Best dental clinic ever. Where else can u find a friendly staff of employees and dentists? Pro: Netflix, vibrating heated chair, Taylor – best hygenist, Dr Chang and Dr Keh. They don’t rush you. Appointments are pretty on time. They answer all your questions. No pain or very little. Curavue – tool that can see if u have cavities by just scanning your teeth. Clean and modern feel. I feel Dr. Chang and Keh really want to take care of me when I’m there. Con: location, NYC – maybe consider opening another office in nj?

I absolutely love this dental office! Dr Nina and the rest of the staff are always communicative, helpful and pleasant. I’ve had to have more than a bit of work done after some time of neglect and it’s all been painless and each time I come back I see a significant improvement in my oral health. I never have to wait after arriving for my appointment. The facility is clean and there are TVs to let you watch Netflix as you get work done. I highly recommend this dental office to anyone looking down stellar dental care.

I usually don’t write reviews unless I’m very unhappy about the experience, my bad I know, but I’m so happy I found this practice and they have been taking great care of me for years that I feel this the the least I can do to say thank you. I was referred to Dr. Chang by another dentist friend that was also a patient of Dr. Chang, I’m very picky when it comes to choosing a dentist and I know there are many different levels of dental care, and my dad is a dentist back home so I’ve learned a lot from him. There are dentists who are good and and they are dentists who are great and phenomenal, and Dr. Chang is the just amazing at her work and bedside manner. Needless to say, great dental work means long lasting dental heath and little damage to the teeth. Dr. Chang always takes her time with me and explains my dental health thoroughly and if I have any question she is always happy to answer. She takes photos of my teeth and my dad said she is a doc that goes above and beyond. She doesn’t need to and she did, this is called detail oriented and attention to detail, who doesn’t want their doc to care about the teeth and patients so much? . Dr. Chang did ask me if i would like to see these photos before showing me cause she understands not everyone is ready to see their own teeth this way. During the exam and treatments, she is not only fixing my problems but also gave me recommendations how to prevent the problems in details. I was never rushed and I know she reserves 60-90 mins of her time for each patient, that’s amazing and i have time to discuss with her my needs and go through my options. When my dad saw Dr. Chang’s work, he was amazed, he even said that for this kind of quality work and time spent on treating and caring for me as a patient, I got a great deal for the crowns and root canal treatment I got cause his buddies who does high quality dentistry like this charge much more. He looked at the work that was done and said her work is very minimally invasive and greatly preserved the tooth structure to the best extent and this way the tooth is enhanced and will last much longer. I saw other reviewer complained about the cancellation fee, I totally understand cause I got charged once, but they waived my first cancellation fee and when I had to cancel the second time, I think it’s fair to pay for the cancellation after all the doc and the staff have reserved an hour and more for you to see you. I wish airline company gave me the same courtesy! Anyway, can’t believe I typed this much but I really appreciate the quality of work and they take time to take care of me.

I just left the office after having a wisdom tooth extraction. Let me start out by saying that due to a horrible dental experience (not at this practice) a couple of years ago while getting a root canal I became petrified of dentists. Since then, I looked around but never felt comfortable enough with anyone. I work across the street from serenity dental and one of my co-workers referred them to me when I complained of a toothache. After my first visit Dr. Chang suggested I get the wisdom tooth pulled. I made the appointment for a few days later and worried myself sick. Fast forward to today and let me tell you it was the best experience I have ever had at a dental office. The extraction was completely pain free and stress free. I am so happy to finally find a dentist I could trust. My fear is gone. Thank you Dr. Chang and serenity dental.

I signed on for pre-surgical braces for at least 18 months, so obviously I’m a fan of this place! I need to get jaw alignment surgery and the preparation for that is really perfect. Little by little, my teeth are changing for the better. I’m so excited for every adjustment, even though braces are infinitely painful, because it means I am one step closer to beautiful teeth. Like most, I should have had braces at 12, but here I am in my thirties with them 😛 We had a teeth cleaning here as well and they were squeaky clean. There was a big misunderstanding with our insurance; but they were so quick to help resolve it and for that we are so grateful. I can’t forget to say how amazing they were with my 2 year old at the time as well – she was with us while we were getting our cleanings and they set her up with a cartoon, support, and a snack. It was so nice and caring! I definitely recommend this place! They’re so friendly and meticulous, which is really appreciated since I have to see them every 4-6 weeks for 18+ months!

