Thinking about visiting the dentist stirs up alot of anxiety in people. Thoughts of pain and discomfort come to mind. Thankfully, Yani and Dr. Mandy made my entire experience quick and painless. Located a few blocks away from the famed Carnegie Hall, Unison Family Dental is easily accessible by most Express trains. The office itself is intimate and warm, relieving any mental stress triggers that may cause you to run away from a cleaning, which is good. Not to mention, the desk staff is extremely attentive to your needs and highly communicative. While I was running on no sleep from working an overnight shift and not having any dental work done in a few years, Yani and Dr. Mandy took those negatives in stride and were extremely efficient. They spoke plainly about my dental status and proceeded to provide immediate solutions. If you add both my time in the seating area and the dentist’s chair, I barely spent 30 minutes there in total. I was able to head back home and sleep peacefully knowing that I didn’t have to worry about my dental health. No more anxiety for me!

Great Dental Experience! Before coming to Dr. Mandy, I had not had the best dental experiences with dentist. I am quite sensitive about my teeth and gums and had not found a dentist that fully took that into consideration when providing dental care. Dr. Mandy heard me out, assessed my issues, and began her work. She explains everything before doing it and is also very warm and welcoming. She provides great advice and is also flexible with how she connects with you about appointments or other services you may need. Dr. Mandy gave me the best dental cleaning of my life when she actually gave me a deeper cleaning than just the normal oral prophylaxis! She and her staff are very welcoming. I had also some problems with my Groupon, however, she accommodated me and gave me the same Groupon price. My teeth has never been this white. She has the gentlest hands. Totally worth the visit. Total value for money. You can get more than what you paid for.

Dr. Mandy is amazing! Honestly, the best dentist I’ve ever had. She’s so nice, friendly, professional, patient… the list goes on. She’s also super helpful, and makes you feel really confident and comfortable with whatever kind of dental work you mind need. Great sense of humor too! The staff is great, as well. I just went in for my first visit with Dr. Mandy. Like most people, I never really looked forward to going to the dentist (stretching out appointments too far), but the experience with Dr. Mandy could change all that! She was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, personable and skilled. She was ready for me right at the appointed time and literally spent two hours with me, making sure her work was done at an ultra high quality level. All along the way, she showed caring and concern for my comfort and was enjoyable to converse with (when I didn’t have a mouthful of dental implements). I could not recommend her more highly and certainly wish I had done all my prior dental work with her. Dr Mandy won me over by her clear knowledge, professionalism and “bedside manner”. I knew I had a few prior dental issues but she immediately put me at ease and was very detailed about the work that was necessary, while communicating with me in a compassionate and non-alarming way. It’s a very small personalized office and differs from previous dentists that I’ve seen who have massively packed waiting rooms and rush you in and out as though One is merely a number being processed through a dental mill. With this practice, I’ve never had to wait for my appointment and Dr. Mandy took extra care to get to know me, my personal dental care history and issues.
