What a beautifully furnished comfortable professional and all around high class dental office. Very gentle and easy to work with a difficult patient. Dr. Villasenor and staff went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and help with a complex situation. I look forward to District Dental being my dental office of choice so conveniently located in the Heights. Have no fear.  Prices are not my primary concern but theirs are more than fair.

TLDR: Run, don’t walk, to this dentist. I love, love, love my dentist and his staff. As someone who has had extreme dental anxiety to the point that I used to need sedation dentistry, this is obviously saying a lot. I was already in the process of getting over it when I switched to Dr. V. Because I trust him so fully from great experience after great experience, I no longer need to take prescription anti-anxiety medication before I go. He is kind and really cares about his patients. He does excellent and gentle work. He really tries to charge you fairly and even worked extensively with my insurance to get as much covered as possible. I need to give an additional shout out to Sabrina, the dental hygienist I saw today. She also really cares and pointed out some things to me about my dental care that I know will really make a difference since I have some special circumstances stemming from bad genetics. I have had bonding that another dentist did 20 years ago due to ultra-white staining on my teeth. I had Dr. V redo it two years ago, and I know it was a huge challenge to color match my teeth and cover those stains again. He was meticulous about making it look like I hadn’t had work done and covering the staining. I also had whitening done on the parts of my teeth that were not bonded before he did the actual bonding replacement. Today when I went in for my normal cleaning, I asked about freshening up my whitening because I love red wine and coffee. I am getting married at the end of November, and I wanted my teeth to look my best for the pictures. They took care of me today without an additional appointment. No one ever tries to push anything on me that I don’t need or want. They didn’t push me on veneers that were out of my price range, although I am saving up for them because they look so good. I have seen Dr. V’s work on veneers, and it is amazing. I really cannot say enough good things about Dr. V and his practice. Your vibe attracts your tribe, and his tribe is awesome. He is a good man.

My husband has been going to district dental for awhile and convinced me that they’re the best. I hate to say it but he is totally right! This was by far the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Its totally weird and I’m still kind of shocked that I had a “fun” check up, but it’s true! In my previous experience, most dentist or hygienist never walk me through each plan and I end up leaving the office thinking what just happened and felt a little invaded. I always feel like I have to ask questions on what they’re doing to me. That wasn’t my typical experience today at District Dental. Sabrina, the dental hygienist, made me feel super comfortable and she had amazing bed side manner. I felt like I was talking/hanging out with a friend while getting a throughout oral clean. She talked me through everything, making sure I was comfortable and always seeking my feedback. If you’re looking for high quality dental care, I seriously suggest you go to District Dental.

I went there last week and this place is perfect. I really liked the office and staff, they were very nice and inviting, everything seemed so new and clean and it just put me at ease about the entire cleaning/checkup. Its so convenient and I was in and out very quickly. I’m definitely going back here for my next checkup and would definitely recommend it.

I love this place! The hygenists are so nice and remember you even though they see a million patients and go 6 months in between visits. My husband and I come in together and they couldn’t be more accommodating. My cleanings are always fast but thorough and the doctor always comes in to check up. Thankfully, I don’t have any issues with my teeth, so I can’t speak to how they handle surgeries, etc.

First cleaning after 5+ years. Chose place based on these reviews which did not disappoint. The process to book, sign-in, and fill out e-paperwork was efficient and easy. The hygienist, Sabrina, was fantastic! She was very informative and thorough during the cleaning. Dr. Villasenor effectively informed me of options to repair teeth. Nothing painful or negative about my experience, even after so long away from the dentist. I recommend this office!

Like most people, I tend to hate going to the dentist. However, that is definitely not the case here. District Dental has an amazing staff who are extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. Dr V. has shown himself to be very professional and knowledgeable. And Sabrina and Kelly are the absolute best Hygienists! I highly recommend this Dental Office!

Awesome visit to the dentist. It is located next to my favorite restaurant, D’ Amicos in the Heights.  The office is clean, modern and doesn’t feel or look like a dentist office. I’m normally scared to go to the dentist, but the Dr. V and the staff made me feel very comfortable.  All my treatment was explained thoroughly and checking in and out was a breeze.  And to top it off, I got whitening trays for free.  I have found my new dentist in Houston.
