Honestly I don’t agree with the other reviews because I personally had a good experience. I found out about Advanced Dentistry because it is in the same lot as the gym I signed up at, so I figured I would go in for a new-patient exam. The front desk lady greeted me nicely and the dental assistants were very knowledgeable and considerate. Dr. John used a small camera to take me on a “virtual tour” of my mouth which showed me every small details with excellent resolution. I don’t think he was trying to sell me anything, but I have always taken good care of my mouth. The facility is also very clean. Hope you find this review helpful!

I, personally am a fan of Dr. John. I came to him because my former dentist provided only cleaning of my teeth by staff. Having taken x-rays Dr. John pointed out that almost all of my teeth were cracked because of my grinding my teeth at night. He took photos and x-rays of each tooth and pointed out the existing cracks. I guess I could have left them as they were and set up a schedule of regular meetings to repair or crown each one but I thought 20 plus meetings was a bit much. I chose to crown them all in two afternoon sittings, one for the upper teeth and one for the lower teeth. The pain killer used and his work was fantastic…which means that I did not feel any pain throughout the process! You can’t ask for anything better! The crowns fit well, as do my night guard. I will say that the decision to crown all of my teeth at one time was mine, totally. When I think about having to set up a schedule of regular meetings for dental work, I think about the amount of time I would have to spend traveling to and fro just for each meeting…I live inside the loop! Having x-rays and photographs taken of each tooth, and then having a thorough explanation of what was wrong and what my options were in caring for my teeth, made me feel comfortable in that I knew that I was under the care of someone who was concerned about me and my teeth. That’s Dr. John.

I recommend Advanced Dentistry to anyone. I explained to Dr. Rouhani my fear of needles and she gave me nitrous oxide and filled my 2 cavities with NO numbing injections. She assured me that she would stop anytime I felt any pain but was so gentle and I had very minimal pain during/afterwards. I am also getting Invisalign to correct my open bite…. she is the best.

My encounter with this office started prior to my actual visit. My interactions with the appointment representative was as if they already knew me. They were courteous and helpful. This was the culture of the office as well. Each person you encountered made you feel comfortable and apart of the decisions regarding the care they were providing. Dr John made me feel comfortable and was very caring and compassionate. The treatment coordinator was thorough and explained all options and answered all my questions. The office environment itself was very refreshing as you relaxed in an atmosphere of worship. You deserve 5+stars.

My retainer needed some attention. I called the front desk and the lovely ladies were able to get me in right away. Norma also double check with my insurance prior to scheduling my appointment to ensure my dental cleaning will be covered since I’m coming in off schedule. I was able to take care of 2 things in one day. I love the staff at Dr John office. I’ve been coming to this clinic for over 7 yrs now. They work with my schedule and my insurance. Dr John is amazing with his skills specially with the numbing injection. Him and Jaime are an awesome duo! They both reassure me that I will be taken care of despite the awfulness news I received. I love the Christian music they play in the background which is something rare to see but it’s something I do appreciate. I hate dentist but I am so lucky to found a genuine dentist and caring staff that makes my dental struggle feasible. Thank you!

