What a great, caring dental office! There is no reason to fear doing to the dentist anymore. Dr Pak & Dr Vowell are very professional while being very friendly & compassionate. I usually HATE going to the dentist, but Dr. Pak is such an amazing dentist, I don’t mind visiting Arsley Family Dentistry. The dental hygienists are always SO nice and welcoming, and I am amazed at how the entire staff knows me by name, welcomes me by name, and remembers me and my entire family. It makes me feel a whole lot better about my least favorite doctors visit to know that the Arsley Family Dentistry group is such an amazing group of people. I feel that I need to share this with anyone out there seeking to find a good trusted Dentist for you and/or your family. I had an emergency situation with a chipped tooth late afternoon Thursday. I got up early a.m. Friday trying to get an appointment and what I discovered was most Dental offices are closed on Friday and if not they are very reluctant to schedule an appointment. What I had was an emergency and when I reached out and plead for an appointment with anyone I talked to, as stated, many were closed, just as many were rude and totally inconsiderate to my situation. When I finally got lucky and happened to call this Dentistry (which was a miracle) after briefly explaining the urgency of my situation they were very concerned, extremely compassionate and the lady asked me if I could get there within the hour and of course I did. The Dentist that took care of me was Dr Katherine Pak, this lady was a God send, she was what I considered a real life angel, someone who made a difference and restored my faith in human kind. This Dr performed a miracle, was very artistic and creative and she saved my weekend. I can’t believe how she did what she did with so little to work with, a very tight time schedule on a Friday when the office is getting ready to close. The staff was very attentive, I was greeted right away and felt very welcomed. The other Dentist, Dr Elaine Vowell made a point to come back and say hello and introduce herself. I didn’t mean for this to be such a long review but I felt compelled to share this message. I would highly recommend this group to anyone seeking a Dentist that’s still human and treats you like you are. This Dr was very personable and incredibly talented working well under such pressure. It takes a lot of artistic technique, patience, and desire to do this work. I could tell this Dentist loved her job and was there for me when it was time to meet challenge of this urgency. She managed to turn what was a nightmare for me into a very pleasant experience. I think after talking to so many rude inconsiderate people trying to get help, it really made me appreciate my situation and this Dental group so much more. I hope everyone has a great weekend! Once again, a loud shout out to this group, they sure saved me and my weekend! 🙂

This is a GREAT group! I have been with them for years- since Dr Pak started. I am always pleased with everything. They are very professional, thorough, and I never feel like they ever make suggestions that aren’t truly needed. Let me start this by saying that like many of us out there, I am incredibly afraid of the dental office in general. I put off going to the dentist like it is the plaque and I want nothing to do with it. I was so nervous before my appointment, that I almost cancelled it. This office provides a notification by mail about what to expect with your first visit and starts to ease this tension ahead of time and set the correct expectation for this initial visit, which is by far the most comprehensive and thought out dental exam I have ever experienced. As soon as I walked into the AFD office on the day of the appointment I was immediately put at ease by an amazingly friendly lady at the lobby desk that was full of smiles that made the experience so much easier. After being checked in and having my insurance information obtained, I was seated no more than 3 minutes and I was taken back to start the visit by another smiling and beautiful face (Chelsea I believe)!!!! She explained the consultation process as far as x-rays, pictures, initial examining is concerned. When Dr. Pak came into the exam room she made me more comfortable than I have ever been with a healthcare provider. Kudos Dr. Pak. The way she explained each step as we went was absolutely priceless. What a wonderful disposition she has as a dentist. Intelligent and thoughtful are two of the best words to describe this woman. After my exam, Tammy went through my suggested treatment plan and provided me details as to what my insurance would cover and what my next steps would need to be, she also went through a slideshow of pictures of my mouth to show me my areas of greatest concern. This was of great value and added to my wonderful experience. I now know EXACTLY what treatment that I need and I can’t wait to move forward. I would recommend this dental practitioner to anyone who asked me for my opinion and would do so without ANY hesitation. THIS TEAM IS BY FAR THE BEST DENTAL TEAM IN THE CITY!!! DO NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER; THIS IS YOUR FUTURE DENTIST! PERIOD!!!

I’ve been going to Ayrsley Family Dentistry for almost a decade now with my children and it is truly a family. From the time you walk in and see Emily to the time you leave everyone is super friendly and professional! I LOVE Dr Pak who has always been great with me and my children. My usual hygienist has retired and today I had to see someone new- Ashley. I absolutely hate x rays, but today it was fine and Ashley actually made me laugh. She also did a great job on my cleaning and didn’t hurt me not one time. Thanks to the whole staff, you’re the BEST!

