This is a great place! They have handled all the dental work for myself and my wife since we moved to SoCal, and handled it well! Everything from cleaning to crowns and implants, done professionally and efficiently…and at a very reasonable cost! I can’t recommend them enough – if you’re in the South Bay area, this should be your dentist!

I have an EXTREME fear of the dentist, and it took two days for me to get up the courage to call for an appointment. They fit me in, made me feel comfortable and took such amazing care of not just my dental needs but also my anxiety. The entire staff is amazing! Even with my fear, I am not afraid to return here to finish the work that was started. On top of all of the wonderful care, the technology and equipment in the office is amazing!

Omg let me start off by telling you I HATE the dentist. I haven’t gone for 14 years. From the second I walked into this office I received nothing but the best care. I was filling out the paperwork and Dr Kam came out and to meet me. Melissa took a ton of xrays of my teeth and was wearing her kid gloves because she knew I was nervous. Dr Kam explained the procedure and I was concerned about the cost and he sent in Jenny to explain the payment options and helped me to understand the procedure more. The music helped calm my nerves,but Dr Kam has the best bedside manner. He is awesome and I’m recommending him to everybody!!!! Thank you guys for the Best care.

I visited this office on 2/15/2018 after not having been to a dentist in over 5 years. The office was ultra modern with the latest technology including digital panoramic and full mouth x-rays, laser gum treatment equipment, and a digital CAD/CAM machine to make crowns while you wait. You have your own TV right in front of you on the dentist chair! They were playing ambient and contemporary music throughout the office at a reasonable volume. All the staff was well trained not only in their skills but in patient etiquette and protocol. I don’t think I’ve ever heard “thank you” so many times before in any other doctor’s office! I interacted with Mariah who makes the appointments, Jenny who is the office manager, Dr. Julia Li who was my dentist on this visit, Jasmine who was my dental hygienist, and two technicians whose names I didn’t get unfortunately. All were very skilled and professional. And something that’s more rare. All seemed really glad to be there and really glad to be helping you. I had a full deep cleaning with laser treatment that was relatively painless with just numbing gel. Of course, everyone’s pain tolerance is different. Now I will say that everyone in the office was very young so if you’re more comfortable with a more experienced staff, this may not be the place for you. I will also say that I have DeltaCare USA insurance which significantly reduced the fees, so I can’t speak to the cost of this office if you just walk in without insurance.

Top-notch care from supremely friendly people! Khary, the office manager, could not have been more helpful. She is very knowledgeable and understood my situation instantly… got paperwork set up… insurance sorted out… and appointments made easily and so logically. Such a rare thing to find such fantastic customer/patient service. *Full honesty, I did not not get any dental work done here. (Turns out my current dentist was okay with a change in my insurance policy, but what a find!) Happy to add my stars to the rest.

Do you have a Dentist Phobia? Then read this review! Let me start by sharing that I have a HUGE dentist phobia, which probably started when a dentist filled my first cavity without Novocain when I was about 10 or 11 Ever since then go 2x a year for cleanings but dread and freak out every minute I am in the chair. That all changed last week. I moved back to Redondo Beach after being away for 20+ years and found Dentists of South Bay. Based on the reviews I book an appoint since I was due for my cleaning. Wow was I surprised by both Dr To and her assistant Brian, what a team! Brian took x-rays and using the camera showed me the inside of my mouth! Dr To did the cleaning, efficiently and effectivly. No pain, no discomfort at all. Alas, my exam showed I needed a root canal and two crowns. After explaining all the options to me, I chose to have all three things done in one office visit. Dr To was great about explaining the process and worked with me so when I returned to the office I was relaxed and ready. Dr Nguyen is in the office 1x a month and only does root canals. With a calm and confidant manner, I was numbed in no time and about 40 minutes later, the root canal was done. Next, Dr To work on my crowns. At no time did I feel any pain and they even use the suction while drilling so I never smelled that awful smell when they drill. The was the BEST dental experience of life and believe me, I’ve had many many years of dental experiences. Dr To also worked with me for a long range plan that considered the best health for my team and with minimal out of pocket expenses. Want more? The front desk ladies are awesome, very friendly, and very helpful when scheduling and coordinating benefits. I rate Dr To and her team 5*s. I am now a patient for life!

I couldn’t even begin to tell you how incredible this place is, but let’s start with the people. I’ve never seen such professional and friendly staff. The oral surgeon I saw is an artist, I had a root canal and never even felt a bit of pain, including the shots before. The other staff is equally superb in their work. They really are a talented group. And friendly! And the location has easy parking next to Ralphs. The offices are clean, new, and even have their own cable tv’s for you to watch while you wait in the chair.

My dentist left his practice and I dreaded looking for a new dentist. My friend highly recommended this place, and after a few months, I finally went in. Dr. Tammy examined my teeth and informed me I needed a crown. I was hesitant to go forward with it due to my sensitive teeth, but she took time to explain why I needed it done, sooner rather than later. So I agreed. Wow, I was so impressed. The crown was painless and so easy. I felt very comfortable. My only regret is not finding Dr. Tammy earlier.

Looking for a Dentist and a PROFESSIONAL staff who cares, well stop in and experience this staff. It starts with Jenny and Khary their goal is to deliver an ultimate plan suitable to meet your needs. The GENTLEMAN who takes the X-rays he is highly experience in imaging and a perfectionist in delivering state of the art X rays. The pictures are so crystal clear and helpful in identifying what’s going on in your mouth. Their is another gentleman who handles root canals, OMG it was a unique experience, no pain and fast, 45min and done, other staff members they were great at keeping you calm and relax. Dr Joan To whose running the show is the most kindest human being walking the planet and who literally cares about her staff, people she and the community for which she serves. I had a root canal and two crowns done, and I am pleased. I hope those who enters into her realm would find this experience as pleasant as mine.