Visiting Dental Serenity of Manhattan is such a good experience. I went in last time to do a deep cleaning for my teeth. The process of teeth cleaning is smooth and with no-pains because Dr. Nina and her staff are so careful and caring when performing the tooth-cleaning , which I feel so confident that they can do equally good job on other dental procedure as well.  I will be back for more.  Thanks.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Chang for a year and she’s really someone who I can trust and rely on. She’s always very careful and looking into details during treatments. She did the Invisalign treatment for me, and I’m very happy with what I got so far – my teeth became healthier, whiter, and even.  Now I can smile confidently. I truly appreciate Dental Serenity!

All the positive reviews are accurate, Dental Serenity is a different kind of practice. Not only are the staff highly professional and caring, but they take the patient experience to another level. For example, they have a room with a TV hanging from the ceiling equipped with Netflix for longer procedures. They use cameras to show patients before and after pictures for cleanings and dental work. They are upfront, detailed and transparent about cost. Here’s my story to solidify this review – at the height of the pandemic in March, I was experiencing severe pain in my lower jaw. Dental Serenity had me in the office on an emergency appointment within a couple days. The Dr. and her assistant spent hours and even multiple visits to perform a root canal and subsequent crown. All of this during the early anxious stages of Covid when NYC was in complete lock down. Kudos and gratitude to them and this practice!!

I started going to Dr Nina for my dental treatment about 5 years ago and never felt regretted. Dr Nina is the best dentist I’ve been with. She’s super nice, gentle and sweet. She’s Very professional and always happy to answer all your questions. The staffs are very nice too. It’s always a pleasure to see them. The office is also Very beautiful. I recommend the place to every one

This was definitely the best dentist visit I have ever experienced. I hadn’t been to the dentist in years and needed a thorough check up and cleaning, and everybody in the office was so friendly. Dr. Chang was kind and explained everything so that I could easily understand what my issues are and what my options are. And the office itself is really beautiful. I will definitely be back.

After years of going to different dentist I finally found everything I’ve been looking for. Dr. Chang and her staff are amazing. She took time to explain all my options for treatment and answered every question I had. Her office manager and front staff are professional and always try to accommodate the patient as best they can.

Best Dentist office in the city! HANDS DOWN! This office is like an All-star team everyone is super cool and is great at their job! Jen and Teresa(Front desk Team) are very polite and friendly; helped me fill out documents super-fast and explained everything that had to do with my insurance. Then I met with Christian(Dr. Chang Dental Assistant) super cool guy and he took a serious number of top notch pictures and X-rays for my files. I’ve never had that done before, that’s how I starting noticing the difference and mind you I’ve had horrible experiences with the dentist in the past so I anticipated a regular appointment where the Dr. tells me what is wrong and tries to fix it without explaining what she is going to do. I was totally wrong. Once I met Dr. Chang, she took me through the process step by step and before any move she will explain to me what she will be doing. Simply the best. Went through major procedure that day and NO PAIN at all! They also have a 24 hour phone for any questions you have while recovering. Glad to say she’s my dentist…DR. CHANG YOU THE REAL MVP! 

Absolutely amazing service from start to end! I can’t express how grateful I am for the kind support from the front desk staff, hygienists and dentist. The entire office is friendly, helpful and so humane. I’ve been coming to this office for nearly two years now, and it’s the absolute best experience I’ve ever had. I rarely take time to write review, but there is truly no business I’d recommend more highly than Dental Serenity of Manhattan.

Love Dental Serenity of Manhattan! I first found Dental Serenity in mid 2017 after an emergency broken veneer left me hanging with my family dentist saying that he can’t see me until the next day but I had an important event that very night! I was calling everyone in the early afternoon all frantic and all I got were ‘no’s. Pretty dejected, I tried Dental Serenity and the receptionist put me on hold. She came back on the phone and said yes come in, Dr. Chang will see you! So relieved, I worked with her to get all my insurance over and everything went smoothly. I met Dr. Chang and is it weird that I fell a little bit in love with her? She was so kind and nice, I almost forgot I was at the dentist’s. She throughly went over everything in detail and was so gentle with everything that she did and fixed my tooth all in less than two hours! Such a relief! Needless to say, I switched over to Dr. Chang as my regular dentist and haven’t looked back since! I always find their staff on top of things, the office is beautiful, and I just feel like I’m getting well taken care of. I have a health issue where I have to take really good care of my teeth and I know that I do with Dental Serenity. I’ve had cleanings with Taylor and she is so great too. I love that she shows me a before and after which really helps me understand what is going on. As Dr. Chang is away on maternity leave, I am now with Dr. Romney. Super happy about that as well as he seems very knowledgeable, experienced and also super gentle. I am so happy that I even referred my husband here. He has been there for a check up and a cleaning and very satisfied as well.