This was my first/introductory visit at AFD and I was impressed by everything from the cleanliness of the facility, followed by the multi-step assessment process, and on to the consultation phase. I have been through many dentist on-boarding processes, and this was by far the most thorough. I left with a very clear idea of the current status of my teeth, an understanding of urgent versus longer-term care priorities, and very detailed cost information based on my insurance coverage. I can’t say that I got particularly good news on the status of my teeth and mouth, but Dr. Pak seems to be VERY ENTHUSIASTIC about helping me restore me to my rightful glory, so I am looking forward to the next steps…

The BEST dentist! I moved here from Greenville, SC and was looking for a dentist in the area. I am very particular (about everything) and when it comes to my health, I need to find the right person. I am extremely loyal to my people because it’s hard finding someone good. Finding a new dentist is as particular to me as finding a new gynecologist. Today I had to say goodbye to one of my childhood silver fillings due to it leaking and my tooth starting to fracture. I have to say I haven’t had any dental treatment besides routine cleanings in about a decade. But Dr. Pak and her wonderful assistant Christina made me at ease. The shot was painless, I didn’t feel a thing! The procedure was quick and efficient. Dr. Pak and Christina work very well together kinda like peanut butter and jelly! Dr. Pak can neverrrrrr leave the Charlotte area :). The only exception is if she goes to Wakanda and bring back vibranium. Dr. Pak and her entire staff are wonderful. They are very personable, and always make sure you are comfortable while visiting (offering a blanket, or cup of water)! I’ve been a patient for over 10 years, and have always received excellent service and thorough care. They have always been very courteous, both over the phone and in person! I recently had to reschedule an appointment that required x-rays, exam, and cleaning due to a work conflict. I received their automated appointment reminder email, which allowed me to submit a request to reschedule. Emily called me the following day, was very understanding and flexible, and rescheduled my appointment with my same hygienist for later in the month. I’d like to specifically mention Peggy, my hygienist who always takes great care of me during each appointment! Ayrsley Family Dentistry’s location is convenient and their hours work great for my busy schedule. I also love how they allow the patients to participate in some of their work activities, such as voting for the best decorated pumpkin at Halloween! I’ve never had a bad experience, and always recommend them to all of my colleagues and friends. Dr. Pak and her team actually make me look forward to going to the dentist!

This dentist was recommended by a coworker & let me tell you, it’s by far the best referral i’ve ever rec’d. My previous dentist was rude & seemed only interested in getting as much out of my insurance as possible, not to mention, there were several issues he never informed me of when Dr. Pak informed me within the very first visit!! Since a drilling mishap with my very first dentist years ago, i have always had anxiety going to the dentist. She is professional, pleasant and always makes the patient feel important by going above & beyond. Dr. Katherine Pak is without question, the most professional, accommodating, and caring Dentist that has treated my dental needs. I have MAJOR anxiety when hearing a drill. However, Dr. Pak is compassionate and patient with my anxiety. Dr. Pak does everything to ensure the patient is comfortable; even something as small as applying Chap Stick to dry lips when doing dental work. The office provides plush blankets if you are cold, sunglasses for the bright light and cushioned ear buds ($2.00) if you forgot to bring any to the appointment. Additionally, they are excellent about sending text/email or phone reminders for appointments. Dr. Pak and staff at Ayrsley Family Dentistry are hands down the best office that has treated my dental needs. This Dentist Office is AMAZING!! I was having an issue with a Crown and they got me in asap. When I arrived I had no wait, they took me back as scheduled. Love this dental office! You will not be disappointed. Dr. Pak and Vowell are very professional, compassionate physicians. The entire team makes you feel right at home. My dental hygienist, Peggy, always makes sure I’m comfortable with a blanket and protective eye wear. She quickly gets me through the cleaning, and is such a wonderful teacher on the best way to care for your teeth and gums. I love how she adds Vaseline to my lips afterwards too. I once told Dr. Pak how I can’t stand the sound of the drill when getting a cavity filled, so she offered her smart phone along with free ear pods, so I could listen to Pandora while she filled my cavity. She knows just what I need to calm my anxiety. Love, love, love this group of ladies. Top notch and so thankful they’re close to home. 🙂

My son and I have been with them for a year or more. And I must admit. I’m very happy.. They’re easy to book.. Dr. Pak is very easy to talk too.. Her conversations are light and funny. She would hides the needles so I won’t see before she numbs me up which I find it tickling.. Dr. Pak steps in after Dr. McNeight went on maternity and overall they seem to work really well rather. My son never complains.. Unlike Young and Polite where he originally comes from.. Our wait is never long in the waiting room. Each patients have their own room and privacy. Not an open space.. It’s all female staffs, which is a very big deal for me.. I never really enjoy going to the dentist but I must admit, I don’t mind coming here at all. I will continue to be their patient as long as everything stays the same!

This was my first visit in 3 years and that is because I lost my insurance when I was laid off from my job but when I got the ball rolling again I made sure to get dental insurance that was going to be in network with this office because I always knew I wanted to come back here and today’s visit assured me of why!!
