I have a long history of avoiding Dentists until the very end of a tooth due to my teeth roots are exceptionally long which makes the work difficult for the dentists, and this has resulted in shoddy work and lots of pain. Also, several dentists in the past have overcharged, or pushed unnecessary root canals and crowns at high prices which would fail as the tooth was never able to be saved. Dr. Kang, and the team at Appletree Dental, have been amazing!! Dr. Kang not only removed a cracked and, unknown to me, infected root canal, (failed twice in the first 4 months), which never should have been done. Dr. Kang says, “I do not practice heroic dentistry. I do what works.” Dr. Kang filled 8 cavities (yeah, I know!), deep cleaned under my gums, and grafted bone to my jaw for an implant. He never started any work without my confirming I was completely numb in the area, and he stopped so many times without complaining when I would ask for a break (I have really bad TMJ). He even noticed and filled a pinpoint cavity the x-rays missed while he was working on another tooth!! He knows his craft, and is highly skilled. Appletree Dental was able to get everything but the implant covered under my insurance, but they charged me such a low price it was CHEAPER than the root canal and crown I originally had!! They work with you on your appointment times, and they have great communication, both by phone and text. Thank you, Dr. Kang and Appletree Dental!!

This was my first time coming to AppleTree Dental and I felt welcomed the atmosphere was professional, clean, they have a side with refreshments and they had a TV playing a cartoon movies for your kids while you wait. The doctor was very nice and very intelligent in dentistry. They’re very gentle when they do x-rays the deep cleaning left my teeth looking very white and clean. The receptionist guy was a little sarcastic but overall a great dentist location in office.

I was super nervous because this was my very first visit to a dentist but the staff was super friendly and gentle. While taking my x-rays I was constantly asked if I felt uncomfortable. This was the best dentist experience I’ve ever had. Liz is the first smiling face you see when you walk through the doors. She is very pleasant. And doctor Mike is awesome. He explains everything as he’s working, which helps you to understand what’s going on as he’s working. All the employees are very nice. Nice new and up to date equipment. Huge screen on every wall if you would like to watch something while you’re waiting to be seen. If you are afraid of the dentist come here. They will take away all your fears. And they will help you anyway they can to make you feel at ease.

My husband went to this place for some dental care .. so when he came home he was really happy so I asked him about this dental office..!!? He said finally I got the service I really need and the Dentist I was looking for.. for long time.. so right away I called for appointment I went there .. Super glad I came to Appletree for my dental needs. Doctor Kang is really friendly and tells funny dad jokes, yet professional and informative. Liz at the front desk is very welcoming, knows every customer by name, and makes waiting time less boring. They have a Keurig and Hulu connected in every room so you can sip on coffee and watch TV while waiting for a family member. They also have magazines if you prefer. My son needed a dentist, and this one had just opened up right around the corner from his house. He has had several procedures including fillings and root canal, and he said he never had any pain at all. I’ve been meaning to write this review, but even just getting it to it now I still feel the same way about this place, it’s the best! I first came here in January in desperate need of a root canal, and I’m glad I got it done here! Dr. Kang is one of the best dentists I’ve ever visited, and made the procedure easy and I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. The place itself is nice and clean, and all of the staff I encountered was friendly. Everyone even cared enough to remember little facts about me from previous conversations. You can tell that everyone here, especially Dr. Kang, cares about their patients.

Since I am the first one to leave a review, I’ll have to rate AppleTree Dental with 5 stars because as a patient you want to be welcomed and treated well.. that is exactly what you will get when you go. I personally know Dr. Kang and he is so far the greatest! The assistants are very nice and friendly! I’m currently in the process to get braces so I had to get one of my wisdom teeth out today and I’m actually feeling great because Dr. Kang won’t start the procedure until you are feeling comfortable and numb so you got nothing to worry about if you end up doing the same. Overall, this place is the best so far!
