If you want integrity and quality work, then this is the place to go. My family and I have been patients here for over 20 years! The hygienist have such high standards and truly care about you. My children actually like going to the dentist:-) I also love the fact that both Dr Russo and Dr Alpers are so honest and will never have you do work unless it’s truly necessary. I’ve had both of them do work on my teeth and I always feel so comfortable in their chair knowing that they will be gentle and compassionate. Absolutely the best Dentist Office in Arizona!!!!

I switched dentists to Dr Alpers about a year ago and I am soooo happy I did! I love this office! Tina and Carla at the front desk are always so nice, thoughtful and caring. They always get right back to me with any questions. Dr. Alpers has been very professional and his work has been outstanding. I highly recommend this office to all my friends!

This is one of the best run businesses I have ever had the pleasure of patronizing.  Dr. Alpers is a wonderful dentist and makes me feel very calm and well cared for.  Karen has been my hygienist for years.  She does a fabulous job and is lovely to chat with during cleanings. Carla and Tina at the front desk are very welcoming and responsive.  My appointments are always on time, I get timely appointment reminders, and billing is quite smooth.  I am a very happy patient and highly recommend this practice.

Dr Alpers and his incredible team will make you feel at home from the moment you step foot in the door. The front office staff take a genuine interest in you and are always willing to go above and beyond to help/support you. The hygienists are kind, knowledgeable, and really great at what they do. They make going to the dentist something to look forward to instead of fear. During a procedure, Dr Alpers is calm, patient, and explains everything he is doing every step of the way. It really puts you at ease. I have never had a smoother dental work process. I don’t have enough superlatives to express just how amazing and special this dentist, this team, and this place are. If you are ever looking for a dentist or to get dental work done (especially if you have ever been scared or had a bad previous experience somewhere), Alpers Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is the place to go! Aplers Family Dentistry is an A+ establishment. I go outside my insurance network just to come here because they are just that good. I tried going in network one time, to a different dentist, because I thought how different can a dentist office really be? I was wrong. The very next time I came back to Dr Alpers and will stay with them for life. Its more than just Dr. Aplers, although he is very awesome too. The staff is amazing, and completely on top of everything. Dr. Alpers’ hygienist, Sharon, is INCREDIBLE. The office is clean, modern and comfortable. The whole team works together to take care of their patients. They really do care, which is hard to find these days. Thanks again to Dr. Aplers and his AMAZING staff! You have a patient for life!

My husband and I have been with Dr. Russo and now Dr. Alpers for over 6 yrs. The office staff is amazing from front desk to all dental hygienists and dental assistants. My husband and I have had many treatments including Invisiline. Never had a bad experience. Everybody is nice and has great knowledge of what they do. I would strongly rec them to anybody!

Everything is great. The whole staff is friendly. I had my teeth cleaned today by Karen and she is great and explains everything she is doing. She is very thorough! Dr. Alpers is a great Dentist. He makes sure everything is doing good with your teeth and when I chipped a tooth about 6 months ago he fixed it and I can’t even tell that it has been chipped. I would recommend this dentist to everyone!

Simply the best. We have never had better experiences or services in a dental practice. From the dentists, to the front office, to the technicians to the hygienists, all are actually wonderful people. We have sent all of our family and friends here for years, and the staff have become our friends. For years Dr. Russo has been my dentist and I always recommend him and his amazing staff to others. It’s always a little concerning when one is phasing out and another taking over. I can confidently say that Dr. Alpers calmed those concerns immediately. He’s a skilled and caring dentist, with the same amazing staff, who I also highly recommend.

Despite my dental anxiety, I like going for my scheduled cleanings and dental work to Dr. Alpers and staff. Everyone there is friendly, kind and takes time to listen to all of my concerns. On New Year’s Day, I had the toothache of all toothaches. Dr. Alpers saw me on January 2, prescribed medication for the tooth infection and referred me out for a dental extraction and implant. The kindness and care given me was terrific. I highly recommend the Alpers Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.

It was my first time there so they did a thorough job explaining everything they were going to do and why. I felt like they really cared about getting a thorough exam and explaining the findings to me, and were flexible with me for when I needed to return! The atmosphere was awesome and the people are very friendly.

