The most amazing and caring women I’ve met. I was terrified of the whole braces process and everything that had to be done along with them but Dr Chan and Dr Chen we’re so patient and kind and made sure I understood everything they were doing and made sure to answer all my questions. I’d recommend anyone to come here if they need an orthodontist. Absolutely incredible staff as well!

We have been been more than pleased with Drs. Chan and Chen. Our 2 children have received their orthodontic care with them. Both doctors are kind, thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. The staff is great. They have managed the practice safely and efficiently during the pandemic. I recommend them without reservation.

Both Dr. Chan and Dr. Chen are outstanding orthodontists – incredible! They are friendly and put my children at ease during their visits, and they communicated very well with me as a parent every step of the way. Both doctors have provided exceptional care for my 2 children – they made the whole experience with braces easy and amazing. Their office is inviting, their staff incredibly friendly and helpful, and I would highly recommend them for any person of any age. They are great at what they do and are conveniently located in downtown Andover (with ample parking and easy access). They have many years of experience and are highly trusted professionals.

Very satisfied with Dr Chan & Dr Chen and her entire staff.  From reception to techs to the doctors themselves…all very pleasant and professional.  My 13 year old daughter loves this office and her teeth look great.  I love the clean waiting area and the coffee station too . Highly recommended!

I got my invisilign from Chan & Chen. Am very pleased with the progress that my teeth have made under Dr Ivy’s care. I do recommend this place to anyone who wants to improve their smile. Fantastic experience from day 1. I am an older female who went to Drs. Ivy and Chan for Invisalign to straighten my crooked teeth, and the entire staff/process exceeded my expectations. They are not only an extremely professional and knowledgeable staff, but warm and friendly as well. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for orthodontic care!

As of this morning, I had three daughters with braces from Chan & Chen, and have always had fabulous things to say! Even during COVID, I felt that they were very attentive, even facetiming during the beginning of the pandemic. My oldest daughter got her braces off this morning, and again they were wonderful – even giving her a bottle of sparkling apple cider to celebrate. Thank you Chan & Chen!

Had invisalign treatment done here a few years back and both dr chen and dr chan were great. Very caring doctors and a pleasure to deal with. My teeth turned out great and the doctors made sure they were perfect before ending the treatment. I was impressed with the technology the office offers and the cleanliness, They are very flexible with appointments and offer a few saturday appointments each month which is almost unheard of nowadays. I would recommend anyone to their practice and all ages.

Drs. Chan & Chen have taken care of my daughter over the last two years. Her braces just came off and her smile is gorgeous! Their gentle care, patience, inclusion of parents throughout the process, and attention to detail made for an ideal experience. We are out of towners, daughter’s brace wire broke. Called, and Dr Chan was in but it was lunchtime, but she had no problem letting us pop in – she adjusted my daughters braces in 5  minutes and we were done. We will be back if we need anything adjusted or changed while we are here. Super nice facility. Clean. Modern and a really kind dentist. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience working with both Dr. Kathleen Chan and Dr. Ivy Chen. My treatment took a year and half; and throughout my treatment, both Doctors were very friendly and helpful. They have done above and beyond of what I can expect from an Orthodontics. I had to call in a few times for an emergency fix and both of them are willing to put in extra time and efforts (weekend, or during off business hours). I am truly happy that I have found them and I wished I have found them sooner! I will miss my monthly visit, although I am happy my treatment is done! =) I highly recommend both doctors!!!

Drs. Chan and Chen care so much about the attention to detail. I found this practice by asking my dentist for a recommendation. When my dentist explained that she drives nearly 40 minutes to take her children to this practice that was all I needed to know. If you study the credentials of these two orthodontists, you will be impressed. More importantly, these ladies both have an “eye” for what makes an attractive smile and they work with you to achieve it.

I had an orthodontic emergency where my permanent retainer broke, and there was exposed sharp metal in my mouth. I was not originally a patient with Chan & Chen Orthodontics but they still took me right away. I called many other orthodontics offices, and nobody else could take me that day. It was the Friday before a 3 day weekend, and I was very scared I’d have to go the whole weekend with the sharp metal in my mouth. Chan & Chen Orthodontics fixed my permanent retainer quickly and did a great job, for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this business.

My son’s experience at Chan & Chen Orthodontics is wonderful. The service provided has been consistently very good throughout and the communication to the patient and the parents are great as well. The doctors, nurses and reception staffs are very pleasant and make you feel well respected. The office is very clean and nice with complimentary drinks. I would recommend anyone needed for orthodontic work to go there.

An impressive collection of dedicated professionals. On initial consultation, they seem quite capable of getting your child through whatever challenges will occur. Dr. Chen explained that Board Certification consisted of extra work compiling your portfolio, your case presentations, and presenting this to be critiqued by your peers. Clean office, welcoming environment.

