Dr. Vogel has been my dentist for the past 15 years. The entire practice is exceptional from the front office to the technicians and to Dr. Vogel. They have state of the art equipment to monitor all current and upcoming dental conditions. Equally as important to me is the kindness of the staff. I am a very nervous dental patient and everyone does their best to make comfortable. I have several friends who use this practice. I highly recommend it!!

I was walking south on Central Park West looking for a new dentist and I came across CPW Dental. Heidi who works the front desk was very helpful and she answered all of my questions. I proceeded to leave and I interviewed a handful of other Dentists Front Desk personnel in the area and my gut told me to set up an appointment with CPW Dental. The entire team is very professional and Dr. Vogel was thorough, professional, and most importantly he did not rush me and he answered all of my questions. This was my first visit, my other Dentist I had for over 15 years, however he is on Long Island and I wanted a local dentist. This practice comes with my highest regard.

Best dentist in NYC. I come from a family of plenty of dentists. Unfortunately, they all live far from NYC. I used to wait until I visit one of them because I thought a lot of dentists in NY just want your money, and don’t really care to much about your dental, or doing whatever they can to help you and guide you to keep your teeth healthy. That all changed when I visit this office. I no longer have to wait for a trip to my family to feel my teeth are in good hands. I’ve been visiting this office for years now. I recommend this office to every person I know. Friends have reached out to me because they are thankful I recommended it.

This is by far the best dental practice I’ve been to during the 11 years I’ve been living in Manhattan. By using state-of-the-art equipment and a close-up video apparatus, Drs. Vogel and Shipper, and hygienist, Briana, made it their mission to resolve whatever exposed- nerve issues were occuring in my back teeth. My previous doctor could never figure out the problem! But this place did and I’m once again eating in peace. CPW Dental is the best. And the office staff is so attentive and warm, it’s unbelievable.

First visit- After I’ve been told by a student at NYU school of Dentistry that they would have to pull out a tooth I decided to look for a dentist who could give me a second opinion. I search yelp and came across very good reviews for Central Park West Dental and Dr. Vogel. I quickly made an appointment.. The day came and I went to the office. The staff was so friendly and greets you with a smile. They set me into a room and got me ready for Vogel. He came in and introduced himself and right away he wanted to know what was going on and how he can help. I began to tell him and he took an x-ray of my tooth. He explained there was no reason why the school would tell me they had to pull my tooth, but he can save it. I just needed a root canal and a crown. He referred me to a endodontist first to take care of the root canal and then I made an appointment to come back for the crown. Long story short everything with the root canal went well and I got my crown. I normally would feel pain when I get novacaine but Dr. Vogel was very gentle. He explained to me everything that was going on and assured me that the crown came out well. He just had to adjust it a bit. I was very grateful I didn’t lose my tooth and Vogel was able to save it for me. I would refer anyone to see him if you have a serious problem. Second Visit- Its 5 months later after I had an successful root canal but all of a sudden I started to have pain. I didn’t know what to do and I was about to go away on vacation. I knew I couldn’t deal with my tooth hurting and be able to enjoy myself on my trip, so I made the call to Dr. Vogel’s office for help once again. I thought it was the same tooth that was worked on but Vogel checked and didn’t think it was the same tooth…I was sent to the endodontist as well for him to check it out as well. Dr. Bui didn’t see anything either. A few days has past and it turned out my upper tooth was the guilty source of my pain. So Dr. Vogel checked and told me I would need another root canal…not that I wanted to spend a lot of money right before going to Las Vegas, but what choice did I have…I made the appointment and he got to work. This time he did the root canal for me, pain free which I loved. He put in a temporary filling and told me I would have to come back for the final filling which I did. I felt so much better when it was done. He just told me I would have to come back down the line for a crown but for right now I was ok to enjoy myself on vacation. (which I did). Now I just have to go back for a cleaning and I should be good. I’m 100% satisfied with all my treatments I have had so far.

All of my coworkers go to this dentist – Dr. Vogel and his assistants are very professional, experienced, and courteous. I have recommended several friends to go here as well. The office is conveniently located near a subway stop, is clean, and is easy to find. On my first visit, I was a little off-put because there wasn’t someone at the front desk and I was waiting around for a while. But when I actually went in to be examined, Dr. Vogel did a great job and also had high-tech equipment – very up to standard and beyond. The woman who cleaned my teeth both times so far was accommodating and very personable. Very caring and very meticulous in her work. I left feeling confident that my teeth were cared for to the best possible standard and will gladly recommend this dentist office to anyone who asks.

Oh my goodness I am in love with this practice! I moved to New York a little over a year ago, and have been putting off finding a dentist because at 23 years of age, yes, I still cry like a baby every time I’m in that chair. Everyone at work recommended this place to me, and I just had my first exam. Oral cancer screening, thorough xrays and pictures taken, and a cleaning. I won’t tell you how many cavities they found (bring on the tears when they fill them in!!), but I will say that every single person at CPW Dental is so friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable! Puts my old dentist to shame. I highly recommend this place.

Three days ago, I was suffering from incredible mouth pain. A shard of popcorn kernel had irritated my gum, and it had become infected and inflamed. I called Central Park West Dental at 6 pm, and received a return call from Dr. Vogel that same evening. He assured me that he would see me the following day, and gave me a few tips for how to ease the pain in the meantime. The next day, I had an appointment at 10:30 am; Dr. Vogel looked at the issue, helped provide some temporary relief, and prescribed me the needed antibiotics and pain killers. Throughout the visit, he was his typical kind, informative, and reassuring self. Three days later I’m on the mend! I would highly recommend Central Park West Dental – both for regular checkups and emergency needs. I’ve been a Yelp member for years but this is the first time I’ve actually wanted to review a business myself. I’m just that grateful.

I was having some issues with a tooth causing some discomfort and my regular dentist in Long Island was on vacation…what to do in this nebulous world of oral care providers? I hopped on Yelp and was quite encouraged by the reviews I saw for Dr. Vogel. Called to book an appointment, explained what was going on, and they were able to get me in that day. I met Dr. Vogel and he was a real pleasure – gave me all the time in the world, explained everything that he was looking at and checking on, and summed up his recommendation clearly, always checking with me that I was ok with what he was doing. The office was small but well appointed, the equipment seemed top of the line, the chair was super-comfortable, and everyone there was extremely sweet and friendly. I’d fully recommend Dr. Vogel, your teeth are in good hands!

Friendly, curteous, professional, enthusiastic, fast. Really, about as good an experience at a dental offices as I could imagine. Taking a recommendation from a (non-yelp) friend, I went to Dr. Vogel after a long hiatus from professional dental care, and fortunately there was nothing major needed. But after the quick and guilt-free inspection, photos and xrays, and cleaning, I should have no problem keeping my 6 months schedule in the future. Oh, and people are curious about prices. I paid $410 for a cleaning, initial inspection by the dentist, and full set of x-rays (this is all pre-insurance.) To be honest, I have no idea how this compares with other dentists.
