Because of Dr. Chin, our kids actually enjoy going to the dentist and don’t have a hint of fear or anxiety when going! We’ve been seeing Dr. Chin since our oldest was a toddler. Our experience with Dr. Chin and his team continue to be excellent! The reception staff are friendly and attentive. The dental hygienists did an amazing job engaging our 7 and 3 y/o in age appropriate ways, making the cleaning and exam process fun and anxiety-free. They explained what they were doing each step of the way and educated our kids on how their teeth were doing and how to improve care for their teeth. This visit was for cleaning and check-up, so Dr. Chin just needed to do a quick dental exam after the cleaning rather then doing more extensive work, but he was very warm and engaging. He explained very clearly how our kids teeth were doing and what areas of concern we would need to watch out for. After everything, the kids received a goodie bag with toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, stickers, and a token to choose a free small toy. Dr. Chin knows how to take care of children really well, and it shows. This is a team of seasoned professionals who excel in their practice. I highly recommend Dr. Chin & Associates!

We absolutely love Dr. Chin’s office. They are so great with kids and really make being at the dentist a positive and fun experience. Dr. Chin and his associates do an excellent and thorough job. They show each child areas that need brushing and model how to brush correctly. My kids love receiving a token at the end of their visit and picking out a prize. I highly recommend Dr. Chin’s office.

I would highly recommend this group of pediatric dentists to anyone. They have a clean, comfortable child centered waiting room with a movie playing or plenty of toys. Everyone that works at the office has a wonderful and calm demeanor, which is huge. The entire office has this wonderful zen feel. There are plenty of books to help show the kids what will be happening when the dentist looks at their teeth. Their approach to children has been really well thought out and not just a bunch of toys in the rooms. Even their billing department is calm and incredibly organized so you are not spending additional time there at the end of your visit. Not that it would be a big deal because my child was so thrilled with receiving a balloon that she actually didn’t want to leave. Everyone here seems to enjoy what they do and that is great!

My kids have been clients of Dr. Chin since about 2003. It has always been a pleasant experience. The receptionist knows who is walking in the door and easily handles any insurance concerns. Maria keeps the office flowing smoothly. Of special note is Tara, who seems to be the lead dental hygienist. One of my kids has some odd needs, yet Tara makes the entire visit pleasant for them. Is it ok to adore your dental hygienist?! This office is exceptional. I am fortunate to have been able to bring my kids to Dr. Chin’s for so many years

I took my daughter here for a check up. I thought the staff was excellent and Dr. Chin was very patient, gentle, and addressed all my questions. I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this place! My friends also go here and they have all had positive experiences. I also appreciate that the place is kept very clean and full of books and toys for the kids. My daughter was also very happy to receive a balloon at the end of her visit.

Best pediatric dental practice ever! Dr Chin and staff are patient, kind and knowledgeable. The office is warm and welcoming!! Everyone has been wonderful with all 3 of my children, including my son with special needs!! My oldest, now 22, has has been a patient for 19 years, just recently graduating to the general dentist. Our son’s first trip to the dentist was at the tender age of one! He was apprehensive at first, but Dr. Chin performed the exam quickly and professionally, and before my son could develop a phobia, the exam was finished! He was happy to go back to doing what one year olds do best: PLAY! 🙂 Dr. Chin also answered all of my first-time mother’s questions and concerns, especially regarding thumb-sucking and how it will affect my son’s teeth, and allayed my fears. The office staff is also professional and friendly, and the office wait room has lots of fun toys, books and a kid-friendly movie for the kids, and lots of current magazines for the parents. Even the restroom has sinks for kids and pre-pasted toothbrushes! There are definitely a lot of nice little touches, so that this pediatric dental office is warm and inviting for the children. I would definitely recommend Dr. Chin to any one in the Foothill/San Gabriel Valley area looking for an excellent pediatric dentist!

My son has been going to Dr. Chin since he has had teeth. He is now 15. The staff are all great with kids. When our son’s tooth brushing habits weren’t great, they encouraged him to improve them in a positive manner. We found our orthodontist through them. The two offices have coordinated treatments. This is a great place to take your kids (and teens). My children have been going to Dr. Chin since they were young. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Chin’s office!! My 12 year old son had his first appointment with Dr. Chin today. His staff is amazing and sweet. The RDA, Adriana was wonderful with my son. Great dentist, lovely staff, front and back office. One of my kids was absolutely terrified and refused treatment. Eventually, we rescheduled. He had to be given a little pill for his anxiety, then, what I guess we used to call “laughing gas”. All went well. Had his 4 (yikes! don’t tell anyone) cavities filled, and now has no problem whatsoever. He actually likes going because of all the diversions.

Best pediatric dentist in Glendale area. When our kid was a baby, we used to go see him from Atwater Village. After we moved to Culver City for a few years, we have moved back to area and have been back to his office. Always professional and kind. His team is always pleasant and professionals as well!
