I have been going here for nine years, back when the business was owned by Dr. Pontarelli.  The team at Dr. Borris’s office is amazing.  So kind and friendly.  Dr. Borris is wonderful, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.  Alisa, one of the dental hygienists, has been cleaning my teeth for years and she’s very gentle and thorough.  On top of that, I live in Belmar, and it’s probably a three minute drive to the office.  Very convenient.  I couldn’t ask for a better dental experience

Dr. Borris and her entire team deserve five stars across the board! Dr. Borris is a kind and caring doctor who provides outstanding dental services in a professional and comfortable environment. Her staff is friendly and caring and offer outstanding customer service to their patients. I have always been nervous and scared of the dentist but not anymore, it’s taken me 53 years but finally I have found a great dentist. Thank you to Dr. Borris and your team for all your excellent care and five star service!!!

My husband and I are new to the area and needed to find a dentist. We chose Dr. Borris because of distance, insurance acceptance and positive reviews and are extremely pleased with our experiences. Every staff member we interacted with was pleasant and professional. I had a thorough cleaning and we both had x-rays, pictures and consultation with Dr. Borris to discuss not only what she saw, but what smile goals we had for ourselves. It was easy to set up our follow-up appointments and we hope to be patients for years to come.

I highly recommend this practice. The facility is extremely clean and comfortable and the staff is quite friendly and accommodating. Dr Borris replaced a failed crown after five years with compassion, understanding and professionalism AND at no charge. The team worked tirelessly on my difficult case until my report was “perfect”. She said she would accept nothing less than that word. I was very impressed and will continue to refer my friends and family to her. Perfect!

They are the kindest people that I have ever come into contact with! So compassionate, and up front and honest! I have found my forever dentist! So thankful that I stumbled across them. If you have tons of work that needs to be done and are terrified of the dentist like I was, look no more!!! I can’t say enough great things about this amazing team!

I have learned to LOVE this dentist and her practice. We didn’t get off to such a great start a couple of years ago. I had some of the same office staff problems found in less favorable google reviews. What turned it all around is that I informed Dr. Borris of my dissatisfaction via the same staff and she called me back personally to offer a substantial and sincere conversation about. My experience there turned around immediately and completely and continues to the best dental care experience that I recall, ever! Dr. Borris consistently amazes me with her knowledge and communication skills. She has figured out that I think systemically and offers me concisely thorough explanations of her assessment of the dental situations that I come up with, the whys of the assessment, her treatment strategy as well as the technical procedures. This is a first for me in ANY kind of allied health practice. It seems that Dr. Borris also paid attention to patient feedback regarding office and technical staff and has made vast improvements featuring the awesome Trish at the front desk. Trish not only presents one of the brightest personalities found in my experience of medical offices, her reliability in managing the business side of my engagement there promotes trust and confidence that I am in the care of a seasoned professional that doesn’t thrive on excuses framed as explanations. The mistakes to explain just don’t happen. The quality of the good doctor’s assistants and hygienists is consistent with the personal qualities skill levels found throughout the practice. They offer thorough explanations of the treatment goals and procedures and promote confidence in their work. Again, this is an area where Dr. Borris’ communication skills are in evidence. I actually enjoy the effective and responsively efficient communication between her and her technical staff as they are working on me. It is clear that she has recruited and carefully trained a corps of technical staff that can work with her exceptional intelligence. Phewww! This has become a dense review but then I am not prone to 5 star reviews. In addition to being a review, I want to offer a testament to the joy I experience in knowing that I have never felt that achieving this level of dental care and health could be something to be so happy about. Dr. Borris is always fantastic. She takes great care of not only myself but my family as well. Dr. Borris is always interested in what you are up too and how your family is. She takes the time to find out that information and not just how your teeth are doing. Holly is great as well. She not only does a great job cleaning your teeth, but takes the time to explain if there are any issues. She also takes the time to talk with you and is interested in who you are. I love Borris Dental. Great people and they take great care of their patients!