I’ve been with Drs. Alpers and Russo for 15 years and truly feel that this practice is beyond extraordinary! Both dentists are dedicated to their patients and their care, expertise and commitment are beyond expectations! Sharon, my hygienist, is amazing! Terrific office full of wonderful people! Dr. Alpers is one of Arizona’s best and most qualified and experienced fully restorative dentists! Not to mention a pretty good golfer as well 🙂 Always quick friendly service with lots of smiles! The girls in the front office are so sweet and are always so helpful and accommodating with any scheduling or insurance needs.

I have been going to Dr Alpers and Dr Russo’s office for 18+ years, they are great. But, the great tone is really set by the front office staff, the dental hygienists and all the staff. They are personable, professional and know their stuff. Going to the dentist never feels like “going to the dentist”. And, over the course of all the years I don’t remember waiting more than five minutes for my scheduled appointment time. They are always on time!

I became a patient of Dr. Russo in 2003 after moving to Arizona. Dr. Russo is a highly skilled dentist who also happens to also have a great sense of humor! Dr. Alpers is taking over the practice and recently did some dental work for me. He is calm, communicative, and caring in his approach and inflicts the least pain necessary to get the work done. I can’t vouch for the crown yet but am confident he did a great job. I like this dental practice because the staff is very competent and extremely friendly, helpful with insurance billing questions, and always make it a positive experience for both my husband and me. Furthermore, I never feel like they are trying to “upsell” me, a practice management tactic that I have experienced with many other medical practices. I highly recommend this dental practice without hesitation.

WOW, I just read all the “favorable” reviews..couldn’t agree more! The addition of Dr Alpers to the practice has been smooth and easy..he has such an easy manner. Front office welcome is friendly, warm and super efficient. Love Sharon’s touch when cleaning added with her joyous laugh. Roxy..ever sweet and knows how to tweak my partial for comfort and bite. I’ve a long association with the practice as a patient..23 years..a good marriage!

Super happy with Alpers Family Dentistry. I became a new patient last month and was pleased the moment I came in. All the staff is so nice and and is clear on everything. My hygienist was so sweet and walked me through everything before she did anything and was knowledgeable. And then of course Dr. Alpers, tallest doctor I’ve seen but also very professional and explained everything going on. I Called for a last minute appointment for some pain I was experiencing and they were able to get me in same day even at the end of their day which for a crazy time of the year in general and also a Holiday month, was so appreciated. I haven’t seen a dentist in over maybe 7 years because I was nervous and am skeptical with doctors actually caring for patients (being in the healthcare field myself) but I am beyond pleased with their service and friendly staff and would 100% recommend them.

It is always stressful when your dentist retires and the practice gets acquired by another dentist, but Dr. Alpers is as wonderful as Dr. Russo has been for the many years my family has been going to their practice. I left my previous dentist after they started pushing invisalign despite whether you needed it or not, and I am happy to report I never had that experience in Dr. Alpers’ practice. It’s refreshing to go for a cleanup and be told that everything is fine! My hygienist (Karen) is outstanding, and thanks to her I haven’t needed any dental work in a long time. Highly recommend!

I have been a patient here for 20 years. The front office has always been wonderful: friendly, helpful and efficient. Carla and Tina have even saved me a trip in to the office by making helpful suggestions. Our beloved hygienist (Judy) retired years ago, and the transition was seamless, thanks to Karen. Karen is a whip-smart hygienist who is great at her job, and incredibly nice to boot. She takes fantastic care of us each visit. Our longtime dentist (Dr.Russo) retired over this past year. Once again, Dr.Alpers has made the transition a good one. I’ve had two dental emergencies over the past six months (root canal and chipped front tooth.) Dr. Alpers and the team floored me by getting both issues taken care of in an instant. I couldn’t have been more grateful. If I see Roxie the assistant it’s because I have a problem beyond a cleaning. Luckily, she is such a wonderful person that I’m just happy to be in such good hands. Alpers Dentistry is the best!

I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist. Dr. Alpers and Dr. Russo are proven practitioners with skill and integrity. A patient does not have to worry about having unneeded work done. The two are also personable and caring about their patients. Staff at this practice are friendly and professional. I am confident I will always receive excellent care. Any time I have had a problem come up, I was treated quickly and compassionately.
