My visit today was for a cleaning and checkup. Since we are all just crawling out from our homes to take care of medical and dental appointments I went to Dr. Throop without any hesitation. Her office is always very conscientious about safe health practices. The Covid 19 safe protocols were followed completely. I highly recommend her practice and assure you that you will receive excellent care.

The first time I went to City of Oaks was about 6 months ago, I’m always skeptical of new dentists (they usually scrape the life out of my gums and have a crazy waiting room). Upon arrival, the atmosphere was super friendly, not a long wait at all. I had my cleaning (my gums didn’t get scraped), xrays, and exam done. Ms. Vivian was super nice as soon as she walked into the room, she is also super informative. I had my second cleaning today and overall my oral care has improved since coming to this facility.

Can’t say enough about Dr. Throop and her staff! I have been self conscious of my smile for years. Dr. Throop whitened and then placed veneers on two of my front four teeth to correct my smile. Great local dentist! New to the area and will be back. Lots of easy parking and conveniently located across from Crabtree without being in Crabtree and their mess of parking. Lobby is comfortable, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The hygienist kept up conversation to help distract from the work being done and Dr. Throop was fantastic. When I started, it was Dr. Edwards..until I was about 20 years old.. then Dr. Makely took over the practice and was my dentist until just a few years ago.. I remember when Dr. Makely retired taking the time to find the right fit for the Practice.. I’ve always had great service! From the time I was a kid until now when Dr. Throop took the helm.. Everything at the Practice has always flowed smoothly and working with Dr. Throop you feel like she is there for you.. answering any questions you have about your dental care.. Especially as you get older and start have more dental issues that may need addressing.. Dr. Makely did a great job finding Dr. Throop to take over the practice..Just as the great care both Dr. Edwards and Makely have given me and my family all these years..I recommend Dr. Throop and her team to anyone who wants to receive a more personal touch to their dental care..
