Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Everyone from the receptionist, to the dentist assistant to Dr. Lee was kind, friendly and helpful. The staff members at the front desk make you feel right at home and treat my family like their own. Lyndie the hygenist is absolutely fantastic and does a heck of a deep cleaning!! My two children have been seeing Dr. Lee for the past two years. He was referred to us by a dear friend and wish we had seen him sooner. Long story, our children USE to visit a pediatric dentist on the west side. Each time we went for the appointment, we noticed the office was full of hygienists that did the cleaning, sealants etc. The dentist usually spends about two minutes (which I thought was odd) looking at my children’s teeth and moved onto another patient. We’ll, one needs to be wary when a hygienist is doing almost all of the work. My older child had invisalign and needed sealants on the molars that grew in. I asked several times if it would affect the trays when placing them back in the mouth. The answer given as “NO”. Upon completion and leaving the office, my child attempted to place the trays back in the mouth (after 1/2 hr) and it didn’t fit properly. I was extremely disappointed how irresponsible they were and called the office to complain. They told me to come back to the office to have the sealants removed. Not trusting that office anymore, I called my dear friend who happened to be an orthodontist and he referred me to Dr. Lee. First, the office of Dr. Lee is very professional. Each time we make an appointment and go to the office, there is never a problem. Dr. Lee spends his time with my children doing the check-up and sealants. When he completes the check-up, his hygienist does the cleaning. Dr. Lee gives an update (if needed) on the teeth (ie, molars,) and will communicate with my orthodontist if needed. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and we feel so fortunate to have met him. Btw, Dr. Lee removed the sealants from my older child without any issues and was able to place the trays back in the mouth. It took some time but Dr. Lee was precise and did it right. It was comforting to know that he took care of my child and knew what he was doing! We live in NJ and commute into NYC or Scarsdale to see Dr. Lee When you find a doctor that you can trust, it is worth commuting because you know you will be taken care of properly. Also, if you work in Manhattan, it is so convenient to make an appointment (Tues or Thu) during your lunch hour or whenever it works best for you.

The Scarsdale office is great! I have been to many dentist offices & i’m sticking with this one!!!!! Its not like other offices where they schedule you an appointment at a certain time and you’re waiting 40 minutes to be seen! You are always in and out & my teeth are in good hands!! The staff is great! Tia is one of the girls they have working in the office and shes great. She always keeps me posted on appointments & makes it a pleasurable visit.

Dr. Lee is the best dentist I’ve ever had, by far. I’ve been using him for over five years now. He does great work; he even performed a completely painless root canal on me. I’m no dentist, but I can just tell that he does top-notch work in comparison to my past dentists. He is friendly and approachable– you’ll feel comfortable around him. I would also like to note how much the rest of the staff contributes to my overall rating. They are awesome. Maria at the front desk is really sweet and friendly, and is very good at explaining insurance coverages, out of pocket costs, and billing. The girls at the front desk always answer my emails promptly, plus they send out appointment reminder emails ahead of time, which is great. And Dr. Lee’s dental assistant Miriam is also wonderful and super-nice. ALSO: as of 11-Apr-2014 they just moved to 18 East 50th Street (btw 5th & Madison).

I went to Dr. Lee on the recommendation of my orthodontist. He was really nice, explained everything thoroughly and had plesant hygenists. After my first visit, I was next seen by Dr. Bhasin, who was a super sweet dentist, and I actually enjoyed seeing her more than Dr. Lee! They have a very convenient location (around the corner from Grand Central) and a clean, well maintained office. I highly recommend Diamond Dental for being friendly and thorough – they really do a great job.

Bring your family to Diamond Dental! Dr Lee and his staff at Diamond Dental in Scarsdale and Manhattan are the best dental team in the tri-state area. From the secretaries, to front office staff and dental hygienists, it is truly a remarkable team. Dr Lee thoroughly explains all procedures and options for dental work. All dental work is expertly performed (Root canals, crowns, fillings etc.) and setting up appointments is a breeze. Dr Lee is an honest man of integrity with a common sense approach to dentistry. Some dentists try and push services and procedures for profit, not Dr Lee. Dr Lee only performs required dental work. He advises on potential developing dental issues that will be monitored over future appointments. Also, the staff seamlessly process all insurance stuff which is awesome.a

