Dr. Kim and his staff, including Yadi, Maria, Mireya, and Katie, are all amazing people! Dr. Kim makes every visit a great experience, and I truly am grateful that I found Dr. Kim. Every time I am at the office, Katie greets me with a smile. The staff go out of their way to make me comfortable and Dr Kim does incredible work. I have had crowns, fillings, and regular teeth cleanings, and each time I know I am getting the best treatment possible. I like that Dr Kim has the latest technology at his fingertips and he’s always so professional and tracks my history to see how my dental health is trending. I would highly recommend Dr Kim, but I also recommend his staff as well. They work together to make their dental office the very best!

I highly recommend this dentist. Dr. Kim is very gentle and it almost felt like a good massage when he was deep cleaning my teeth. He takes the time to get to know you and make sure that you comfortable. He also gives you a good explanation of whats going on with your teeth and makes good recommendations. I’m typically terrified of the dentist and all that comes along with it, because let’s face it most dental offices are scary and just extremely uncomfortable to be in, hence why most of us try to avoid dentist visits as much as possible or at least I do. It’s been a couple years since I last been to a dentist so naturally I was that much more nervous. Upon arriving at Allegra I was instantly welcomed in great comfort which brought my anxiety levels completely down it was almost like instant relief. Visiting with Dr. Kim was a fantastic experience; He was very professional but very relate-able and extremely thorough, he really talked through exactly what my visit would consist of which made me very relaxed and comfortable. The office and stations at Allegra are very nice and clean and the staff was more than accommodating, I almost forgot I was in a dental office!! I am very happy with my experience at Allegra and I will definitely be recommending Dr. Kim to all my friends and family!!

Dr Kim is amazing. After having been in his office and seeing all his technology, I referred my brother in-law and a close friend to him. He was gracious enough to come in on a Sunday to accommodate them. My brother In-law had broken a crown done some years ago by another dentist. Dr Kim was able to remove the previous crown and create the new crown in just over an hour. My brother in-law was ecstatic and was able to eat lunch shortly after the procedure.

Dr. Kim is truly the best!!! His expertise includes the latest technology in equipment and skill. I’m 55 and my “mom” (best friend) is 82 and we both have had other amazing dentists throughout our lifetime, however, we both agree that Dr. Kim is the best! We consider ourselves blessed to have found him. One of the things we especially like about him is that he makes crowns in-house as you wait. This has provided the best fitting crowns with minimal adjustments that we’ve ever experienced. Truly amazing! I have been seeing Dr. Kim since October 2015 for implant dentistry. I found out about his office through a brochure that I received in the mail. I read about how the team was friendly and caring and that Dr. Kim used the latest technology to make patients’ treatment efficient and comfortable as possible. What they described in their brochure was absolutely true. I felt comfortable from my initial appointment. Dr. Kim explains every process he will be performing prior to each visit and also on each visit. Thus far, I’ve had a gum graft, porcelain/ceramic crown replacement and prophylaxis. Every procedure has gone very well with almost no pain except for the normal slight discomfort. I also love their staff – Katie and Mireya. They are both efficient and friendly. Katie, Patient Coordinator, thoroughly explains all expenses prior to treatment and tries her best to accommodate my schedule . Mireya, RDA, supports Dr. Kim and she does a super job making me feel comfortable as Dr. Kim works on my teeth. I recommend Allegra Dental to anyone needing dental work. I will continue as a patient even after my implant is completed.

Dr Kim is a superb dentist. His credentials are impeccable and he is highly knowledgeable and skilled. He is gentle and thoroughly explains what he is doing and why. He is honest and provides options for each step of treatment. His office staff are wonderful and his equipment is state of the art – very high tech. My wife watched her favorite TV series while getting two teeth crowned and barely noticed the work being done. I am truly extremely impressed with him. After treating my wife and I, we decided our children were better served by going to see him than their previous pediatric dentist. Dr Kim now sees my whole family. Came here after waking up with extreme pain in my front tooth, called up Dr. Kim’s office and they had me in there within the hour. First impression, very clean and professional. The office is super nice and staff is always very friendly and welcoming, makes it easier to come back! Went through everything he was going to do and showed me what was wrong on this crazy cool 3d scan they did. I ended up getting a root canal which was successful and surprisingly fast. A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
A native of Southern California, Dr. Kim graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then entered New York University College of Dentistry and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with multiple senior awards. While studying at New York University, he was chosen to receive the award for highest hours of clinical work and exemplary dental practice, as well as an award for excellence in Endodontics from the American Association of Endodontists. Having completed more than ten times the graduation requirements one year early, Dr. Kim received a special waiver from the dean to rotate full-time in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at Jacobi/Albert Einstein Medical Center during his last year of dental school. Furthermore, Dr. Kim received training in IV sedation at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, worked with medically complex and high-risk patients in a special elective program during his senior year, and participated in global outreach in the Dominican Republic. Dr. Kim’s genuine passion for dentistry has led him to pursue extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, CAD-CAM restorative dentistry, oral surgery, implant dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, and full mouth rehabilitation. He completed his post-graduate training at the prestigious Kois Center in Seattle, WA. Currently, he serves as a distinguished Kois mentor for other dentists worldwide in a comprehensive, didactic and evidence-based curriculum on the latest advances in esthetics, implants and restorative dentistry.