They were really nice from the minute a called for a consultation, to when I was leaving the office with complimentary hand sanitizer and chapstick! They gave me a tour of the office and introduced me to everyone in the office and their positions. I came in with irregular bite issues, and the doctor gave me insight on my issues and found a possible solution. I was very nervous upon entering the office since it was my first orthodontist appointment, but they made me feel very comfortable. My younger sister will be needed braces in the next year or so, and I am more than glad to bring her here.

What can I say about this practice but thank God I was referred to both Dr. Chan and Dr. Chen. I walked into this practice feeling defeated but left happier then I ever have been after my free consultation. Both Dr. Chan and Dr. Chen are very professional and provided me with their expertise on how to fix the problems I had with my teeth. I am now a patient of theirs and looking forward to the end of my treatment so I can love my smile again. The professionalism from the receptionist to the dental assistance and both Dr. Chan and Dr. Chen is outstanding. They worked with both my dentist and periodontist to come up with a game plan that would work to my advantage. I highly recommend this practice.

During the years I was very unhappy with my bottom teeth; I wouldn’t smile in pictures because I felt very self-conscious about the look of my teeth. My dentist referred Dr. Chan & Dr. Chen Orthodontics and couldn’t be more happy with the whole process; they worked directly with me and decided my course of treatment would be the Invisalign. I started almost 15 months ago and just finished my treatment and couldn’t be more thrilled and excited with the outcome of my teeth; I now find myself smiling more and not being embarrassed to smile for pictures. This office has the most compassionate, kind and talented employees; from the front receptionist desk to the technicians and last both not least Dr. Chan & Dr. Chen who work their magic everyday. If I can give 6 Stars I would; I highly recommend this office to anyone who is in the need to feel and look beautiful..

From the moment you walk into the office until the moment you leave…excellent treatment, smart and professional staff, clean office.  Both Dr. Ivy and Dr. Chen are fantastic.  I had a challenging, risky case and was fully informed of my options along the way. Dr. Kathleen Chan and Dr. Ivy Chen’s orthodontic practice is phenomenal! They are well organized, professional, thorough and personable! In addition, their work ethic emulates the highest standards and services are maticulously performed from beginning to end! My oldest daughter received treatment from this practice and is often complemented on how beautiful her teeth are. My youngest daughter’s orthodontic treatments are underway and we rest comfortably knowing that she’s in excellent hands with Dr. Chan, Dr. Chen and their outstanding team of “miracle” workers!

We are parents in the medical and dental fields, and we were having a problem deciding on an orthodontist for our child who has some difficult and major orthodontic problems. We had had consulted and discussed our child’s case with more orthodontists than we anticipated, and received conflicting treatment plans. Not expecting a resolution, we acted on a recommendation to see Drs. Chan and Chen. These are our experience: 1. They had a busy schedule, but Dr. Chen stayed after hours to see us. She spent more than an hour explaining her findings and recommendations. To use our child’s favor phrase “Who does that?” We are health care providers, so we know that this is one hallmark of a doctor who truly cares. 2. Dr. Chen is super knowledgeable. By now we have read volumes of orthodontic textbooks and articles. We have no clinical experiences in orthodontics, but we know much more about orthodontics than maybe the average parent. Dr. Chen’s findings were consistent with what we understood about our child’s problems and more. Her recommendations were detailed and addressed all of our concerns. Her treatment details not only agreed with the textbooks and research findings, in areas where there were controversies Dr. Chen was able to offer very sincere and clear recommendations. She was not dogmatic about her recommendations but able to offer clear explanations and good alternatives. Orthodontics is very much an art as much as it is a science, and Dr. Chen excels in both. She also offered her experiences in treating her own son about the very same problems as our child had. How reassuring is that? 3. The stuff, from Teri at the front desk to Tori the assistant, were super friendly and helpful. Our child is shy, and they made her feel comfortable throughout her appointments. 4. The office is clean, professional, and parking is easy. We drive a long distance to see Dr. Chen. We decided that she was our child’s orthodontist and was worth the extra driving. 5. The practice uses advanced technologies. For example, the xray is digital. Radiation exposure is a concern for us, and digital xray has low radiation. Dr. Chen was so accommodating. She didn’t mind using the xrays we got from another office to lessen the radiation exposure to our child. They use digital impression to scan their patients’ teeth instead the old fashion impressions. This allows more accurate impressions and comfort for their patients. I could go on and on about how wonderful this office and Dr. Chen are. We are looking forward to getting the best orthodontic results for our child with Dr. Ivy Chen. I will update our experience, and everything so far tells us that we will have more wonderful things to say about this orthodontic practice. We are looking forward to meeting Dr. Chan, who also will be seeing our child. Getting two doctors with their combined experiences and knowledge? Where else could you get that?
