My family has been seeing Dr. Brown and the girls at Comfort Care since the mid 90’s when we moved to Vegas. My father had extreme perio problems and Dr. Brown did all of his work. There isn’t a single piece of work in my mouth that hasn’t been done there as a result. As an adult, everyone knows me and they are always friendly, really flexible and understanding with billing, and above all else, thorough. Every time my mom has an issue with a crown or abcess she simply calls and they have a prescription ready at her pharmacy so she can start treatment before they get her into the office. I make my boyfriend go there now, too! I recommend Dr. Brown and Marlaney (she replaced Kathleen for hygiene) if they take your dental plan or if you really need experienced and top notch care

One bad apple can spoil the whole bunch. Heavier set Mexican girl with lots of make up who takes the X-rays before the cleaning seems to have a bad attitude in general or is always mad at her coworkers, not sure which one. I say this because this office works hard to create a nice place for customers to come to as I have been coming since I was little but one assistant sticks out like a sore thumb. I meant to write this a week ago but the way I have seen this girl snap at some of her coworkers or respond to them like she knows better than them and may even have more knowledge than doctors is just plain rude! As a customer at this place I have seen her talk down to her fellow staff more than once as well as overheard gossip from her about the staff, customers hear more than they say. I am pretty sure she is also who answered the phone when I’ve made an appointment before because it was the same rude and dry know it all tone. Less make up, more knowledge and Less attitude, more friendliness! Still giving five stars because I love my doctor and hygienist. You can tell they really care about their patients, thank you guys.

From the big welcome when I walked in the door, to checking out, every single person was very warm and welcoming. The dental assistant was very good, gentle and attentive and Dr. Brown was amazing. He also was very friendly and explained what I needed to know. He didn’t go into mile long explanations but cut to the chase, which I liked. No pressure, just help and solutions. It was a piece of cake to get an appointment and to schedule a return appointment. If this is how they run their business all the time, I can honestly say this is the best dental office I’ve ever been in and I’ve been in MANY. Hopefully, the work I will be getting will be the same high quality as the service.

I absolutely hated visiting the dentist until my husband found Comfort Dental. I can tell the staff is very honest about your needs versus trying to force you to pay for unnecessary procedures. The dentist are all about pre-teaching and treating you like a human being. The hygiene, Jessica, is so personable. She’s very nice and patient. This office has helped me overcome my fears.

I found my self in a very urgent need of a good dentist after breaking a tooth on my flight to Las Vegas. I called Comfort Dental in hopes that they would be able to see me on a last minute notice on a Saturday morning. The office staff was amazing and told me to come in right away and they would see me, this is almost unheard of theses days and they could not have been nicer. When I arrived I was seen right away by Dr Brown who was extremely friendly and was one of the best dentist I have ever experienced. ( and I am terrified of dentists.). I wish I lived closer because I would come back for all my dental needs. You can’t find a better dental practice any where!!

Friendly Dentist & Great Care I am a person who HATES going to the dentist, but thankfully I have found Dr. Brown! He goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and I have had him do 3 crowns and 2 root canals and I have never felt a bit of pain. He is all about making his patients comfortable during scary procedures. He also is the kind of dentist who does NOT do procedures that are unnecessary. I feel like I am getting the best dental care of my life with him. Also the staff does not lecture you so you don’t have to be afraid if you have a cavity or if you haven’t had a cleaning in a while. The billing department will work with you to make sure your insurance pays the bill and they also have a payment plan if you don’t have insurance. Lots of options. The office is in downtown Las Vegas in an older building, but the office is very homey / comfortable and has state of the art equipment. A great dentist all around. Highly recommended!

I was in Las Vegas with family members who had flown from the East Coast when the unthinkable happened. The unthinkable quickly became an emergency situation. My sister was on the Casino floor when she bit down on something so simple and cracked her front tooth which is a porcelain crown. My sister is one of the toughest people I know, she went back to her room with crazy glue, a q-tip to fix it herself. As my sister debated how to go about applying poison onto her tooth inside of her mouth I arrived at the room to find distressed family members not really sure what to do. I quickly calmed my sister down, advised her I had my car in the parking garage and that I was going to take her to the dentist ASAP. I pulled out my Iphone, accessed my handy dandy ‘Yelp’ application and began the search for ‘Cosmetic Dentistry’ based on my current location which was the ‘Golden Nugget.’ I quickly found Dr. Brown @ Comfort Care Dental Group (which is open 7 days a week) only 0.8 miles away. I called the office and explained the situation, how my sister was due to fly back to East Coast the following morning to the staff and they were beyond helpful. The staff advised they did not have any available appointments for a few hours but would take my sister in as soon as humanly possible. Within minutes we were at the Dental Office. This dentist office is located right off of Las Vegas Blvd in the Downtown corridor with its own dedicated parking lot. We walked into the Office and were assisted right away. The staff quickly verified my sister’s insurance information and quickly took her back to an exam room. As I waited for my sister to be finished with her emergency appointment I looked around the office which was quite nice. I noticed a ‘2015 Dentist award of the year’ on the wall for Dr. Brown in both fields of Cosmetic & General Dentistry. There was a golden horseshoe over the door for luck (we were in Vegas) but most importantly there was a picture of a ‘Dragonfly’ on the wall which has significant meaning to both my sister and I. While in the waiting area/lobby I was able to watch TV, charge my sisters Iphone and sit in some pretty comfortable chairs. The reception staff with whom I had spoken to on the telephone and who made all of this happen in a timely manner offered me ‘cold’ bottled water which was fantastic because an hour or so prior I was in a Bikram Yoga class. Before I knew it my sister was finished with her emergency appointment. I was called back into the exam rooms by staff and met up with my sister who was closing out her deductible with the insurance care specialist. My sister had a temporary crown placed over the damaged tooth until she could arrive back on the East Coast and she her regular Dentist. My sister whose standards especially for Dentists is quite high described the Dentist, staff & Dental assistants as professional, nice, caring, clean and extremely knowledgeable. From the moment the ‘incident’ happened we were walking out of the door of the Dentist within 2 hours. There is no question that Dr. Brown and his staff at Comfort Care Dental Group saved the day. They literally saved the trip to Las Vegas from being a disaster and literally saved the trip as well as our families sanity. Immediately following the Dental visit any pain and/or discomfort regarding the damaged tooth was gone. Later that evening our family including my sister were at a sit down meal at Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse. My sister kept her food order pretty ‘soft’ as in soup and oysters but was still able to enjoy herself on her last night in Las Vegas which would of not happened without the extreme professionalism and quick service provided by Comfort Care Dental Group. There is no question if a Dental emergency situation ever arose again while in Las Vegas I would without question come back here. If you are a local a resident and don’t already have Comfort Care Dental Group as your primary care provided you might want to change that up. That day in particular I had been seeing ‘signs’ everywhere including that ‘Dragonfly’ on the wall of the Dentist. Later that evening I hit a penny slot machine for a pretty significant jackpot, just thought I would add that in this review because we were “SO LUCKY” to find this place. Top notch service start to finish, could not be more grateful for the help we received as a family from this group of professional strangers.
