Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They explained everything in detail and game be several options based on my medical insurance. There were no hidden charges or up-charges. I’ve been going to Dentistry of Nashville ever since I moved here in 1999. They have always provided the best of dental care. The office is immaculate, the waiting room is comfortable, they always take me on time. I couldn’t ask for better care. Dr. Fleming is my dentist and Erin is my hygienist. I have been taken care of by Dentistry of Nashville for years. Yesterday Dr Vaughn worked me in since cap on prosthetic tooth had come off and was lost. Fashioned new cap with computer assistance. I have wicked anxiety when it comes to dental needs and this place soothes all of it. I love them so much that when my new dental insurance wasn’t accepted here, I was willing to pay out of pocket. I have seen Dr. Vaughan a few times over a very long period of time – just moved back to Nashville. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The biggest thing I’ve noticed that is different from other practices I’ve visited is they take actual time to discuss treatment options. As to the previous reviews discussing reception staff, I can’t really speak to that as I’ve only really signed in and the follow up was handled by the hygienists. Practice is also very flexible; I’ve had 3 visits in less than 2 weeks to get everything sorted out.

I had an urgent need due to profuse gum bleeding and his assistant got me in a first thing appt on a Monday. Dr Vaughn diagnosed an infection and I was promptly prescribed antibiotics. Dr Vaughn is not one to do so “just because” so I new this was serious business. I could not be with a better dental practice. Dr Vaughn and his staff is awesome!

As a physician myself, I am choosy. Dr. Vaughan has been my dentist for years. He is gentle, kind, and caring. He is a person of high integrity and a quality dentist. The office is very nice and comfortable and I have noticed that it seems no patients seems to wait in the waiting area very long at all. The staff is professional and friendly. Appointments are made easy for you and come with reminders. Through years of routine dental maintenance with a few problems identified and remedied, it has been a pleasant experience with no unnecessary procedures. In addition, I really like the convenient location.

I’ve known the people who worked with Dr Elam since my kids (who now are in their 40’s) were in same school as were his – such good good people. I loved his wife, and so sorry to learn she’d died recently. Dr. Vaughn has been one of the kindest people I’ve known and even has run free times near his home where people can be helped there during a day routinely. I surely have felt totally confident that they know what their doing and they will honor my call on weekend when tooth broke! I could say more good things but I definitely know one can trust their ability and care!

I have never written a Yelp review, but this place was so fabulous that I felt like I needed to. This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had at a dentist, EVER. I complained of a toothache and they went out of their way to get me in that same day (as a new patient). They looked at my tooth, and decided I needed a root canal. So, they did it that day! It did not hurt at all because they were diligent about making sure I was not in pain, even though I had a “hot tooth.” Plus, it was quick! Then my insurance was giving me problems, so they stayed on the phone with my insurance for 20 minutes. Everyone was so kind, especially Jan (who invited me to her Thanksgiving dinner because I couldn’t go home). I wish all dental experiences were as painless as this one!

Non-urgent suggestions for my teeth (e.g., whitening, etc.) were presented but not pushed on me and I felt like everything about my teeth was explained patiently in a way that I could understand.
