When I was a kid, growing up in The South, if you had a toothache, and went to a dentist, the first option was to PULL IT OUT.  When I was in the Air Force, and had a tooth ache, the first option was to PULL IT OUT.  There came a time when I had caps a-plenty and spent much time going to dentists, sitting and blanking out pain offered up by the loud drill.  The digging in fronts, backs, and sides of stubs and caps, was an accepted life experience.  It was as natural as going to movies, hanging out with friends and talking with your mouth only half open in order to hide some of the gaps. Pain was buried in what I often called, a Zen State of blocking out. I was referred to Dr. Bob Dardashdi some 12+ years ago.  I won’t exaggerate and say this was a change of life experience . . . , but it was a change of “TOOTH” experience.  First, Dr. D. has, what I call, a soft textured technique when working the inside chasms that host remains of historical caps and bridges.  These are the ones created and buried in that past, with what seemed farmer’s tools of picks, shovels and hoes. These were needed, of course, to go deep, to find roots and to dig and shape sub-surface caverns!

Brighter Dental is excellent. Dr. Dardashti and his team are always thorough, honest and really care about their patients. I have been a patient for 8 years and yes I do the drive to mid city because a great denist is worth it.  My previous dentist kept recommending an expensive procedure and I was skeptical of the diagnosis. Dr. Dardashti explained why I did not need that procedure and I have been with Brighter Dental ever since. All those years my teeth have never been better.  Recently a root canal I had done by a previous dentist started to decay and Brighter referred me to an terrific periodontist to have an implant done. After that process Dr. Dardashti attached my new tooth and it couldn’t be better. Another old root canal is starting to have trouble and the Dr is keeping an eye on it. I know if there is a problem he will recommend the best treatment and specialist to handle it if needed.

I am really glad I found this dentist. It’s so hard to find a good dentist these days that won’t rip you off. He was honest, and I was able to have a filling replaced the same day as my dental cleaning. The staff is very friendly. Jae is the best! She is the office manager, she is so friendly and explained everything to me in detail so far as what my insurance coverage and what I would be responsible for. Shay is also great, she was the dental assistant. I really can’t say better things about everyone in this office. Made my first visit here very enjoyable!

I’ve been going to this Dentist for over 5 years and he’s the BEST Dentist I’ve ever had. I’ve had to get a root canal, fillings and whitening. My Root Canal I thought was gonna kill me according to what I was told about Root Canals however the Dentist did such a excellent job I didn’t feel a thing. This is my second time reviewing this fabulous Dr Dardashti and his wonderful staff. I have been a patient of his since 2006, and just went in for a routine cleaning, Xrays and decided to fix a little bit of receding gums that were sensitive. I never have had a bad experience. Everyone from front desk, to hygenists (Carla, who also manages, and does a great job of explaining everything in terms of prices, what’s covered by insurance, descriptions of services, etc) to Dr Dardashti himself is THE ABSOLUTE BEST!  They are always efficient, caring and extremely professional. Dr Dardashti is so patient, he explains everything, and make me feel comfortable- no one in the office ever pushes services. That includes and extraction, implant, unfortunately lots of cavities, filling fixes and cleanings. Not cheap but worth every penny. Before coming here, I was TERRIFIED of the dentist, but now I know almost (if not already) all of the dental assistants and surgeons and they are all phenomenal. During my first visit I told them I was afraid because I didn’t want to be in any more pain, in which one of the assistants responded back “our job is to make sure you’re not in any more pain.” So with that, I was in and out with them for a year and a half for dental surgeries, reconstructions, cleanings, fillings, pulled (wisdom) teeth and now my mouth is healthy and happy. Wait times were never longer than 10 minutes and it is a very clean facility. I have seen Dr. Dardashti every time I’ve gone in and he is super nice. Basically everyone is nice and now I no longer fear the dentist because they’ve already done the worst to my mouth (ie surgeries/reconstructions) but it was all for the best.
