I have been seeing Dr. Howell since I moved back to Huntsville 4 years ago. The first week I was here, I developed a gum boil. Dr. Howell was able to see me the same day I called, and took care of the problem. She is very personable, professional, and thorough. All the members of her staff are very pleasant and knowledgable. The office is centrally located, and is clean and nicely decorated. My hygienist is Patty Hayes. She is very thorough and has never caused me any discomfort. She is also very pleasant. I would highly recommend Dentistry Downtown.

If you are looking for a happy staff from every single person in an office, you need to go see Dr. Howell and her staff. I’ll drive 30 minutes from Harvest to downtown HSV for dental services. Hands down the absolute best! You get a tour, treats and everything is explained in detail (If you like that) or bottom line deal. Riley, Jennifer (I think) to Mrs, Beddingfield to the lady that checked me out get kudos from me!!! Thank you and I love my teeth!! The best way I can explain it is, I walked into home! I hated to leave abs I usually have a huge fear of the dentist!

Dr. Rebecca Howell is an exceptional dentist that I have gone to for over 20 years. She is very sensitive to her patient’s needs and concerns. Like the little sign on the ceiling of the treatment room says “We cater to cowards” makes the experience the best I’ve ever had in a dental office. Seriously the best dentist. I called on a Friday morning in serious pain. I called and they got me in that afternoon. They took care of me and eased my anxiety tremendously. Long story short some antibiotics and I was better. This morning I woke up I severe toothache. A Saturday. Labor Day weekend. I called and left a voicemail for the dentist and she called in antibiotics for me. On a Saturday. On Labor Day weekend. Please if you need to be seen go see Dr. Howell.

I am amazed by Dr. Howell and her entire staff. I’ve never had a great experience with a dental office until being referred to Dentistry Downtown. My first appointment felt like a blind date with how much they wanted to get to know me! It was clear that they truly care about their patients and providing comfort to them. I will always refer people to Dr Howell, and I will not be switching dentists for a long time. I’ll add that Dr. Howell did an amazing job on my teeth and referring me to a phenomenal orthodontist.

Dr.Howell and her staff are absolutely amazing. I went to them due breaking a tooth and had terrible nerve pain. They came up with a plan of action quickly and had me in to see the oral surgeon and had surgery to remove the infected teeth ,done years ago, in the same week. She was also very fast and accommodating with her pain control.Her dental blocks work amazing and got me through one of the most painful experiences I have ever been through. In the past id lost faith with Dentists due to them pushing the most expensive options on me only to have months of pain and complications with a heavy bill. However Dr. Howell and her staff are very personal, kind, compassionate and are very transparent and straight foward with what you need medically vs whats in your budget and time. Needless to say I am forever greatful for her and her staff and I cant, for once in my life, wait to get the rest of my teeth fixed and to have my smile back once again. Since the late 80’s early90’s I been wearing dentures, I been to at least 14 different Dentist including 1 Prosthodontist and none including the specialist could make Dentures that fit and stay in until: I met Dr. Howell. Dr. Howell not only made A Denture that would fit but it also stays in without moving, I have A class 3 Bite that none other than Dr. Rebecca H. Howell could make A Denture. Dr. Howell has the Best staff I ever met, they are very friendly,courteous and professional, they have all your information up front so all you need to do is be at your appointment knowing what to expect .

I’ve been going to Dentistry Downtown before it was Dentistry Downtown, but Dr. Howell has been my dentist for as long as she has had this practice. I have to say I’ve received nothing but excellent care from her and the staff. From routine cleanings (great job Nicole!) to more complex dental issues I’ve had no complaints, although I may have given them something to complain about a few times! Thankfully everyone strives to make the visit as pleasant as possible. I would recommend Dr. Howell and the entire staff to anyone in need of a dentist or anyone looking for a new one.

I always have a great experience at Dentistry Downtown with Dr. Rebecca Howell! The staff are all very courteous, friendly, and inviting. My hygienist is awesome. Everything is very clean which is always an absolute must. Even more so with the covid 19 pandemic, I love the EXTRA cleanliness and precautions taken. Prescreen/exposure questions, temperature checks, handwashing, glove wearing, double masks, face guards/shields, and even sanitizing/disinfecting TWICE after every patient. My internal germaphobe is satisfied lol. Great service and hospitality! I recommend Dentistry Downtown for all.

Dr. Rebecca Howell will not pressure you into anything and will discuss additional procedures. I have Delta dental and this place takes care of filing for you. Awesome people and awesome place. Went back for my six month cleaning, this time was a little different. COVID-19 precautions were definitely in place here. I love this place! They do excellent work. They are compassionate and understanding. And they make you feel like family. I never get dirty looks because I sometimes have purple hair or super short hair. I always get professional treatment. I have been coming here for a few years and am bringing my son with me.
