Dr. DiNapoli is a great dentist. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He only sees you rather than running from one room to another, and gives you his undivided attention. Their fees are very reasonable as well. I’ve had a number of different procedures done by him all of which were excellent.

Though I have cared for my teeth daily and was cared for meticulously through my early thirties by many a dentist, for the past twenty years I hadn’t seen a dentist but once at a free exam offer by one of the local chains. They estimated a cost of $15,000 to repair my teeth and I chuckled and walked out perplexed at what to do with a mouthful of broken teeth at 59 years old. Dental care is expensive and I have been self employed for the past twenty three years. I was very lucky to get basic dental insurance because of President Obama’s Health Care Act. I searched for a local West Roxbury dentist. There were three choices in West Roxbury, one I rejected because they farmed out complicated work, another I forget why, and with luck stumbled into the third. By good fortune I encountered the kindest, gentlest, most loving dentist’s office one could imagine. In my early years I had seen many clunkers, let me tell you. Dr. Arian DiNapoli, with his family as receptionists, and skilled professional dental assistant Anna at his side have a small office at 1996 Centre St., Suite 201, West Roxbury, Ma. 617-323-4444. He works in the afternoons into the evening. One walks into his office, an environment filled with most extraordinarily relaxing music, almost hypnotic (I’m a psychologist by training), like “nothing bad could ever happen in here”. Ari is not just a dentist, but an endodontic surgeon too, highly trained and capable of performing the most complicated work – crowns, bridges, and implants, using the latest techniques, all without “farming” them out to some other person and place. His personality is that of, well, an absolute angel, and his assistants are gentle and friendly. Note I needed a load of work done and was so scared that my teeth had fallen into such disrepair that I would soon need dentures. I needed an extraction, extensive repairs to 2 and 4 cusp molars that had cracked, old fillings that had broken off or sunken because the cusps that supported them had rotted or broken, and a root canal. Seven teeth in all needed serious attention,. The root canal was not covered by insurance, but Ari made me a deal I could afford. The work was systematically done over the Spring, week by week and in the shortest order my teeth were transformed back to my early twenties – solid chewing machine, “like a rock” as the Chevy commercial used to say. Dr. DiNapoli went as far as to text me on my cell several times in the evening to make sure everything was as expected both pre and post appointments, and to see how I was doing, as a friend would do, not simply a detached doctor. I look forward to knowing him as my dentist for a long time. I have experienced none better in the nearly 60 years I have been on this earth. They are the most friendly practice I’ve ever been to, they genuinely care about your health and well being :). I have my wedding in a week and wasn’t 100% confident with my smile, He has seriously performed a miracle on my teeth! My wedding will be the perfect celebration to show off my amazing new smile! He is amazing!!!!!!!! I cannot say enough good about this place, its a must try if your looking for a new dentist and a permanent one! I have been a patient of Dr. Ari for a few years. I find it comfortable as one can be at a dentist. I don’t have extra work done. I find the music and his shirts fine. Ari Family Dental is fantastic. I am not a fan of dentists as many of us aren’t. However, Ari Family Dental makes you feel at home as soon as you walk in the door. The assistants are excellent and very calm which makes the patient feel at ease. Dr. DiNapoli has great chairside manners, gives you all the time you need to speak with him, and pretty much does all actual procedures himself. The office is in a great location, accessible to the T, street parking, clean office, and a peaceful environment. I had a wonderful first visit, and now I can say I do not mind going to the dentist. This family dentist is the best! The dentist, his wife, and staff are super friendly and welcoming. I have 4 kids and we all have been going to Ari Family Dental for over 9 years. From the moment I entered reception I felt I made the right choice and I was 100% correct. The office is immaculate, beautifully decorated, lovely receptionist, excellent dental technician Anna. Dr. DiNapoli explained everything to me in detail. What I would need and why. He took the time to go through the x-rays with me one by one. Truly he was the most gentle dentist, I felt as if I was in a spa while he was cleaning my teeth! If you need a new dentist this is the practice to go to! I would not smile because of my teeth I would be in pain and rather take over the counter pain medication and water and salt not to go to the dentist. I was scared and embarrassed of my teeth it was so bad I couldn’t take the pain anymore and the complex. I live in Roslindale I Googled some dentist in the area and called Ari family Dental. When I called and made a appointment I wasn’t sure I will go to the appointment but the pain so bad. When I arrived they were so nice and I said I’m embarrassed and they said don’t be your in the right place. Wow they wasn’t lying they made me feel confident I couldn’t believe I had 3 extraction’s and a amazing cleaning and my front teeth were uneven I wouldn’t smile and yesterday I got my teeth bonded wao I went to work and couldn’t stop smiling. I never though in the 39 years I have I would actually like the dentist I wish I could of exsperinced this a long time ago I would of had a mouth full of teeth. But like they said it’s not to late. I highly recommend this dental office to anyone who feels afraid or are embarrassed or just want a great Dental place. Especially for kids who are afraid. Gentle, painless dentistry with relaxing hypnotic music playing in the background. This is a quiet family practice with only one doctor and assistant, and therefore NO busy waiting room and NO sounds of other patients being worked on simultaneously. I have had three visits with Dr. DiNapoli for a cleaning, some fillings, and repair of some older dental work. I chose this practice because they accept Mass Health and are in my neighborhood…But I am staying with this practice because Dr. DiNapoli is very careful and precise. He gives the most painless and gentle novocaine shots I have ever had. Honestly, during one visit, while he was drilling, filling and bonding my teeth, I actually began to fall asleep in the chair! Not kidding!! He really takes the time to make sure you are comfortable and satisfied with his work. I can’t say I am looking forward to my root-canal work next month, but almost!!

