I had a dental emergency and my daughter told me to try her dentist because she really likes him. I found Dr. Kim and his staff to be very solicitous and caring. They were very considerate of the fact that I am on crutches and have health issues. I was very nervous when I went in but Dr. Kim and his staff made me feel at ease. I was also relieved that I did not have to go to an endodontist to have a root canal. Dr. Kim did it the very day that I went in. He was very gentle and I barely felt a thing while he was working on me. I would highly recommend Dr. Kim and Dental Care of Oceanside to anyone who may feel apprehensive about going to the dentist.

My previous dentist said I needed an implant but will have to travel between 2 dentists just to get the implant done. So I did a Google search and came to know about Dental Care of Oceanside and Dr Kim has a focus on dental implant. I was very impressed by Dr Kim’s skill and all his staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr Kim was sincere and told me that I don’t need an implant as opposed to my previous dentist and recommended saving the tooth by just crowning. (“Your original tooth is God’s best gift” – Dr Kim’s words.) Front desk ladies were also very nice & helpful and even assist my FSAFEDs claim without having to ask. I’ll be switching my dental plan to be on Dr Kim’s network come the next healthcare open enrollment season.

My son is terrified of the dentist, but needed two teeth pulled. We took him to see Dr Kim and he and his team were AMAZING. They got both teeth out, although my son refused novocaine, and they were able to do it without a single tear. I was so impressed with their patience, professionalism, and bed side manner. We are moving out of town, but I we wont see another dentist now. The drive is well worth it!

Dr. Kim and his staff are an amazing group. The talent of the Dr. is very noticeable, especially when you’ve had a lot of dental work throughout life as I have. They deserve every bit of 5 stars. The best part is how they handled my son. He requires a lot of patience and extra care, they didn’t hesitate to establish repore with him first, he let them do more in one sitting (first visit) than he has allowed any other dentist prior. Highly recommended. I’ve been to see Dr. Kim twice now. He filled three cavities. I had no pain or discomfort. The entire staff is professional and good at communicating. They took before and after pictures of the tooth they worked on so I could see the improvement. And, they have really cool, shiny new equipment! My family and I have kept the same dentist (Dr. Martinez) for almost two decades, so we were saddened when she retired. Dr Kim took over the clinic, with tons of positive words about him from Dr. Martinez. When I had 3 teeth implants with Dr Kim, he surpassed my expectations. I have a bad bone loss in my mouth, which can make it difficult for teeth implants, but his expertise and diligence throughout the procedure showed me how much he cared and helped me stay relaxed throughout. I highly recommend this doctor whenever you want to take care of your dental needs. Bravo zulu Dr Kim.

This dental office is such a hidden gem! I have searched for so long ever since we’ve moved to Oceanside for a new dental office. I am SO grateful that I came across Dental Care of Oceanside.
