Dr. Rita’s office is the closest, 5-star reviews one that I could find on Yelp. They open until 6:00, which is perfect for those who get off work late like me so I was able to get an appointment with them even when I called in pretty late in the afternoon. I’m very happy that they explain and answer every questions, even through text message. During Covid-19, it’s great that they send out a Wellness form for patients to fill out and submit before coming in. I thought I would have to come back on another day to have my braces put on but they had everything done for me on the day, which saved me time since it’s hard for me to have a day off with my work schedule. I’m glad that I chose her to entrust with my braces!!

I am so grateful that I have found Dr Rita and Breeze Ortho. I agree with all the other 5-star reviewers that Breeze Orthodontics with Dr Rita Chuang is your best option for getting your smiles perfected in South Bay. She treats the person behind the teeth holistically and is well versed with expansion treatment mechanics that optimizes the patients’ airways and relieves pressure from their TMJ. I know of many patients who travel to see her from out of state and even country because she is clearly worth the travel. Dr. Rita is not only extremely knowledgeable, she is clearly passionate about her work and treats her patients like they are her family. She is very patient and great with her patients, especially with the little ones- my kids love her! I was referred to Dr. Rita Chuang for orthodontic work by my dentist and will surely be thanking her for her referral. Everyone at Breeze Orthodontics has been very friendly and helpful. Dr. Chuang was very nice and professional. She examined my teeth during my consultation visit and explained to me the problems I had with my teeth and what needed to be fixed. Tiffany went over the treatment plans and the prices. She was very patient and answered all my questions and concerns. I had a great visit with Rita Chuang. I had cracked my retainer since I grind my teeth and needed a new retainer that wouldn’t break. When I got there the staff was helpful and friendly throughout my visit. They understood my problems and knew exactly what to do. They were very prompt and told me about different options I had. Dr. Rita was very informed on how to fix my retainer and made me a new one that is better suited to me personally since I grind my teeth. We decided what was the best fit for my needs and I couldn’t be happier. She also gave me exercises that I can do daily to help strengthen my tongue. Overall, it was a great visit and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an orthodontist.

We did a lot of homework and checked out numerous orthodontist, so you don’t have to waste your time. Dr Rita Chuang, by far, impressed us the most with her wealth of knowledge and experience as clinical director at an Ivy League institution, the University of Pennsylvania. That’s not all, she is also twice an Ivy-Leaguer, having attended both Cornell University and UPenn. She also went to USC dental, one of the best dental schools. One would imagine somebody with such high accolades would be out of reach and snobby. Quite the opposite, she is warm, down to earth and has immense level of meticulousness and patience. She made our son, Ethan, who’s normally very nervous around medical professionals, feel right at home. So much so that he eagerly looks forward to his appointments. During my braces treatment, Dr. Eckhardt transitioned to Dr. Chuang but the process was so smooth and Dr. Chuang was super friendly, understanding, and accommodating. Let me just say first that I have NEVER had such an OUTSTANDING experience with a healthcare professional!!! I started treatment with Dr. Eckhart and even with nightly retainer wear, my front teeth shifted and broke the retainer. Rather than purchase replacement retainers ($500 each set!), Rita offered to give me an entirely new treatment for a reduced fee…even though I completed my treatment under her predecessor. Who does that?!! She even went above and beyond fixing the shifted teeth! The new treatment fixed my overbite, helped improve my breathing, and better aligned my canine teeth (something aesthetic that I requested midway through treatment and she made possible by adding trays at no extra cost). Tell her exactly what you want to achieve (smile-wise 😉 and she will do her best to make it happen! Everyone at Breeze is competent, kind and works hard to give their patients amazing smiles! Between the original visits and the start of his treatment, the ownership changed ( Dr. Eckhardt retired ), but we are so pleased with Dr. Rita ! She is very passionate about her job and great with kids ( she’s friendly and explains things very well ) ! I knew this place was great when they kept telling me that my daughter wasn’t ready yet ( despite her crooked front teeth and severe underbite ). Dr. Eckhardt and then Dr. Rita wanted her to loose more baby teeth in order to be able to do hopefully just one phase, when others were ready to start a few years ago just to get their $$$ knowing down the road she would need more treatment. I love this orthodontist!! My experiences at Breeze Orthodontics have been out of this world. I am so grateful to have chosen Dr. Rita Chuang as my orthodontist. I was told by many dentists that I had a complex orthodontic case, so I was very careful and spent a lot of time researching on how to get the best orthodontic care for my needs. From my research, I found that it’s very important to find a Board-certified Orthodontist. Most people may not know this, but not every orthodontist is board-certified. I had consults with 5 different orthodontists, 2 of them have told me that my case was beyond their abilities. I asked for recommendations from my dentist whom I trust, and he recommend that I go see Dr. Rita Chuang since she served as the clinical director at UPenn and have treated many complex cases. Breeze Ortho was an hour drive from my place, but my impeccable experience was totally worth the drive. From the first consult, Dr. Rita Chuang was very patient and kind. She took the time to explain my condition and treatment plan in great detail. She provided different options for addressing my problem, and patiently answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable and confident with her competence and she came up with a customized plan that I hadn’t heard of before in my other consults. My treatment went very smoothly, and I enjoyed going to my appointments and seeing the staff that have almost become like my family. Also, though she estimated 2.5 years for my treatment, I was done in 1 year and 10 months. She under-promised and over-delivered. My smile turned out amazing, and even my dentist was impressed. Even though I live far away, I have enthusiastically recommended all my friends and family, anyone who needs orthodontic care to Dr. Rita Chuang. Many of them go there for their orthodontic treatment now, and all have good things to say about their experiences there. Came here for braces and expander for my two cousins. It is a big place with a paradise theme, the waiting room is bigger than most. The wait time was minimal, considering the fact that we hadn’t finished filling out the form once we were called in. (progress pictures don’t lie) Like many people, I had braces back in high school and since then my teeth have shifted significantly. I was referred to Dr. Chuang from my regular dentist, and in the initial consultation I didn’t have to say any of my concerns they could tell from the x-rays and exam. It made me feel like my “personal preference” wasn’t just me being picky, but was really things I could fix. I went in really wanting Invisalign and was so happy with the treatment plan. First off I’d love to say how Dr.Rita and her crew make you feel absolutely confident and just feel like you’re really being taken care of BECAUSE YOU ARE ! So I found out about breeze Ortho through my aunt since she has been bringing my little cousin in for his braces and she had nothing but great things to say bout them. So I set up my consultation and counted down the days. Finally the day came I showed up and right away I was so amazed with how they explained everything and really informed me as much as possible before I made my decision. I chose to go with Invisalign and at first I won’t lie I was skeptical but once Dr.Rita explainer it in depth I was sure that this was the treatment for me. Seriously the best orthodontist I’ve been to. Dr. Rita is thorough, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about your smile. I have had braces and Invisalign before (in other states) so this will be my 3rd time having orthodontic work done in my life. At my first consultation visit, Dr. Rita diagnosed me with a tongue tie–something I had my whole life that caused me to have a tongue thrust and a handful of other health and sleep problems that no other provider had diagnosed before.
