I recently finished Invisalign treatment and as the result, I had gum recession on one of my front teeth where the tooth started to move (my teeth were pushed out during the straightening process and the front gum tissue was too thin). My dentist said I would need gum grafting surgery. After I researched into it, I dreaded having it done because of the procedure (I HATE being cut open!). I found out there was another method called the “pinhole” to fill up gum line which is less scary, but my dentist told me to find a periodontist who will be honest about which procedure is best for my case. I searched around online and found Dr. Satlin’s office. He does both traditional gum grafting surgery and pinhole procedure so I set up a consultation with him. He was honest with my situation and said I definitely would need to do gum grafting. I had the surgery on January 15. I was very nervous, but Dr. Satlin and his assistant were very gentle and kind during the whole process which took about an hour. They did a great job keeping me calm and easing my nerves. I felt nothing during the procedure. I then followed the post-op instructions to the T. In the next week, I had zero pain, minimal swelling, no bruising, and very tiny bleeding one day when my toothbrush accidentally touched the newly grafted gum. I had a total of 3 post-op visits and everything was healing beautifully. I had my 6-week post-op follow up yesterday and Dr. Satlin showed me my before/after photos. What a big difference! He did a fantastic job and I told my dentist. My dentist asked for Dr. Satlin’s info and will be referring patients to him because of the fabulous work he’s done on my gum. I highly recommend Dr. Satlin and his office.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences with Dr.Satlin in the half dozen times I’ve seen him. He was referred by my dentist, whom I very much adore, so I figured it would be a good fit. I appreciate that he listens to my concerns and that seems to factor in to how he treats. He has been forthright and specific about the treatment I’ve had, has taken my phone calls when I have questions, and just recently, did not do a procedure that wasn’t necessary at this time. And I had a great experience with Lynette, who was the dental hygienist who did my teeth cleaning.Very communicative and careful. I would absolutely recommend this office for your dental needs.

I have been going to Dr Andrew for 2 years or so. Both of his hygienist, dental assistant Peaches and he is wonderful. He is very through and personable enough to be able to discuss many things and he is gentle with the surgery. I, in fact was not in pain at all during my periodontal deep cleaning as well as tooth extraction. This is an update*** I have been coming to Dr. Andrews for now over 5 years and I will be getting more service from him. As of 2/14/2019 the regular office manager is on maternity leave so there was a bit of time spent to get some of the administrative things at his office but I feel that I can trust him with my dental needs. I recommend him!! 5/11/2019 I had gone to his hygienist last week and she was so through and kind and also gentle and caring. I feel that the cleaning at Dr Satlin’s office feels much more thorough and more valuable to my dental health than other places.

Dr. Satlin and his office staff are incredibly kind, thoughtful and accommodating. I trusted Dr. Satlin with a mouth surgery that I needed done and he did such a wonderful job. He and his staff also did a great job at following up to make sure I was happy and healing well. I would highly recommend!

Dr. Saitlin and his staff are just the best!!!! I go to Dr. Saitlin because he uses Laser technology instead of surgery to handle your difficult gum issues. It is less invasive and gives you a quicker healing time. He is terrific. His Periodontal Staff is very, very, professional. I see Anita and she is the most thorough Hygienist I’ve ever had. It is a workout, but your gums and teeth are happier for it!!! I am really happy and satisfied at Dr. Saitlin’s office and would recommend him to anyone who has had any difficulty with their gums and need a thorough teeth cleaning. They are #1 in my book!!

The office is clean and neat. The equipment is updated. Dr. Satlin is honest, thoughtful and patient and his assistant, Peaches, is very kind and gentle! They were always making sure I was feeling well during the procedure. Thank you for your care and professionalism!

I got referred to Dr. Andrew Satlin because I had issues with my gums. I had been looking around for a periodontist for quite some time. The experience from A to Z was 5 stars and the nicest assistant, Peaches put me at ease during both procedures. Clearly these two are passionate about their work.  They are caring. The Dr. explained the procedures and why he needed to do it. The icing on the cake is he followed up to make sure I was doing great! Outstanding work and I’m very thankful to them for helping me. You don’t usually think of a dental visit as pleasant but my visit there was! Peaches immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable and acted as if so was the only patient she had to care for. Of course, I was not. Dr. Satlin is a skilled clinician who clearly explains the problem and the best solution. He worked quickly and professionally and even called later that evening to see how I was! I have more work to be done and am looking forward to it. See you guys in two weeks!! Nancy.

I found this office through an online review so I’m paying it forward. Great office. I came here concerned w gum recession and not sure which teeth needed a grafting surgery, and Dr. Satlin was very laid back in his recommendations, not predicting death and doom if I didn’t want to follow his recommendations. Peaches is so nice and gentle and Dr. Satlin is not at all pushy, which I really appreciate. I felt confident in the treatment I chose. I got my surgery the day before the office closed due to the COVID pandemic, and Dr. Satlin w very accessible via text on his cell phone and promptly answered any questions or concerns I had. Peaches even let me come in while the office was closed to take my stitches out when the didn’t dissolve as quickly as expected and were driving me crazy. Highly recommend.

Dr. Satlin is both professional and a gem of human being – he is skilled of course, but it’s his “bedside” manner that I so appreciate. He is available, caring, a real human being.  His office staff is great, both Peaches and Anita are amazing, but again, it’s the care that I feel every time I go to the office that is hard to find. If you are looking for a periodontist, this is the man!
