The place is great from the moment you walk in to when you sit in the dreaded chair….the staff make you feel welcomed and all the dread and fear disappears. Sundar is amazing he is gentle and does not judge you, advises what you need to get done now and what can be done later. Very honest and professional. Highly recommend Dentiq even if you fear going to the dentist, take the first step and meet this team, you wont regret it.

The team here at Dentiq are amazing!! We had an emergency on Saturday with my mother’s front teeth falling out and Dr Sundar did the utmost best to help her feel better and assure that they could create a plate in the next few days and as my parents were about to embark on a months trip to the South Island the next day he made sure to get their itinerary so he could send it straight to them and help them find a dentist closest to where they will be at the time to fit the new plate. This team is truly a caring bunch as they had a lot of emergency’s coming through and you could hear their dedication to helping everyone out where they could. Thank you so much for being amazing and caring for your patients team.

We were up in Napier on holiday from Wellington when our 6 year old chipped her tooth and it was really painful. The team at Dentiq fitted her in the day we called and were so amazing with her. Treated the chipped tooth in the least invasive way, meant our usually anxious daughter had a stress free visit and her first proper dental treatment was a really positive experience!

Sundar I trust to give me the best advice and dental work a patient could possibly want. The team are always warm welcoming, happy to answer questions and the workmanship is second to none! Organised an emergency extraction of a broken tooth and massive infection in level four lockdown, incredible service, incredible care, incredible after care, constantly reminded of my follow ups, constantly comforted to make sure I’m gonna turn up, given a prescription and help me with nerves, thankyou for patting my arm, thankyou for being patient, thankyou for taking care of me and meeting me in the carpark because I couldn’t have a support person in level 4 and was scared. Honestly? wow you guys. 11/10 from your incredible receptionist to your wonderful dentists and the lovely assistants I don’t know the professional name for sorry

Highly recommend Dr Sundar and his team, I had the misfortune to lose my 4 front teeth while passing through hawkes bay and was about to head to wellington to catch the ferry to the south island. It was not a good look when embarking on a months holiday and not a quick fix especially on a saturday, but Dr Sundar relieved my anxiety very quickly and came up with a solution. He was extremely caring and obliging. He was the BEST DENTIST.

All the staff at Dentiq are friendly, compassionate, kind and professional. Sundar and his assistant Morgan are a great team. He talks your treatment options through and gives you plenty of info and advice to make a decision on treatment so you feel like you are informed and involved. They even provide a massage chair if you’re feeling stressed!!

Sundar and his team are fantastic. Each visit is personalised for me and different from other dentists iv ever been to. The treatments I’m currently receiving are about longterm mouth health & I’m educated every step of the way, rather than patch and dispatch that other dentists use. they are professional, friendly and very good at what they do! I would suggest anyone who wants to improve their oral health visit Dentiq. They even have a massage chair to relax in while waiting either before or after treatment!

Happy mouth – Happy life – I recommend Dentiq I have had 2 porcelain crowns fitted, a porcelain bridge and small plate made. I am your typical kiwi….not that enthusiastic about going to the dentist. I did however need some work done and heard of this new place opening in the area. I met Sundar and his lovely assistant Morgan. From the second I walked in they both made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Friendly and lovely genuine people, as are all the other workers there that I have dealt with. Sundar extracted 3 of my teeth and did such an amazing job I did not need any pain relief after the anaesthetic wore off. I had been made a plate prior to this which I am extremely happy with. Sundar personally assured me he would never let me leave and have missing teeth visible. I would highly and happily recommend going to visit Dentiq for any of your dental needs. 🙂

Having an experienced dentist in Napier with equally qualified, experienced staff puts Dentiq Dental at the forefront of oral care and hygiene in Hawke’s Bay. Our passion to provide affordable, quality dental care is what drives us to reach out to the wider Napier community. We all deserve an amazing smile! It’s my pleasure to introduce myself to you; I graduated my Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Chennai in 2002. Then continuing to do a mixture of general dental practice and teaching clinical dentistry at Manipal University I finished a Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Oral Implantology from Manipal University in 2007. Also in November of the same year I did my NZDREX at School of Dentistry in Otago and since been in General Dental Practice in New Zealand. In November 2018 I graduated from the world renowned Kois Centre in Seattle USA to bring the latest and state of the art dentistry to ‘you’ my valued patient. I am happily married to Anu Sundar since 2007, we have a delightful son, Jonathan and a princess Jenuka, and the family is complete with our beloved golden retriever Maple.
