I’ve been going to Cherrydale Family Dental for close to 2 years now and I love all of the new changes! All of the staff members are polite, kind, and nice to talk to! The receptionist knows a lot about insurance and helped me understand more about the insurance plan that I have and what it covers- I didn’t know that I was eligible for 3 cleanings per year instead of 2! The hygienist & doctor were so so gentle, friendly, and knowledgeable- I’m definitely not used to being treated so nicely at a dental office. I felt like everyone truly cared about me and treated me like family. Coming to the dentist has never been a pleasant experience for me until coming here- I hope I never have to move!

I have really enjoyed going to Cherrydale Family Dental. I left a high cost, super fancy dentist office in Rosslyn because I wanted to be able to walk to appointments and interact with a more down-to-earth group of people. Wow! I’m shocked there’s not enough reviews with this dds, Copeland. First, his staff is genuinely wonderful. They’re so helpful and sweet. And not to mention knowledgeable. They do care for their patients. With that said, Copeland is the same way! He will work with you about payments and will let you know if there’s a problem with your teeth. If you have concerns or questions, he’s always there to answer and assist. Copeland is pretty popular in the neighborhood so make sure to arrange your appointments carefully. He’s a bit chatty but hey I don’t care, as long he takes care of my teeth well. It’s worth the drive for me!

I came here a long time ago without insurance and they were able to work with me. I now have Metlife and can come here. I agree he is personable and honest. I love his admin staff. I had two cavities and usually don’t deal with drills very well. Amazingly he was patient, efficient and quick. You can tell he’s been doing this for a long time and is an expert. He may not have all the newest gadgets and dentistry equipment but he is a GREAT dentist and I will continue to see him! Also, my grandfather sees him and he has been so understanding and helpful. When my grandfather had a dental emergency (tooth came out), Mr. Copeland saw him and advised him on the person he could see because he can’t do that kind of surgical procedure. Also, when my grandfather was feeling ill, he called to ask Mr.Copeland if he should come even though his heart rate was high. Mr.Copeland suggested he go to the Dr. and they could easily reschedule. That is a caring Dentist.

I am 25 so I’ve only had about three dentists in my life, but Dr. Lobo is the best. He fixed up a few botched fillings from a previous dentist that caused a lot of tooth pain and dentist-anxiety for me. I almost asked for a root canal in the beginning my pain was so bad! After visiting my old dentist several times for help with no answer, Dr Lobo realized it was inflammation from a gap and spared me the root canal- after months of daily advil all of my pain stopped! When he saw me he answered all my questions and anytime I would need work done he would ask if I was OK several times throughout the procedure. As any reader can telI, I was openly nervous about needles or feeling anything. The whole team is incredibly personable and they just do a really great job here. You should go to this dentist, I will miss them all when I move in a month!

My experience this week at Cherrydale Family Dental was as positive as going to the dentist could be. First of all, I love the newly remodeled. building. It’s very clean and modern and open and bright. They had a great soundtrack playing as well. I’m a musician, so I appreciated that. Chrystal is the quintessential receptionist: very friendly and engaging, yet still professional. Ingrid, the hygienist, who was new to me, also struck a great balance between professional interaction and friendliness. In fact, I can say that about all those with whom I interacted. This was my first appointment with Dr. Lobo, who came onboard since my last appointment. I had some issues that needed to be addressed in addition to my routine cleaning, and he treated them all in this one appointment, which has never happened previously to me. Very convenient. (That could have been COVID -related; perhaps fewer people are making dental appointments these days.) Al in all, a very good experience. I would be happy to refer friends or family to this practice.

I seldom have long to wait before Sally, the hygienist, gets me set up and begins cleaning my teeth. I admittedly don’t brush/floss as often as I should. So she always has to use scrapers, etc to remove the hardened crud (I can’t believe how hard plaque can get). I’m sure my tea-drinking does not help the color either. And a few years ago I had several cavities (had not been to a dentist in over 10 years because I had been cavity-free since birth for many decades). After a massive cleaning in several visits, Dr. Copeland filled those cavities with only slight discomfort. And now he and Sally see me twice a year to keep it that way. Definitely would recommend,this practice. Particularly since my MetLife coverage pays for the cleanings and regular X-rays
