My husband and I have been going here for 4 years. We’ve always had great experiences (from regular cleanings, to the restoration of a tooth with a vertical root fracture, and even wisdom tooth extraction).
They want you to keep your original teeth for many years to come, and the doctors will take all the time needed to save them!

I’ve been looking for a new dentist for a while and walked into the office which is next to our dry cleaners. Everyone at the front desk was so welcoming and nice. They answered all my questions and I felt comfortable enough to book an appointment right away.
There happened to be a same-day opening so took it. Saysha was great. She did my x-rays and assisted Dr. Shapiro during my cleaning. My cleaning was awesome by Dr Shapiro. He even did a small filling 100% pain-free!
I would highly recommend Aliso Creek Dental!!!

I have seen every doctor at this office and they are all very kind and gentle and patient! The front desk staff are always so friendly and helpful. I hate being numb, so they try their best to numb only the area they need. I saw Dr. Shapiro today. He was excellent. He did a great job with the numbing needle. So quick and painless. He was fast too. I was never uncomfortable. They are always checking on you to make sure you are content. They also have Netflix so you can watch a movie while you are being seen. I would highly recommend them.

We are so lucky to have found Aliso Creek Dental (…) Everyone here is so professional and accommodating. Dr. Shapiro is very patient, kind and friendly and took the time to answer all the questions i had. My wife was also seen by Dr. Shapiro and said she actually enjoyed her appointment, because he was very gentle and efficient. She said Dr. Shapiro is the best dentist she has ever been to. I also want to thank Christina at the front desk for welcoming us like we were old friends. She completely explained our insurance coverage and all of our co pays without trying to sell us anything we didn’t want. Huong, the hygienist had some great tips for improving my hygiene and got my teeth cleaner then they have been in a long while. Overall, everyone was so nice, my wife and I felt so comfortable, like we had been coming here forever. I would like to give 10 stars if I could!!!

I highly recommend Aliso Creek Dental. As a new patient the staff was extremely warm, helpful and appreciative. Dr. Shapiro did a great job taking care of me. He explained everything and was very gentle. Everything I needed taken care of was completed in one visit…X-Rays, Exam, Filing, Cleaning and Polishing. It is fabulous for me as I work full time and find it difficult to get away for Dr. Appointments. I am all set after just one visit until my six month cleaning. Also, his assistant Roxanne was amazing…I tend to get cold and she put a blanket on me to keep me comfortable. It made me feel like I was in a very caring environment. From exams, cleanings, teeth whitening, crowns replaced & finally getting the veneers I dreamed of. I am consistently impressed with the knowledge & professionalism that the team possesses.
I am also greeted like I am family, the waiting time is minimal, I am always presented on what to expect & cost of services prior to even entering an exam room. During every visit I am met with warm caring professionals who sincerely care about helping me & keeping me comfortable. Honestly I could not ask for more from a dental office.

I have been going to this dentist for a couple of years now and have been super happy.
The staff is very nice and always helpful. My dentist Dr. Jonathan Shapiro has been my go to for my bad teeth .
3 bridges and crown and you can’t tell how much candy I ate as a kid unless you look at my x-ray.
I also get my cleaning regularly & have had a whiting treatment that I have been very happy with.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. I know finding a good dentist & one you trust is near impossible.

Today I finally was able to go to a dentist that I feel totally comfortable with. Aliso Creek Dental oh my what a little gem in my area. Today I saw dr. Jonathan Shapiro and the dental hygienist (…), they were wonderful they have the most modern tools everything was painless they’re also offering a new patient special for $99. They’ve x-rayed my teeth they clean them, and everything was pain-free they are so professional from the girls in the front office to the dental hygienist to the dentist what a wonderful place I recommend dr. Shapiro and the hygienist in fact everybody in that office. It’s nice to be able to go into a dental office and not have students learning on you which I have in the past with other dental office these people are all professionals and are very gentle with you I’m so lucky to find them.

I had to return to Dr. Shapiro for an infected molar that had to be extracted. Not only did they get me in FAST, but the extraction was very clean and easy, especially for someone like me who’s terrified of the dentist. Dr. Shapiro understands my fears, and while he lets me go on about it for a few minutes, he has a great way of getting me back into the moment and down to business. Great sense of humor, which is essential for me. Thanks to the terrific staff as well!!

I don’t think there is somebody that likes going to the dentist, never the less we need to. Normally I get to tense that my neck and shoulders hurts for the next 2 days, today I see Doctor Shapiro and I have the best experience ever in the dentist office, he explain all the process and also give me options to fix the issue, the cost and what is the best for me, and I really like that he was very gentle that much, that my neck is ok now yeee!!! no pain for stress. As always, Dr. Jonathan Shapiro delivers the best care. This is the reason why I don’t mind driving 50 miles . He explains dental procedures thoroughly and he’s just inherently talented at what he does.
He did my root canal many many years ago and I never have any problems with it. I also work in healthcare and effectiveness in delivering a stellar service is paramount to enhance trust between provider and patients and I highly recommend Dr. Shapiro and Aliso Creek Dental for the above mentioned. My first time seeing a dentist in over 5 years (had a horrible experience with prior dentist) and I left Aliso Creek Dental feeling like I had won the lottery of great dentists!!! The front office was very welcoming and professional. My appointment was on time. I explained my fears and concerns to Dr. Shapiro and he quickly put me at ease. He let me decide what work I wanted done that day (No pressure or “sales pitch” like other dentists I had in the past) My x-rays and cleaning were done in a comfortable way. I needed a crown and the procedure was quick and painless. The dental assistant was so pleasant and professional as well. I wish I had found this dental office years ago. I always strive to deliver a pleasant and informative dental experience, staying attuned to my patients individual needs and desires, while delivering the highest quality dentistry possible. I feel my work is a reflection of myself and, as such, will always provide my patients with a result we can both be proud of. I want to make people smile while improving their health. After graduating from Monmouth University, Dr. Shapiro received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. He has a deep passion for learning, and regularly attends continuing-education courses to keep abreast of cutting edge technologies. In his free time, Dr.Shapiro enjoys producing music, building and playing guitars and spirited drives on California’s many canyon roads.
