I was referred to this dentist from my niece as I have never liked dental visits and have had bad experiences every time I try a new one. I can say this was a fantastic experience from the time I called to make the appointment the staff answering the the phones were super friendly and helpful to my appointment day which they were able to get me in within two days. Dr. Brittain is an outstanding dentist he is professional and personal gives it to you straight forward without making you feel bad for not going to the dentist. I would highly recommend this office hands down.

I recently moved to Scottsdale and met Dr. Brittain at a tennis court.  It was perfect timing as I needed to find a dentist.  Unfortunately, I am a big sissy about going to the dentist and would consider myself a difficult patient.  Dr. Brittain’s delicate care has cured my fears and made for a fantastic experience.  I was even called back on the day after Thanksgiving to see if I was feeling any discomfort and invited in to the office for care!  I would suggest Dentistry of Old Town Scottsdale to anyone in need of treatment.

From the moment I walked into the lobby the staff displayed a level of professionalism that you don’t get to see everyday. Each staff member that I came into contact with gave me a handshake and said, “Welcome to our business”. I don’t normally enjoy going to the dentist, but this has been the complete opposite. They made me feel very comfortable and confident that I was going to be happy with my experience, and I was!  So I set up an appointment for my 9 year old son on the way out. Since then we have both been in to have work done. My son need one filling and he took it very well, then trotted off to school like nothing ever happened. I started with a deep cleaning from Bobbie Lynn Tucker , RDH.  She was very nice and personable, did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth, not to mention gentle. I was never in any pain either during or after the procedure.  My following visit was with Dr. Brittian, DDS.  I needed a few fillings and I am very pleased with his work. Again gentle and quick.  My teeth look beautiful and feel wonderful. They were great with explaining all the costs and have cool perks like a Rewards Program.  I also liked the glass back wall that gives the patient a private calm view of the outdoors. The flat screens are cool too, but my only complaint is that when I asked quite seriously if they could change the channel, ( I dislike sport shows a lot) they were not going to budge. That might be something they want to work out. Other than that I really would recommend  them to everyone.

I have been seeing Dr, Brittian and his associates for the past two years.  I have been overwhelmingly pleased the quality and care of the service.  Dr. Brittian is exceptionally dedicated and accomplished in his practice.  He is caring, respectful, and creates a safe, comfortable environment.  I want to further acknowledge this last portion, as many people, myself included, can feel a sense of discomfort when it comes to dentistry.  Dr. Brittian realize and respect these concerns and do everything in their power to make the process of pleasant as possible.  Moreover, with regard to financial matters, the prices are incredibly reasonable and many different forms of insurance are accepted.  As a student on aetna’s vital savings plan, I was very pleased with my savings as well as Dr. Brittian and his staff’s commitment to impeccable, sound treatment.  In closing, I would also like to acknowledge how wonderful and inviting Dr. Brittian’s team is.  Dallas and Liz are wonderfully kind and attentive.  I fully endorse Dentistry of Old Town Scottsdale as a remarkable business of both provision and care.

During my first visit I was a little nervous, but upon entering and noticing the atmosphere and accommodations I felt more at ease. The employees there were professional, courteous and very pleasant to talk to. I never felt like just another customer they had to deal with just to go about their day. They all made me feel very comfortable, no more so , who’s bright eyes and soothing voice had me feeling like a friend in her care than someone just sitting in the dental chair. The Dentist was an absolute pro, only taking seconds to read and act on the task at hand. His speed and skill made me feel reassured that I was in capable hands, if not the best. I will continue to return there and will always recommend them to pretty much anyone I talk to about it.

I visited Dentistry of Old Town Scottsdale for the first time today and it is AMAZING! The office is clean and the staff are inviting and friendly. My cleaning was quick and effortless, and they even managed to fill two small cavities in the same visit! They are transparent with costs, and honest about what needs to be done versus what can wait/isn’t something to be worried about. They are informative about conditions and procedures and provided the “why” behind all of their recommendations. I’ve had a few bad experiences with shady dentists pushing unnecessary procedures or doing poor work, so I always get anxiety when going, but I was super comfortable here. I’ll definitely continue visiting Dentistry of Old Town Scottsdale for all of my cleanings and dental care needs.

