I was referred to Dr.Torbati by a good friend who knew I wasn’t happy with the past dental implant work I have had done. Facing a much more extensive procedure this time, I decided to change dentists, rather than take a chance of the prior dentist ruining what was left of my gums. I could not be happier with Dr. Torbati & his staff. I had a very complicated situation and after having a broken tooth root removed and 2 dental implant posts put in, I was expecting a fair amount of discomfort. That never happened, in fact, I am in less pain than all three of my other implants I had done in past. He’s extremely careful, teaches at USC and has tons of patience with anxiety-ridden patients. The added bonus is that he uses a wand to give the numbing material and it did not hurt at all, unlike every other traumatic dental experience I’ve had in the past. I am very happy to at last found a dentist who can handle the worst situation and provide nearly painless work for his patients. I will never ever go to another dentist but Dr. Torbati 🙂

I had multiple problems and treatments since the age of 3 (I am 45 now) and nothing had ever compare with Dr. Torbati. Thank God I found him in my life. He had fixed all the bad works other dentists did to me before and he had taught me tricks for good daily bucal hygiene. After that, I never had a problem or a cavity again. He is excellent with aesthetics and he would never over charge you or do anything that is not really needed. My implants, crowns, fillings… are all great after many years. There are things in life that are priceless… for me one of them is Dr. Torbati.

I highly recommend Dr. Torbati. I went to him after seeing a few dentists for an implant consultation. I was extremely concern and in a way confused about the whole thing. He explained everything to me in details. My tooth was removed and they placed an implant right away. The beauty of this whole implant thing is that I got a fake tooth right away which I couldn’t even tell it apart from my real tooth. I was so afraid of having the surgery in case of any complications, but he really did some magic. I did not feel a thing. I am very happy with the result and will definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking to get implants because he is simply the best. Thank you 🙂

Dr. Torbati is genuinely passionate about his work. If there were more people like him we would definitely have a better world. I’ve had many problems with my teeth for as far as I can remember. Most of my teeth have crowns and some of them have been changed two or three times. I wrote this because I’m an expert patient and have been through many dentists!! But Dr. Torbati has been my dentist for more than a year and I wish I knew him sooner. “I love my Dentist! He is great! If you need some work, like crowns, etc., this is your man. Dr. Torbati is extremely well mannered and talented. I had my share of dentists and I can tell you, he is the BEST. His office is located on a busy mall like structure but rather good looking once you are inside. The treatment rooms face Century City, the view is very nice. His prices are not cheap, but trust me…….he is worth it all the way. All I can say is he is crafty, talented, fast and his assistant is very quiet but compassionate and kind. I give him 5 stars because I am demanding when it comes to dental care or health care. Also they validate parking and they have Valet Parking for those of us who can’t park in small spaces. 🙂 If you are a big chicken about anesthesia, you will not feel this needle……I know it sounds horrible…..but trust me you will not feel this needless and you will not feel the drilling either………. I know, sorry about that impression. Ok I hope this to be really helpful. Yes, he does take insurance, although most plans have restricted funds. Bring your credit card or check book when you come but by all means if you need someone sharp, go to HIM.

After my dentist retired, I hopped around many professionals who I was unhappy with, to say the least. When it became apparent I needed an implant, I asked my friend Nick for a referral to a dentist specializing in implants. Nick is a DDS and at the time was doing his residency in Prosthodontics at USC. He referred me to Dr. Torbati who apparently also teaches at USC (that was a big deal, I thought)!!! Well, long story short – after a fantastic implant and a lot of personal attention, I can’t thank the Torbati team enough! They are great! And they even put up with my obnoxious personality!!! I’ve chosen Dr. Torbati as my go-to dentist; I know I am in good hands there! Oh, and parking – validated! Good stuff!!!

This review has been long overdue. I came to him almost 2 years ago with a host of problems created by prior dentists. Having had bad experiences with various dentists and specialists (one orthodontist wanted to surgically remove implants and do gum crafting when not needed). Dr. Torbati analyzed the situation and worked with me to come up with the best solution for my problems. He is extremely knowledgeable and very experienced and takes his time to do an amazing job. This is a rarity in LA and I have been to many dentists here who created a host of problems with sloppy work to make a quick buck. I appreciate his kindness, patience, professionalism and most of all his honesty to save your teeth. All of his procedures have been completely pain free. He has a lab on site to do custom crown fittings. Being a prosthodontist he has special training to deal with more complicated cases. You will be in great hands with him!

