My regular dentist was not available so Dr. Garrett took me as a walk-in and quickly diagnosed my problem. His staff scheduled an appointment with a specialist for an hour later. Then, after hours, he called to see how I was doing and let me know he was working late if I had any issues. The following day, a staff member also called to see how I was. I was so impressed with his kindness and care. What a great dentist!

I recently moved to the West Hills area and I am happy to have found Calabasas Dental. The staff is genuinely friendly and they get the job done. I leave with my teeth sparkly clean and feeling refreshed. I am so appreciative of their flexible schedule since I do have crazy work hours. This was the reason I did not go to the dentist as much in the past. It is not too common that a dentist’s office is open after normal business hours (such as 8-5p). I’m pretty happy that I am well accommodated here and I do not have to take time off of work to get my dental on. On top of that, I love their appointment reminders sent to my phone and email! Truly a lifesaver and it keeps me on top of things. Another important thing for me is the office is super clean and well maintained. The office is convenient and located in a shopping plaza with ample parking.. especially if I’m running late! Thank you to Melissa, Rae, and Dr. Garrett for keeping my teeth on point! I am looking forward to my next dentist visit!!! I would 10/10 recommend this office to my family and friends… since they’re all equally work-a-holics with crazy work schedules!

Dr. Garrett is a fabulous dentist!! — not just for people who are fearful of getting dental work done like myself, but also because he is a grade A professional at his craft. When I visited his office I was greeted by a very friendly staff and felt comfortable through the entire process. Rachel at the front desk was an absolute doll! She was so patient and helpful with scheduling my appt. (my work schedule is pretty hectic, but she got me in later in the evening to accommodate my schedule.) Dr. Garrett gave me the “bride special” which is a free teeth whitening for brides! (I am getting married Sept. 8th) He walked me through the entire processes, answering my questions along the way and always checking in on me. The whitening was wonderful! I noticed at least a 3 shade improvement with just 40 mins. of in house whitening. Dr. Garrett’s work was amazing and to top it off he is such a wonderful person! This was my first visit, however, having it been such a great experience I plan to secure Dr. Garrett as my primary dentist to have my annual teeth cleaning and future dental work. Thank you again!!

Great experience. I came in the morning without an appointment and was seen immediately. My two front teeth had been chipped from the weekend prior and I needed them fixed, luckily I had the pieces and the break was clean. Dr. Garrett was able to setup an appointment that same afternoon to have my teeth fixed, and was nice enough to rehydrate my broken teeth for a few hours until my appointment later that afternoon. I went from broken teeth to fixed teeth within a few hours! The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The care was excellent and I would recommend this office to any of my friends and family

I recently took my 5 year old daughter and my 3 year old son to see the dentist at Calabasas Dental Care. They’re experience there was amazing and I couldn’t speak more highly of the staff. I had a wonderful experience at Calabasas Dental Care! The Hygienist did the most amazing cleaning on my teeth! I was so insecure about my smile due to not getting my teeth cleaned prior and during my pregnancy. Then after giving birth this whole Covid-19 thing. Soon as things opened back up I was looking to get my teeth cleaned as well as an X-ray and exam. After giving birth and nursing I had so many spots and calcium plaque build up on my teeth. Well not anymore my teeth literally got an makeover. The hygienist really Is amazing and got my teeth feeling and looking so clean!!!!!! I found this place online, I had previously visited another dentistry and something just didn’t feel right. Then I came across this dentistry and decided to try it out, and from the first moment I walked in I have been treated with the utmost respect. The staff there are wonderful. I have to open by saying… I used Yelp to find Calabasas Dental Care. We recently moved to the area and was looking for an excellent dentist in the area. Narrowing it by location and reviews, we selected Calabasas Dental care. I had my first appointment today: cleaning and checkup. I was welcomed by Dr. Garrett right away — and was ever so fortunate that the entire staff was not there at all. That was not a bad thing; since, Dr. Garrett spent about 1.5 hours with me, discussing my dental history, my dental habits… and whether I was a Dodgers fan, 🙂 (The staff is usually there, he assured me; but, a few were out sick, and other reasons. Not a problem, for me.) It was a great experience: he was extremely thorough in his exam and follow-up cleaning. He made a few good recommendations to improve my dental hygiene; which I will put into practice.
Dr. Garrett makes you feel very comfortable during the exam and does enjoy great conversation during the process. You will feel quite comfortable and at ease! I look forward to returning to Calabasas Dental in the future: for routine checkups and other procedures.

Back in 2017-we needed to find a dentist for myself and the hubby-we were referred by a friends father to Dr. Garrett and another family friend concurred that Dr. Garrett was the guy to entrust our chompers to. We made an appointment and found that this office was amazing! Not only that but they offered hours that were more conducive to our schedules…. We ended up with 2 adult cleanings, 2 (3 yr old and a 12 yr old) children cleanings (we transferred to Dr. Garrett after Dr. Lasky moved to Studio City…) and one partial crown because one tooth cracked and no one ever found out until Dr. Garrett looked further and deeper into tooth (saving us an inevitable root canal or tooth loss)… I’m delighted with our teeth and both kids love Dr. Garrett and his group he has on staff… Today, the hubby went in then both my girls followed. I have mine scheduled for next week… So happy to find a local amazing dentist!! Great with kids and amazing with adults! NOTE: I read someone saying “really expensive”. To be very honest-my partial crown cost less than others I’ve asked by at least $300-$800. Also-I had gone back for over 9+ months to get my tooth shaped as at the time my tooth was numb and after months of “test driving” my tooth-I was still able to come back for fine tuning. Not sure what they were disputing but when I had this done-they were beyond flexible to work with me and bill me if need be. Nothing but great work, fantastic caring staff and professional service. As for confusions-we are humans-we get confused (even general practitioners) as I get calls many times for “Sophia-your bill…” even though my appointment is not until 6 months from now-and I’m definitely NOT Sophia! It happens-it does not mean they are disorganized.

At Calabasas Dental Care you will find a team of professionals that are dedicated to providing top-quality dental care in a friendly, comfortable, caring environment. Calabasas Dental Care has served Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Woodland Hills and Agoura for the last 30 years. When the doors first opened most of the surrounding area was still foothills and it was the only dental practice for 10 miles in any direction. The influx of new patients was overwhelming and within a few weeks the schedule was booked for months. The area has grown and developed greatly since then and we've done our best to keep up. Our office was remodeled a few years ago; redone in an opulent style and updated with a plethora of new devices and digital equipment. Dr. Garrett himself works tirelessly to perfect his craft and expand his dental knowledge and service offerings. The Academy of General Dentistry is the nations largest continuing education organization. Dr. Garrett earned his fellowship there in 2005 and his prestigious mastership in 2007 - a title only a handful of dentists hold. He is currently the President of the So. Cal. chapter of the AGD. Dr. Garrett is a California native raised in Brentwood. He was a senior in high school when the war began in vietnam and upon graduation he signed up for the marines. Upon returning from his tour of duty he was accepted to Stanford University and earned his Bachelors degree. With his impeccable academic accomplishments at the west coast's most prestigious school USC was happy to admit him to their dental school. He graduated in 1979 and after a few years working for another dentist opened his own practice here in Calabasas - Calabasas Dental Care. For the last 30 years he has worked diligently here providing the highest level of dental care available and developing his ever-growing skill set. He is an active participant in the local chapter of the American Dental Association and President of the Southern California chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry.
