There are several great Ortho offices in our area, but Brio is at the top of my list. Not only are they honest with their recommendations, they will treat you like you were their own family member with genuine care and honesty. Dr. John Kim and his wife Dr. Yisho Kim are both skilled in their practice providing honest and quality care.  Marcie is fantastic and is always greeting patients at the front office. Recently, my son was in the hospitalized for two weeks. During that time, his braces caused him extreme pain due to his mouth being swollen and other complications. He couldn’t eat or drink for several days. The random dentist assigned to the hospital recommended that they remove his braces temporarily so that he could be relieved from his pain from the braces (this concerned me for couple reasons, but also thinking my Ortho may not like this option). I happened to be at Brio the following day for something entirely different but had shared with Dr. Yisho Kim about our situation. Without any hesitation, Dr. Kim offered and insisted that they would come to CHOC hospital at any point in the day that was convenient to us with their tools to address my sons discomfort with his braces. I was speechless. What Orthodontist would take time out of their busy day, or their own personal time after seeing patients all day, and drive from Yorba Linda to CHOC Hospital in Orange during 6pm traffic to help their patient??? I’m sure they were tired and hungry and could’ve easily gone home to enjoy their evening, as we all would’ve done. Instead, they got in their car and drove in traffic to help my son! Words can not express the gratitude we felt for this priceless gesture. After the adjustments were made to my sons braces, he had immediate relief (he had been in pain for several days and had difficulty eating and drinking).  The best part is that we didn’t have to take his braces off!! He was able to eat and drink again! It was a amazing! I was in tears. My words on yelp can’t even come close to the gratitude my husband and I feel for Brio. The team of medical doctors at CHOC that were assigned to my son were flabbergasted at the level of service Brio delivered that night. They couldn’t believe our orthodontist drove to us at the hospital after a full day of seeing patients! If you’re looking for an Ortho that would make decisions and treat you like they would treat their own family, then this is the place for you.  My words probably can’t convince you, but if you give them a try, my review will be validated after your first visit. My family and I will be forever grateful to Brio.

I highly recommend Brio Orthodontics and Dr. Kim for Invisalign. Like a lot of people, my teeth had shifted as I got older and I wanted to correct them without the appearance of wearing braces again. Within about 12 months Dr. Kim had perfected my smile. If you are an adult thinking about Invisalign you should go for it.

Before my son(11yrs old) started the braces, I visited different orthodontics. Other clinic’s doctor said my younger kid(9 yes old) needed also braces asap. It sounded like there is no other option. But Dr.kim said we could start my younger kid, but we don’t need to. Very frank advice!

My daughter is 9 and we were told by the practicing orthodontist at her dentist’s office that she needed braces right away but we also felt pressured and wanted to get a second opinion. I heard about this place from YL Buzz and fellow yelpers confirmed everyone’s recommendation. I called today and they were able to get us in for a consultation with Dr Kim. The office was ridiculously clean and the staff was very nice. The consultation was free and Dr Kim took quite a bit of time to explain everything to us and we loved that he was 100% honest and didn’t pressure us or make it feel like the sky was falling. We agreed to hold off on braces for now and evaluate again in 9 months. So thankful I found this place and met Dr. Kim and glad I didn’t rush into braces for my daughter.

I came here for my invisalign treatment. I finished in less then a year and the whole process went perfectly. It was easy to make appointments and I never had to wait more then a couple minutes. I’m very happy with my new smile!

We love Dr. Kim and his staff. They are friendly and kind folks. They provide excellent and personal service to our son and family. My son receives greeting cards and “Brio Bucks” for this birthday, visits, and report cards which he redems for gift cards of his choosing. They have snacks and drinks in the reception area, just perfect for those hungry after-school appointments. The most wonderful thing is that we have been with them for a year and have not had any problems with anything falling off or breaking. We were with another Orthodontist and brackets come off within hours and they charged us for something that they did not do right the first time. We switched over to Brio Orthodontics one year ago. Dr. Kim’s policy is that there’s NO extra charge for anything we need. You will love Dr. Kim once you step inside his office and will never leave due to their great customer service. The Orthodontist and staff are very good with the children. They make them feel at ease. Additionally their children’s incentive program takes the fight out of every visit. My daughter reminds me of the appointments:)

Couldn’t be happier with the entire process and care Dr. Kim and staff have shown to my daugther.  I thought braces would be painful and agonizing but BRIO has done such a wonderful job in taking care of my daugther she actually enjoys going to the office!  They are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable which makes for a great practice.  Highly, highly recommend and I assure you will not be disappointed.  And prices are very good compared to other practices.  They could not be beat.  I am sending my younger daugther there when it is her time to get braces!

I was interested in getting braces when a friend referred me to BRIO Orthodontics about 2 months ago –  he is currently receiving invisalign treatment with Dr. Kim and spoke highly of him. So I went in for a consultation and I was greeted by a modern, clean facility with a very welcoming staff. During the consultation, Dr. Kim was straight forward, honest, and helpful. Most importantly, I didn’t feel pressure to start treatment right away (unlike many other orthodontists), which I appreciated. A week after the consultation, I decided to begin my treatment. I am currently on my first tray and it has been a great experience so far. Dr. Kim and his staff have been very helpful and make my visits enjoyable.