One of the first things you notice when you walk in was how friendly and polite Johanna and Naz are. They were able to answer all my questions and concerns before meeting Dr. Torbati. I was always skeptical about utilizing another dentist, since I had been seeing the same dentist since I was a child. Unfortunately, I needed a wisdom tooth removed and my dentist could not perform the procedure. After researching, I came across Dr. Torbati here on Yelp. I decided to give it a go and I couldn’t have been happier with my selection. He was very patient with me (even when I had anxiety issues). He explained everything to me in incredible detail as he was performing the work, and performed it carefully in a reasonable timeframe. I was pain free the very next day (keep in mind that I had TWO wisdom teeth pulled). I healed wonderfully and I now wish to make him my dentist of choice. I HIGHLY recommend his work. The receptionist is incredibly nice, I had never encountered a friendlier receptionist (if receptionists were as friendly as she was, I wouldn’t mind doing business on a regular basis!). Dr. Torbati is a top professional in his field who is direct, thorough, patient and utterly reliable. He has provided my family with the full range of services from standard cleaning care to complex procedures involving caps, extractions and mandibular problems involving TMJ. When my 94 year old father needed to be seen, Dr. Torbati treated him with such respect and care, that even my opinionated dad became a convert. He is also a teaching professor at the USC School of Dentistry, so he is updated with modern dentistry techniques and philosophies. His office is bright and open and is pleasantly low key. If you dread going to the dentist, or have been putting off a procedure because you hate going to your dentist…..then try Arman Torbati. He’s a game changer.

My brother and I are both patients of Dr. Torbati and I gotta say we are both very satisfied patients. It took me a lot of convincing to start my normal cleaning and exam routines but after doing some research on him and asking a friend that referred me to him I felt like I would be in good hands. I did need to get a filling done but I wasn’t to happy with the idea of getting numb due to horrible experiences with dentist in the past, but Dr. Torbati promised I wouldn’t feel pain at all. He must have a trick onto getting you numb and not feeling the needle because I didn’t realize he had injected me til i felt numb lol. Dr. Torbati is a specialist so his work is very good quality. He was very honest with me, explained with details what I needed, turns out i didn’t need a crown or a root canal from what I was told with my previous dentist. Very nice office, Free Parking and friendly staff. Over all I would highly recommend him to friends, family or anyone browsing around for a good dentist.

I’ve been Dr. Torbati’s patient since 2003, when I had a daunting amount of work to be done, including eleven crowns, a bridge, and thirty fillings. He managed not only to provide a well reasoned and timed treatment program but also a price that was very competitive with my previous dentist. The method in which he and his staff plan and execute procedures have gotten me through very complex issues with short visits and virtually no pain. I have been to 7 different dentists who completely messed up my teeth before finding Dr. Torbati! I can’t say enough good things about him, his staff, his work and his dedication to his patients. From the moment I sat down in the dental chair for the first time to the minute I walked out, I felt taken care of. Dr. Torbat explained EVERYTHING in detail, took his time to make sure I understood the procedure, and offered a time line for what needed to be done. He has high attention to detail and is very thorough!!! Most of all, i never felt any pain!!! Will be using him for life! A few things I found to be exceptional 1. He doesn’t use the standard Syringe for numbing, he uses the Wand which is not at all painful 2. His staff is extremely friendly and on top of things 3. He takes a conservative approach to dental care and doesn’t just want to offer useless procedures to make a buck 4. I went for a dental cleaning which was done by Dr. Torbati himself rather than a dental hygienist. He consulted regarding my teeth, gums, etc. and did not try to up-sale. I was referred to Dr. Torbati by a friend after multiple bad experiences with another dentist. I was at the point of, I don’t want any more dentistry ever before my initial meeting with the Doctor. Here’s how my first visit went: The office was beautiful, easy to park at, and the staff was friendly. My checkup was held in a sunny, windowed covered room with a magnificent view of a pretty west LA neighborhood. That put me in a good mood, I was in an even better mood after my check up revealed that the persistent toothache I had didn’t require any major surgery (no root canal!!!!) but rather, some deep cleaning to remove plaque buildup. The pain resided a day or two after the cleaning and hasn’t returned. Now I have regular cleaning done every six months. I have since trusted Dr. Torbati with Invisalign and he did a great job walking me through the steps, explaining everything and not overcharging me for the service. It was kind of a pain in the neck to wear them everyday, but now I only wear them at night and my teeth are perfectly straight. It’s a great feeling to feel fully confident in my smile Dr. Torbati is a great dentist, and I recommend him to all of my So Cal friends and family members who ask me for advice on the matter.

There is a reason why this Dentist has a consistent 5 star review! He is truly VERY GOOD at what he does. His staff and Naz are very friendly and to say the least I was frantic when I called them. Dr. Torbati was the ultimate calm professional. I happen to have had a very complicated situation with a failed bridge work and he gave me the proper diagnosis and I had to keep seeing him to recement the bridge on a temporary basis until I have my sinuses cleared up. I have a long road ahead of me for when I get my sinuses cleared up to start my implants, because I had a complicated issue that I have to deal with first, but Dr. Torbati was 100% correct on my sinus issue and my bridge was a lost cause and he was honest about that too. Thank God for honest Dentists like him. Not to mention an amazing Prosthodontist and not to mention a nice man. Thank you Dr. Tourbati for all your help so far. You dropped everything when I needed you for urgent help. THANK YOU!!
