything upfront and I had to wait for my insurance to reimburse me which took a very long time. I really appreciate that the office is very upfront with everything. I have no complaints about this office will definitely refer my family and friends.

We want our patients to know we care about their dental health, comfort, time, and safety. Dr. Ndidi Onugha- Uka believes that "the simple act of smiling not only makes you feel better, but look better," and restoring that confidence through smiles is what made Dr. Onugha- Uka become a dentist. A Los Angeles native, Dr. Onugha- Uka completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA majoring in psychobiology. She then attended Pepperdine University where she earned her Master of Arts degree in education with an emphasis in psychology, and later attended the prestigious Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery. Not only is she an active member in the Angel City Dental Society, she also gives back to the community by feeding the homeless, and volunteering at food drives and health fairs. In her spare time, Dr. Onugha enjoys cycling, running marathons, traveling, cooking, and reading. Her dream is to be a successful and great dentist, wife, mother, and daughter.