Dr. Dinapoli changed my life in one appointment. For those of you who may think I am being overdramatic, fortunately you did not see my teeth upon walking into his office… I stopped leaving the house due to my horrible teeth. Because my upper front teeth were so awful, I stopped smiling. My 2 year old would point at my teeth when I did let my guard down and smile at her, and say ” dirty mama’s teeth “. I am writing this review with tears of happiness pouring down my face because I get to go home to my daughter and give her the biggest smile I can muster… Dr. Dinapoli gave me this gift. This is a very unique dental office in the sense that the dentist only sees one patient at a time and doesn’t rush from one patient to the other. It makes you feel very special and comfortable as a patient knowing that he only has you in mind while working on your teeth. I found Dr. DiNapoli when I was in severe pain and in need of a root canal. I called and saw him the same day. He explained all of the xrays which he took in a very comprehensible manner for some one who has no dental knowledge. He then rearranged his schedule so that I could be seen the next day for a root canal. The root canal went very smoothly and Dr. DiNapoli was thorough and careful. I just had my third visit with him today where he did some fillings. Again I felt that he has careful and thorough. I had some areas in the front of my teeth which I was unhappy with and my smile looks beautiful after one visit! As some one who has some dental anxiety I am very comfortable with Dr.DiNapoli and his assistant. I am recommending him to friends and family and plan to bring my son to his office soon!

I had an accident where I lost one of my front teeth. I never went thought this before and there’s not worst feeling than not been able to smile. I went to this clinic and since the first moment they were great over the phone and in person. They treat you like a family and try to make you feel good. The Dr. understood my emergency and squeezed me in his schedule. The service was excellent. It looks natural and it feel normal like if I never lost my teeth. I found this dentist through a program which brings dental care to BPS students in school. I brought my rather sensitive 5 year old to him for fillings, which he carried out with not a peep from my daughter. He let her pick a treat from the treasure box after each tooth was done. It was entirely stress free. Next I brought him a friend who was in great pain and needed a tooth pulled. He was seen in no time at all and cared for very gently. Now I am a patient and cannot be more pleased. His practice is truly a family practice, with his wife manning the front desk. He is gentle and conscientious as a clinician.