My son recently got his braces there and received best in class treatment!!  Dr. Kim and his staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They truly care for their patients and make the process very easy! I would give them ten stars if I could and would highly recommend them!!

I checked out a few different places for orthodontics and instantly felt at ease with Dr. Kim, his wife, and the rest of the staff. Everyone was always so friendly and helpful, and Dr. Kim offered more options and availability than other orthodontists. Other orthos denied any kind of usage for invisalign or incognito/lingual braces in my case, but Dr. Kim offered these options if that was the route I wanted to take. Brio Orthodontics was also very reasonably priced. Dr. Kim is very skilled, knowledgeable, and was upfront and honest about my timeline for braces/all progress made at each appointment. I’d definitely recommend him and his staff!!! 10/10!

Dr Kim and his team gave me an outstanding service every time I went there during my treatment. What’s most important though were the results I got, I saw my before and after X-rays and I’m glad I came here for my braces. I would highly recommend visiting Brio Orthodontics if you want to get a better smile for you or your loved one. I’m very happy with mine.

I can’t say enough how fantastic Brio Ortho is! They are honest and extremely friendly. Dr. Kim always takes the time to explain everything and always addresses any concerns. Dr. John Kim and Dr. Yisho Kim also recently went out of their way to accommodate my sick son that was hospitalized at CHOC. After a full day at work, despite traffic and having their own life to live, they went out of their way to come to the hospital which was at least a 30-40 minutes away, with their dental tools and fixed what needed to be fixed! I couldn’t believe Dr. Kim would take time out of his busy day after hours to do this for my son. Needless to say, my son was instantly relieved and was finally able to eat and drink again. Brio cares about their patients and treats everyone like family. If I could give 100 stars I would! We will always be grateful for what Brio has done for my son.

I am never regretting that I had my braces here. From the beginning, I guarantee that you will get top notch excellent service! I am a patient who just had maxillofacial surgery (I had an underbite). In order to have the surgery done to get a regular bite, I was referred to brio for braces so that I can get my teeth ready for surgery. From day 1, they demonstrated that they are very friendly, they see you as family (and not just revenue) and they go above and beyond to ensure you know all your options before the right braces. Dr Kim, Mrs. Kim, Ingrid and the staff will go above and beyond to make you feel that you are a very important person. Their office is very welcoming with free snacks and drinks! If I had kids, I’ll entrust them to Dr. Kim. Regarding Dr. Kim, he’s a very kind, humble,  hard working, like Google when it comes to information on orthodontics, and he’s the chef Gordon Ramsey in terms of expertise in his field (his credentials really show). Pricing is very affordable (I just finished grad school when I got my braces and had no money), and they will even explain payment options as well. They accept Delta Dental!!! If you need braces, go here!

Dr. Kim has been great with both my children. My children enjoy, as much as possible, their trips to their orthodontist. The reception staff is friendly and very helpful. When you schedule your appointments, the staff will let you know how long they expect the appointment to last. They are upfront with all costs and benefits.  They offer multiple payment plans with various levels of discounts. I would recommend Dr. Kim and BRIO Orthodontics to anyone who needs braces.

Dr. Kim and the staff are so kind and awesome. Mist dr will say start on it right away but he said wait a year. Very honest and patient oriented doctor. Staff are very welcoming and nurturing. Found a gem in Yorba Linda!

have been so pleased with the level of care our daughter is receiving during her ortho treatment at Brio. We choose Brio because the Orthodontist our son sees (same city, different office) makes us feel like we are just another appointment in his vast practice and we were looking for more personalized attention. Dr. John Kim and his wife Dr. Yisho Kim create the perfect team for this family oriented business. I love that Dr. John fully explains my daughter’s treatment and progress and Dr. Yisho Kim demonstrates how to properly care for their teeth while wearing braces. Kailey, the receptionist, is never without a smile and their office is clean, pleasantly decorated and is not far from my daughter’s school. They even provide healthy snacks for their patients coming straight from school to their appointments. The fact that they are competitively priced is a nice bonus. You won’t regret choosing Brio for your child’s ortho treatment.

Dr. Kim, Ingrid, and the whole staff at Brio Orthodontics not only did an EXCELLENT job with my daughter’s braces, but they made us feel like family every single visit. If my daughter broke a wire loose or whatever, and we needed to get in ASAP, NO PROBLEM! Dr. Kim even opened up the office on a Saturday for us. We used another Ortho for my other two daughters, and switched to Brio for my youngest based on a recommendation from her dentist, and it was HANDS DOWN the best referral any Dr/dentist has EVER given me. With this level of service one would expect to pay a little more, but we actually paid LESS than we did with the ‘other’ orthodontist. A+++++++++

I love this office and the staff, very professional and the Doctor does awesome work. You will not be disappointed.  If you can’t make it to your appointment at the Orange office you can always go to the Yorba Linda office. The prices are very reasonable too!

I’ve taken my son here a couple times for a consultation, still waiting for him to be ready for braces. Dr. Kim is very patient and explains everything thoroughly. The office is clean and I’ve found the front desk staff very friendly. I was referred to this office by many friends who had gotten braces for their children and heard many wonderful things about this practice.
