I was referred Benjamin by a colleague and I am so grateful to find him as I throughly recommend his dental surgery. I had a wisdom tooth problem and required an emergency appointment so called early the next morning, The practice manager (Grace) responded to me and found me an almost immediate appointment whilst understanding the pain I was in. – what a gem. Benjamin was kind, professional and caring and talked me through my options. He continually explained the procedures, what he was going to do next, and all of the technical aspects. He was fast, efficient and didn’t waste a moment of my time trying to garner more dental work – he is 100% legitimate and an example to the dental profession in NYC. Benjamin has an amazing personality, brings his whole self to work and his team are courteous, efficient and empathetic. This is my dental surgery from now on!

Dr. Medina is truly the BEST DENTIST EVER! He is smart, funny, painless, patient and easy going. If you have any dental fears whatsoever, he will help you conquer them. He managed to talk me into having a wisdom tooth removed without going under (a first for me!) and even the massive novacaine needle and shot didn’t hurt! I don’t know how he does it, but this dentist is one of a kind.

I was visiting NYC as a tourist and had extreme wisdom tooth pain. I called and was able to get an appointment promptly. When I arrived I was greeted by a professional, kind and courteous Dr. Medina and staff. He explained everything to me and made me feel less anxious with his professional and bubbly demeanour. The extraction process was over shortly, his attention to detail and calm verbal engagement with me was a huge relief from the excruciating pain. It was hands down the best dental service I have experienced and this has compelled me to hold Dr. Medina in the highest of regards. I will be recommending him to my friends even here in England

I really hate going to the dentist. The sounds, the dry lips, the sore jaw, potential pain… I hate it all! Dr. Medina really puts my mind at ease. He works quickly and gently and always makes sure I’m comfortable. He is extremely kind and personable, cracking jokes and telling me stories but keep me distracted and preoccupied. Dr. Medina also meticulous and conservative, suggesting least invasive procedures but effective options unless it is absolutely necessary. Dr. Medina doesn’t just clean your teeth or fill your cavities, he makes them look like they are a part of your teeth so no one will ever know that you had work done on them. I’ve been seeing Dr. Medina since 2015 but when he moved his office further uptown last year (even further away from me), I made the mistake of going to a new dentist closer to me. As soon as I stepped into that new office, I knew I’d be going back to Dr. Medina even if it is a trek. I’m telling you, he’s the best! As long as I am in the city, I know I won’t be going to any other dentist. I should also note, everyone that works in his office is the sweetest as well!

I am a touring musician and have been traveling constantly for at least 50% of the last 16 years and I have been to many hospitals, Drs and Dentists around the globe. I feel very blessed to have found Dr Medina and to have him in my life now. His bedside manner is unparalleled and its just an absolute pleasure hanging with him. I really feel like i’m going to hang out with one of my friends who just happens to be an amazing dentist. in the short time I’ve been with him he has removed all 4 of my wisdom teeth and we are in the middle of replacing my old metal fillings and I literally could cry every time he finishes working on me and I see what he’s done in the mirror. he is fulfilling a life long dream of mine to have a nicer smile and I’m confident that I couldn’t feel like i was in better hands anywhere else. I’ve been going to see Dr Medina since 2007. I’ve had a handful of old fillings replaced, and more cleanings than I can count. When I first visited, I dreaded going to the dentist. But the doctor was very patient, friendly and fast! He explained every procedure and even went above and beyond by applying a topical anesthetic to help with my gum sensitivity. He makes going to the dentist easy and painless. I’ve recommended him to friends and co-workers who are still his patients today. And even though I moved from NY to Florida in 2013, I STILL see Dr Medina once a year (even though it really should be twice). He’s worth it!

Dr. Medina is a great dentist. I went in with a lot of questions and just wanted a consultation about where I should go with my teeth. I was previously a patient at a large dental group and became frustrated with the impersonal level of service. I was referred to Dr. Medina by a friend who has been a longtime patient. I am very pleased with the level of service and professionalism demonstrated by Dr. Medina’s dental practice. Dr. Medina performs all services and procedures, cleanings, fillings etc. He is very attentive and accessible, even taking me in his office on a Saturday for pain I was experiencing from a gum-related issue. I also recently began an Invisalign treatment with Dr. Medina to deal with crowded teeth and an overbite. I put off getting conventional braces for years but decided to proceed with Invisalign with Dr. Medina based on the trust and confidence I’ve developed in his skill and competence; he really cares about his patients’ well-being!

I have been visiting Doctor Medina for 10 years and have been very satisfied with the quality of service. In addition to regular check-ups, Doctor Medina performed cosmetic procedures with excellent results. Dr Medina is the best! I’ve been seeing him routinely for a while now – twice yearly for a checkup and cleaning – and I just had some cosmetic composite bonding work replaced, which I am SO happy with. He is super patient, gentle, and always makes you feel relaxed as he chats and tells you stories throughout! And I haven’t had a late appointment yet! I visited a couple of times throughout Covid and the protocols were good – social distancing, mask wearing, hand sanitizing etc. Everything you would expect was in place. Dr. Medina has been my dentist for 6 years and I have to say he’s one of the best! From the first day I stepped in his office he made me feel so comfortable and well cared for. His demeanor as well as the staffs is always warm and pleasant. I’ve referred quite a few people to Dr. Medina and they all had great experiences as well. You never have to wait, you’re treated like a friend, and the work is top-notch. He’ll be straight with you about what’s a priority and what can wait; he’ll be flexible about payment; he’ll talk to you like a human being, and take the time to explain what’s what in words a non-specialist can understand. I think of Dr. Medina as a gift from the cosmos after God only knows how many sub-par operators, both in terms of skill and bedside manner. He was extremely attentive throughout the appointment — resolving my questions and concerns, while also offering a good deal of extra information particular to my situation. In the past, I’ve felt like dentists were trying to upsell me on things like unnecessary fillings. With Dr. Medina, it was the exact opposite. He discussed exactly what was covered by my plan, didn’t try to tack on anything additional, and even advised against an expensive jaw surgery another dentist had suggested. In summary Dr Medina is warm, conversational, and trustworthy. I will definitely go back to him for my next cleaning.