I used to be a broke college student who couldn’t afford a bottle of Vo5 shampoo. Naturally, during this dark time in my life, I developed an explainable tooth pain. And, more naturally, since I couldn’t afford Ramen noodles, I definitely couldn’t afford a dentist. So, I spent my college years self-medicating this explainable tooth ache. Upon graduating I had no insurance, a crap job, and a raging tooth pain. One day my pain got so bad that I couldn’t ignore it. I went to some hood-rat dentist for help. I told them, “My tooth hurts. It feels like I’m being murdered from the inside of my mouth.” They slapped that tooth with a thick instrument to see how sensitive it was. The dentist called me a baby when I came out of the chair crying. Then she told me I basically had third-world periodontal disease and would need to pay them $600 to deep clean my gums. That’s all my problem was. I told this to my millionaire-boss (who paid me enough to live like a migrant worker) and she was shocked and appalled. She was absolutely convinced that the hood-rat dentist was lying to me, and thus, even though she did not provide me with benefits, I needed to see her dentist. Off to see this magical dentist I went. He told me I had minor gingivitis and definitely didn’t need a deep-cleaning. I just had a couple of cavities and that tooth – the one the other dentist had slapped with some evil hammer – had several cracks. It would cost around $800 to put a crown on this tooth he told me. Also, he said I needed braces. (He could get me the hook up because coincidentally, his brother was an orthodontist.) Now, one would think that my journey to fix this tooth ended here. Except it did not. This magical dentist was an asshat. When you are poor and can only afford to live in a dungeon, $800 is a lot of money. But, I was willing to do whatever it took to fix this tooth of Satan. So, I scheduled time off with my boss. I paid for the sedation medication. (Side note, I am afraid of the dentist. I have been ever since the hood-rat dentist slapped my fractured tooth with a brick. The magical dentist had no tolerance for shy, nervous patients. He initially refused to work on me unless I calmed down – as in, please go home. Then he decided to just medicate me. Then he made it rule that whenever I see him, I should forevermore be knocked out on Valium.) Since I was knocked out on Valium, I couldn’t drive. Thus, I had to kick some gas money towards my hot, but equally broke friend, and have him drive me to the dentist. But it was worth it. Because I was FINALLY going to be rid of this tooth pain that had plagued me for years. Only this was not the case. The dentist decided he wasn’t going to put a crown on my tooth. He thought he would save me $800 by adjusting my bite so that I wouldn’t put pressure on this broken tooth. Now, had I not been knocked out on Valium, I might have argued with him. But alas, I was gone. I vaguely remember his dental assistant calling my hot friend – who I had a MAJOR crush on – to come into the room. While I was sprawled out in the chair with my grill open and looked the opposite of sexy, she told him every single tooth flaw. Because she thought he was my boyfriend. And apparently, that’s what you tell boyfriends. I finally woke up 12 hours later and my friend called me to be all, “Btw, you need braces. You have five cavities. You need a dental cleaning. But first, it sounds like you should really look into those braces. She said your teeth are trying to run away from each other.” Awesome. Excuse me while I go kill myself. This struggle to find a dentist who would listen to me went on for years. By then I had a decent job that had benefits, but couldn’t find a decent dentist. In fact, just when I thought that all dentists were total nincompoops, a friend gave me a recommendation to see her dentist, Dr. John Varghese. I went to him expecting him to be equally retarded. Oh man, that man saved my life. First, he did not care that I was a nervous Nellie. He let me listen to my music to help drown out the noise. He gave me free Nitrous to help abate the anxiety. (It’s no longer free, but it is an option.) He fixed my devil tooth. He gave me a root canal. (It was an emergency issue by that point.) He told me I couldn’t even have braces because I had gum disease by that point. Any time I was short on funds they did a payment plan for me. Candace, who handles the payments, is really good about watching out for your wallet. I know this has been a long review, but I just wanted to give everyone an idea of my journey to find a great dentist. Now that I’ve found Dr. John I’ll never go to another dentist again. I 100% recommend him to anyone. (And have!) PS: Dr. John’s office is well aware of HIPPA rules. They will not call your ride into the room and mock your teeth. (I made sure.)

I had a cleaning with the hygienist Frankie. She was so gentle and kind to me for my whole appointment. I am a very nervous patient and she talked me through everything she did. She is amazing. Very passionate about the importance of complete oral health. Then Dr. John came in to do my exam. He carefully studied each tooth one at a time. I was so impressed with the amount of time he spent just explaining to me what he found. I have finally found the doctor who I have been looking for. This is my forever home. Dr. John has been my dentist for the past 6+ years. I have lived in two countries and traveled far and wide and have needed to visit dentists regularly. By far he has been the best dentist I have been to. His team is exceptionally professional and have a charm about them. I had some cosmetic work to be done on a tooth and I was very pleased with the results. The process was seamless and they helped me overcome my fear and helped me be at ease throughout the whole time. Pam and Krystal are really nice and very professional in their work. Dr. John knows what he is talking about and communicated the problems I had in a way that was easily understandable. He is a phenomenal doctor but from knowing him over the last few years he is also a great human being. I have been back for numerous cleaning and whitenings. I recommend him and his team to anyone in need of a Dentist.

Amazing From the moment you walk into the office! The front desk ladies were extremely friendly, professional, resourceful, provided me with every detail and what some of the steps of m appointment for the day would look like. The dentists assistant was wonderful and engaging. The dentist was phenomenal and very thorough. Not only did they take all types of exams but also walked me through every step. The lady who estimates all of the costs was very solutions driven as well as knowledgeable and detailed. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE STAFF!! Such a beautiful, elegant facility! Doesn’t even look like a dental office.

Great dental office. Doctor is very skilled. Staff is extremely knowledgeable. They treat everyone like they are part of the family. The doctor uses a camera to exam the mouth. You get to actually see the cavity instead of a doctor just telling you that you have a cavity. They also offer blankets,music and nitrous to help make your experience an enjoyable one. Can no longer say I’m afraid of going to the dentist!!!