This was absolutely the best dental experience i’ve ever had. I’m just visiting Phoenix and was experiencing some horrible tooth pain. A friend referred me here and when I called and explained my situation was told to come right in. A short while later I was signed in and Dr. Brittain was examining teeth. He took the time to explain everything to me and gave me several options on how to handle my situation given my time restraints. I am very happy with the work he did and how suprisingly painless it was. When he was through, . I would recommend this office to everyone. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful and I WISH I could find a dentist like this in my home town. Much thanks to everyone for fitting me in on short notice and getting me taken care of so efficiently!

I had an issue with my insurance. Prior to my first ever appointment, the office called to confirm that they were in network (so that I didn’t have to), and then later my insurance changed their mind and I got billed several hundred dollars. When I called the office to ask about what had happened they said they’d look into it, and I never expected to hear from them again. Instead I got a letter saying that although they would continue to look for a reason why this happened, in the mean time they would write off the difference and I would only be responsible for what we had originally agreed on. That’s it, they just wrote it off. I didn’t have to remain on hold, call them then call insurance then call them again, yell or cry out of frustration. I was never told “there’s nothing we can do for you” which is what most offices, insurance providers, and people in general like to tell you. I was just given THE best customer service of my life, and also they were nice about it. That being said, the dental care is dope too, they remember your name and they ask you about your life, and I can’t say anough good things about this practice.

The staff at Dentistry of Old Town Scottsdale are incredibly friendly and extremely helpful. I have never felt as welcome in any business establishment as I do in Dr. Brittain’s office. Dr. Brittain not only does excellent dental work but he is fast and thorough. He explains everything beforehand so there are no surprises. I have been a customer for 1.5 yrs and I have never waited more than a couple minutes to be seen (even when I’m early). I have struggled with teeth sensitivity all my life. Previous dentists have promised results and their promises were always met with failure. While I’m not out of the woods yet, for the first time ever, I was able to handle the air in my mouth! I have been able to drink my first bottle of cold water and even eat food straight out of the frig! Dr. Brittain and his staff have been extremely patient and have gone above and beyond what any other dentist has tried. They did not give up on me! In addition, their billing has been wonderful. With other dentists, I would go through the coverage process, only to be met with a bill that I didn’t expect after the work was completed. This is not the case with Dr. Brittain’s office. They explain the costs up front and the only surprises I have received are credits when the insurance covered work that I anticipated paying for. Excellent service, excellent staff, excellent experiences. Dentistry of Old Town Scottsdale has my vote!

Wow what an incredible service!!! When I mean they were all great service I mean it!! Front desk were smiling, such great positive energy and funny conversations!! Haha all the staff greeted me when they saw me at any point!! Definitely huge thanks to Marrisa & Katie for taking really good care of me and my teeth!! Made me feel more comfortable then ever the whole time being in the chair! You two are phenomenal. I highly recommend going to Dentistry of Old Town Scottsdale and joining this family cause That’s what they are!! Better then just a team!!

This place is great!  I lived in Scottsdale for a brief period and was having some pain in my mouth, found this place on yelp and decided to go.  Went in for my first appt and was greeted by the receptionist (I think her name was Dallas) who was sweet and welcoming.  They brought me to the back and I was told I had 4 cavities.  My initial thought..ok you’re lying to me just like every other dentist I’ve been to.  Then the dr took this little pen type tool that was actually a camera and took pictures of my cavities and showed them to me on the tv that was set up in the room.  My thoughts then changed to…holy crap those holes in my teeth look nasty and I better get these fixed before all my teeth fall out.  So I scheduled an appt for the next morning to get my cavities filled.  I’m a huge baby and let them know this as I felt I was going to die from agony.  So I go in the next morning and they loaded me up with novacaine.  As soon as the dr started drilling, I flinched because I could still feel it.  He immediately stopped and told me that I shouldn’t be feeling any pain at all and that he would give me more.  I got abt 10 more shots and felt absolutely nothing.  Fantastic!  He kept asking if I was ok and if I wanted more.  Totally painless.  Granted I couldn’t even talk at all for abt 2 hrs after I left the office, but I would rather that than feeling any pain.  They also have a pretty cool referral program where you can get free dental work or an iPad.