A dentist and dental team that really care! My family and I have been patients of Dr. Lee for over 10 years. I typically visit the Manhattan office and the family goes to the Westchester office. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Lee and Diamond Dental. First, Dr. Lee always explains what he is doing and why. Second, his appointments are ALWAYS on time. He does not jam clients in. Growing up one of the things I hated about the dentist is waiting and waiting and waiting to be seen. That does not happen with Dr. Lee. Third, I have had al lot of work done on my teeth and Dr. Lee has always been able to keep it relatively pain free – especially the shots to get your mouth numb. Growing up I always had pain where the shot was given after the numbness wore out. Not so with Dr. Lee. Fourth, he really cares about his patients and the work he does. He even makes follow-up calls to patients to see how they are doing. And he makes himself personally available over the phone – even when he is on vacation!!! What dentist does that. Plus he and is staff are always friendly and approachable and they are especially good with young children. Finally, Dr. Lee is never looking to do more work than necessary. You just cannot go wrong with Dr. Lee and Diamond Dental.

Dr. Lee is by far the BEST dentist I have ever had. He works with me, I don’t feel pressured when it comes to time and procedures. I have been going to him almost 4 years and I have NO complaints!! I literally drive my daughter 1 hour away to the Scarsdale office (where the atmosphere caters to children by adding a playroom) because she was always afraid of the dentist until she started seeing Dr. Lee and his staff. My first experience with Dr.Lee was amazing .i had severe trauma to my gum behind my molars , it hurt and it was super uncomfortable so of course i was terrified at first. They took care of me so well, they were patient and helped me calm down. They even let me hold my moms hand ! And im a grown woman. Even though i was being injected with a massive needle, well i thought it was lol but it was not done roughly. In the end, they made sure i was well enough to leave. I am so happy I found Dr.lee before him I was seeing a dentist that didn’t inspire me any confidence, but at the time I figured I’ll go to a dentist closer to me and insurance was also another issue.however after coming to Dr. Lee and receiving quality care I don’t mind the commute and to my surprise not pricey at all! 🙂 .. Dr. Lee is great. He’s thoughtful, friendly, and approachable. His offices (I’ve been to both their NYC location as well as their Scarsdale one) and it’s amazing how tech they are. When you get your x-rays, it pops up a few seconds later onto a computer screen and Dr. Lee explains everything so thoroughly. I had a 10:15am appt but I got there 10 minutes early and he still saw me right away. I was out of there by 10:45am yet never felt rushed. I would highly recommend…! In the past, I always feared a cleaning b/c well, I feel like most dentists/dental hygienists rip your gums apart and I end up leaving with bloody gums. They are super gentle and thorough. It wasn’t painful at all. I also feel most dentists are super rushed or there are ridiculous waits… and Dr Lee wasn’t that way at all. I no longer dread going to see the dentist…! It’s refreshing to finally find a solid dentist that I can depend on..!

We’ve been to countless dentists in New York and California and are sick of finding a dentist who stinks. We abhor dentists who screw up, who don’t care about us as patients and who try to sell us services or scare us about our dental health. I have never met a dentist I did like. …well, that was until I met Dr. George Lee at Diamond Dental / Grand Central Dental. Dr. George – as I call him – is excellent at his craft. He is careful, meticulous, educated, fun, and friendly. Rarely would I use these adjectives to describe a dentist! Dr. George has offices in the Graybar Building (at Grand Central Station) and Scarsdale, NY. His staff is friendly. And for someone who has trouble remembering dates, I really enjoy the phone reminder that his staff leaves on your machine regarding an upcoming appointment. Finally, let me back up the adjectives I use to describe Dr. George: CAREFUL – Wow, no pain!! I like that! METICULOUS – Detail oriented. Dr. George also likes to talk about the mechanics of dentistry (if you dare to ask) EDUCATED – Ivy League graduate with an engineering background. FUN – I enjoy my conversations with Dr. George. But honestly, he’s doing most of the talking. FRIENDLY – He is the type of dentist who you’d like to have as a friend… if only he wasn’t a dentist! Kudos to Dr. George and his staff!

Dr. Lee is an established dentist that aims to bring the latest dental advancements to his patients. He received his degree in Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Columbia University School of Dental & Oral Surgery. His further training includes an Implantology Fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, residency at Hackensack University Medical Center, and Brookdale University Hospital, an affiliate of New York University. Prior to Columbia, Dr. Lee earned his degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University. Dr. Lee was the recipient of multiple honors including Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi. Dr. Lee has lectured and presented at conferences on the fundamentals and the latest advancements in dentistry. Dr. Lee is licensed in the states of New York and New Jersey.
