Like most people, I’m not excited to go to the dentist, but I look forward to seeing Dr. Clara. She’s skilled, straight forward and has a great personality. I’ve been to dentists in the past (and was not satisfied). But not Dr Clara, she’s been very honest about what I need now and what can wait. I happily recommend Dr. Clara regularly because she’s a person with integrity who takes pride in her work. I was asking her about Invisalign; she is VERY knowledgeable in this area. I had no idea that tooth health can impact so many other areas of my overall health. She has a friendly manner of sharing her knowledge without pushing you to make a decision. I’ve had nothing but great experiences at Coast Dental. To start off, my own dentist couldn’t get me in when I was experiencing unbearable pain while I was at work, so I called my brother who referred me to Dr. Clara. I found the experience at Coast Dental Group to be the best that I’ve experienced so far in my efforts to restore my gums. First off the staff is very friendly, the place is clean and stylish. Most importantly though my dentist explained things to me in every situation. With many dental groups (were unsatisfactory) I found this one to be much different. They will clearly communicate to you what you need to do and some alternatives if you want to improve your gums or teeth. In my situation I have gum problems. I was told there is a new treatment where they inject Minocycline into the gums and it reduces inflammation. I decided to try it and went back a few months later and my 6’s had gone down to 4’s, with substantially less bleeding. I am so happy about this as I have battled gum disease for much of my adult life. Now after a few months since the injections my gums are much healthier and hardly ever bleed. The timing was great too as once your gums get to 7’s or higher the damage can be irreversible. Thanks Coast dental Group you guys rock!

This review is long overdue as I’ve been seeing Dr. Clara for over 2 years now, which is the longest I’ve ever stayed with the same dentist! Dr. Clara and her staff are professional and make you feel comfortable. She’s never in a rush and takes her time talking to you and making you feel like a human being and not just another set of teeth. I’ve been to many dentists that when finding out I still have my upper wisdom teeth (which were never removed because my Ortho told me they would come down just fine, which they did) that I need to have them removed and they all even try to “up-sell” you on other things you don’t actually want or need. Not Dr. Clara! Unlike most dentists, she has a “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it” mentality, which I truly appreciate. She looked at my wisdom teeth and said she sees absolutely no reason to put me through all the time and pain of having them removed if they weren’t bothering me or causing problems. If your looking for a new Dentist I highly recommend Dr. Clara! You can count on the fact that your waking into a friendly environment and that she’s not going to put you through any unnecessary procedures, and have you leaving in tip-top shape!

Dr. Clara is the Dentist at our private practice in Cypress, CA. She has been practicing since 2006 and her approach to dentistry is to offer patients treatment plans that she would give to her own family. Prevention is key and the best approach for the longevity and health of your teeth. Dr. Clara spends a lot of one-on-one time with each patient to ensure that they understand the current state of their oral health. She is very conservative, informative, realistic, and up-front about each of her patients needs. Her goal is to educate all patients about their treatment options so that each patient leaves the office feeling confident about the choices they made regarding their dental health. Our focus here is getting back to basics. Personalized patient care, lots of one-on-one time with the doctor, and educating the patient on how to keep their gums and teeth healthy; as well as, your overall health is what we want for all of our patients.The best way to achieve this is open communication with your doctor.
