When it comes to tooth-care it’s not on the top of my priority list. I’m a wimp at keeping my mouth open due to my TMJ and always leave the dentist with swollen gums and in more pain than before going in. I decided to take a chance with Dr Yin and I couldn’t have been happier. The whole staff was so nice and helpful. The office was beautiful and really made me feel comfortable. Even their dental equipment was up with the current technology so it made me feel like this was a less intrusive process. My pain level was always top priority and they were very mindful on giving me breaks or if I needed additional numbing they would assist with that. I was so impressed I decided to have my husband and my toddler visit as well. Dr Hofkes helped my husband with his hockey smile and Dr Vivian was so gentle with our toddler and really tried to make him comfortable with his first dental visit. I appreciate everything the doctors and staff have done for my family and highly recommend Center Plaza Dentistry for your family as well.

I came in because I cracked my front tooth in an accident. When I first walked in I felt so welcomed. The office is gorgeous and spotless and the staff is amazing. The office manager checked me in and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure. She answered all my questions and was very professional. Dr. Yin is an absolute angel! She explained everything thoroughly, made sure I was ok the whole time, and was so gentle and kind. She really cares about her patients. I literally cried tears of happiness when the procedure was done, she helped me get my smile back. I have never met a dentist as great as her! Highly recommend! The dental assistant was also very sweet and attentive. They have up-to-date technology making the whole dental experience 10 times better than other offices.

Dr. Yin, Dr. Hofkes snd their amazing staff are some of my favorite people ever. I genuinely look forward to my visits! Let me start off with the office- it’s very clean and so bright and airy! The receptionist, Ailey, is a gem. She is so sweet, she works fast, very communicative and is so on top of it. I’m so impressed by her. The hygienists and dental assistants are so welcoming and so gentle with their tools. Comfort is one of their top priorities. Dr. Hofkes and Dr. Yin are simply the best. They’re both compassionate about what they do and they truly care about their patients. I needed some fillings and Dr. Hofkes was so awesome and understanding of my fear of dental work. He was so cool and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Yin did my Invisalign and I cannot say enough great things about my experience. She talked me through the entire process to make sure it was the right move for me. She was so detailed that I didn’t have any questions at my consultation. After 3 months of Invisalign, I have never been happier with my smile. I can’t stop smiling and I’m so happy! THANK YOU Center Plaza Dentistry for taking such good care of me. You guys are the best!

I got to meet and chat with both Dr. Yin and Dr. Hofkes. I did not feel rushed, pressured, uncertain, or anxious about getting my dental procedure done. It was smooth going and pretty much a painless procedure (I had get two injections to get numb and that was the only discomfort I had).

Dr. Yin and Dr. Hofkes were both so caring and professional. I have been to countless other dentist and was always over charged, but not at Center Plaza Dentistry. They were fair and always went over the pricing in a way any lay person could understand. The best part was that during the whole procedure they were making sure my comfort was a priority. I have recommended this location to countless family members and they have all been so happy with their visits.

I moved to Seal Beach a few years ago from Michigan. Since the move, I’ve been so busy getting situated into the west coast that I’ve neglected finding a new dentist. Maybe I just used moving as an excuse to not find a dentist because I don’t like going to one. But turns out, the reason I didn’t like going to one was because my dentist back home was horrible. Sometimes you don’t know that something is wrong until you’ve had something better to compare it to. In this case, I’ve compared it to Dr. Yin from center plaza dentistry and she has definitely set the bar. I found this place randomly because I like going to the bagel shop next door. I looked it up and saw that it had some good reviews. I walked over there with my bagel to check it out. The receptionist was so nice and Dr. Yin came out to introduce herself and give me a tour of the office. WOW- nicest dental office I’ve ever been to. Very modern but not pretentious is how I would describe it. Fast forward to my appointment date. She gave me a very thorough exam. She even checked my gum pockets before telling me that I had healthy gums but needed to focus on the back when flossing and brushing because pockets were a little deeper there. I also had two cavities which she took pictures of to show me and they were clear as day. My other dentist has never checked my gum pockets before but I was somehow told that I needed a deep cleaning. He never showed me X-rays and pictures and I was supposed to just take his word for it. Which I always did because I thought that was normal. Dr. Yin gave me a regular cleaning that made my teeth feel even cleaner than the deep cleanings that I had to pay a shit ton for. The fillings were done the following week. No pain and I watched Netflix during the procedure. They give you headphones to attach to the chair and you get to keep the headphones after your appointment. No wait time and free parking. I highly recommend this office! Best dental experience ever

My second time back at Center Plaza and decided to get my Invisialign with them from my first visit. Absolutely awesome. Dr. Vivian Yi was gentle, patient, and explained the entire process and procedure like a pro. Very accommodating staff and gracious in helping me understand my benefits information and what to expect. I can’t recommend them enough!

This is my favorite dentistry that I’ve ever visited. I’m so glad I found Center Plaza Dentistry because it is close to work and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I’ve been there three times within the past year for my annual check ups and mid year teeth cleaning. I used to hate going to the dentist but every time I come in for a visit it is always a pleasant time. The receptionist is very sweet and she always asks me how I’m doing and if I would like anything to drink while I wait. The wait is never long either. The assistants are always professional and nice, they take my x rays and set me up for the doctor. Dr. Vivian Yin is amazing. I can finally say I kind of like going to the dentist now because of her. She is very sweet and extremely gentle. She always checks if I’m doing okay as she cleans my teeth. Also, she is very informative on any updates on the health of my teeth and gums. I always feel so fresh after she’s done. Also, the assistants always do a great job with polishing and flossing. You can tell they get every teeth and take their time and not just rush through it. At the end of my visit, I always get a nice goodie bag with toothpaste, floss, and tooth brush!  My recent visit, I shared with the doctor that I will be taking a trip soon with family and she was nice enough to pack some extra toothpaste, toothbrushes! They also have brush head in their restrooms! Lastly, I love that they remind me by email and text message for my upcoming appointments. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Center Plaza Dentistry. I do not think I’ll ever switch to another dentistry 🙂

Dr. Hofkes and Dr. Yin are both top notch dentists. They have excellent training and backgrounds, and are always up on the latest advanced techniques.  Their office is beautiful, modern, and bright. The equipment is brand new and impeccably clean! I guarantee that you will feel right at home here with these caring doctors and staff and warm office atmosphere. Highly recommend!