I’ve been afraid of going to the dentist for years, and I am so glad I found this place. Dr. Chang was fantastic – and so was the entire office! Dr. Chang took the time to explain everything to me, and was extremely friendly and patient. Cleaning/consultation was very through, and the office was clean, modern and comfortable.

Dental Serenity was the most incredible Dental experience I’ve come across. The staff was so friendly and professional. It was my first visit and they took dental X-rays of my entire mouth, actual photo images for ‘before’ images. Then they proceeded with the cleaning. I have super sensitive teeth to cold air and instead of using the automatic dental equipment, the dental hygienist did everything manually, which I was so grateful for. Dr. Chang came in after the cleaning and went over all the x-rays and images of my teeth with me one by one and went over each tooth individually in regards to any work that needed to be done. She answered any questions I had very patiently and in depth and answered any alternative treatment method questions that came up. She gave me her professional opinion but never did she try to force a course of action but rather asked what I felt comfortable doing moving forward. A truly incredible experience and hope to move forward with working with Dr. Chang and her incredible staff

I have been a patient at Dental Serenity for over two years now. I always received wonderful care from the dentists and staff there. At one point, the practice was out of my insurer’s network, but I still went there for my regular checkups and major dental work (thankfully they are back in-network for me). I have also recommended Dental Serenity to family, friends, and co-workers who have all reported great experiences there.

ABSOLUTELY amazing location! I honestly hated going to dentists until this appointment , the staff is beyond friendly and very very welcoming. The process and cleaning was heavenly not only did I not feel a thing but I WATCHED NETFLIX! In process. The tech was definitely too notch as well very clean and modern . Last but not least the very detailed explanation of whats going on in my mouth minus the pressure unlike my previous meet and greets with dentists (butchers) I will be recommending many patients this way and I myself will continue to loom forward to appointments for the first time in my life thank you for the awesome experience. 🙂

Thank you Dr. Chang for fixing my smile!! I live in TX but was visiting My sister in NYC and chipped a tooth. We called the office and they were getting ready to close, but Dr. Chang stayed for us until I got there, and was able to fix my tooth within an hour. It looks perfect and I’ve had no problems since then. I went back to Texas for a follow up and my regular dentist didn’t even know which tooth had been chipped when he looked at it! I’m glad they were so accommodating and even able to verify my insurance quickly so I didn’t have to pay a lot out of pocket. Highly recommend.

I was referred by my cousins. All the staff is welcoming. I first had an apt with Dr. Chang who was attentive and thorough. I then was assigned to Dr. Romney Piamonte who is professional, friendly, patient and gentle. He and his assistant made sure I was comfortable ( I watched Netflix on their tv that is on the ceiling). For your first visit, ask how long it will take. I didn’t and was there for over 2 hours in the chair. Both doctors examined and explained what was going on in my mouth; they take a lot of pictures/x-rays. I also had a cleaning. I felt more informed about my own dental health. I’m not sure if I opted in for text alerts but they do send a lot of appt reminders, which actually came in handy on one of my visits. I was able to text them that I was running late. Based on my particular situation, they provided me with a ‘menu’ of short/long term procedures + costs which I found to be helpful in making a decision and/or getting a second option. Dr. Piamonte has excellent bedside manners. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now. I’ve recommended Dental Serenity to a colleague and she is now one of their patients.

I have been to Dental Serenity several times this year so far. Each time I came in, I was greeted with a friendly smile. The hygienist cleans my teeth so well. She really gets all my stains out. Dr. Chang is pleasant and explains my recommended treatment in detail and shows me photos which is great so I can see why I need the work. The front desk receptionist and the assistants are always helpful when I have questions.

I went to Dental Serenity to make impressions for invisalign retainers since my normal dentist does not do them. The office staff was super friendly and made sure I had all the paperwork and insurance information prior to starting the work. Dr. Chang spent a large amount of time checking my teeth and taking photos to explain to me where and how to care for my teeth. I had some unexpected issues and Dr. Chang and the entire office was so caring and thorough to make sure they explained my options and I understood what was happening. Thanks Dental Serenity!!

Very professional and took the time to explain any problems or issues in detail. Always made sure I was comfortable. The technology used there was great and convenient. The receptionist was very pleasant as well as the dental assistant. Although this is only after 1 visit, I think I may have found my new dentist!
