I usually hate going to the dentist but the moment I walked into the office I was impressed with the decor and loved how open it is. Dr. K and staff were super nice and knowledgeable. They explained everything in detail and showed me pictures of my teeth. Oh, and I watched Netflix while they worked on me. I am glad I finally found a dental office I like

Dr K and his team at District Dentistry really impress!! It had been longer than I would like to admit since I had gone to the dentist, so needless to say I was a little on edge about making an appointment. Right from the beginning his front desk staff and his dental assistants made me feel comfortable and right at home. My examination and cleaning was thorough and comfortable and all findings were well explained. Dr. K did an amazing job and you can tell he is very passionate about bringing the best for his patients. I’m so glad that I didn’t wait any longer to schedule and appointment and that I found District Dentistry!

I absolutely love this place. The administrative assistant, dental hygienist, and the dentist are all so welcoming, professional and they have personality. I have had a fear of the dentist for a while and they completely put me at ease, checking in with me multiple times throughout the procedure. They have taken noticeable safety precautions which is always a relief. And they’ve taken the extra step to provide total relaxation for their clients—TVs above the comfortable chairs, glasses to protect against water droplets, even chapstick! My husband and I will definitely continue seeing them for regular visits.

Dr. K is a great doctor been his patient for 2 years now. So happy he opened in Uptown Charlotte since it’s always better than driving to his swcond practice in Monroe. Excitingly starting my invisalign now cant wait for the best result. Highly recommend for his best experience and goes deeply step by step with everyone. His front desk are always welcoming and smiling at both practices and assistance are always trying to work with me for the best. I’ve never been one to get particularly excited about going to the dentist but the staff at district dentistry make it easy to feel calm cool and collected. The staff is warm, welcoming and very helpful. They truly care about educating their patients, not just treating them. Did I mention the immaculate office?! It is situated with an incredible view of uptown and Bank of America stadium and they have TV’s on the ceiling to help you feel more at home during your treatment. 10/10 recommend checking them out – you won’t regret it!

Dr. K is a great dentist and makes an effort to explain all of the procedures to you and is not looking to make money off you. He will try to do the work that your teeth require but not more. Love District Dentistry. The staff is exceedingly courteous, helpful and efficient. Dr. K is an excellent dentist who really knows his profession. He is courteous, kind, understanding and thoughtful. I have had two crowns done and am now in the process of having a bridge done, my four upper front teeth. I had the bridge done two times before by two other dentists and was very disappointed. When I told Dr. K my concerns, he truly listen and explained exactly what he would do to make it look much better. I’m excited to have him do it. If anybody wants a good dentist you won’t be disappointed at district dentistry

Dr. Mjahed is very personable and looks at his clients individually. He doesn’t ridicule about poor dental care but educates on the proper ways to care for your teeth and helps sets a plan to best fit your needs. I was a bit early but was taken in within a few minutes Everyone in this office treats their clients as if they are the only client.. I had a cleaning, some cavities filled, and started Invisalign treatment within the past few weeks. After being at Pearl before and being charged way too much money, I decided to check out District. Not only were they more affordable through my insurance, they still had the amenities [Netflix on the ceiling, fridge in the lobby, etc.] and a very kind & helpful staff. Dr. Mjahed was more direct with me and answered any and all questions I had, as well as remembering details from the last time I was at the office. I almost turned around when I first walked through the door ! The place was beautiful , too beautiful for a dentist office . That was a joke, I was impressed with the style ; modern, chic, classy , very upper echelon . The staff was very professional and they all had beautiful smiles. On my second visit we had a slight issue when they ran 30 minutes late for my appointment. I’m pretty easy going so I wasn’t going to mention it although It made me feel a little anxious. At the end of my visit Dr. K presented me a gift card for the wait . I was more relieved and satisfied with them just acknowledging they were running a little behind. In regards to the treatment Dr.K was very easy and gentle with the procedures , they also allowed me to give signals when and if I felt any discomfort from the procedures (there was little to no discomfort for me) So I will say that I love this dentist and I would recommend it to others.

District Dentistry is amazing, this very well may be the only dentist you are excited to go back to see. The staff is extremely welcoming and pleasant. Khalil the dentist is fantastic, I got some work done and didn’t even feel a thing including the shot! The technology at this place is top notch with a TV set above you while getting work done to watch your favorite Netflix. I would recommend District Dentistry 10 out 10 times.
A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Khalil Mjahed, DDS, FICOI achieved a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2013 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry where he became a member of the Delta Sigma Delta Honor Society. During this time Dr. Mjahed developed a passion for giving back to the community, both locally and globally. He regularly provides free dental examinations and treatments at Mission of Mercy clinics across North Carolina. Dr. Mjahed also had the honor of providing free dental care and education to HIV/AIDS patients and impoverished youth on a mission trip to the African country of Malawi. Dr. Mjahed is a firm believer in using and integrating the best and latest technologies in his dental treatments. He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and a Fellow at the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He takes more than eighty hours of continuing education classes each year to perform the best possible dental treatments for his patients. Dr. Mjahed has been proud to call North Carolina his home since 2001, when he emigrated from Lebanon. He enjoys trips to the mountains, spending his free time on Lake Norman, as well as participating in local festivals and charity events. He can frequently be found cooking, exercising outdoors, or indulging in his hobbies of photography and hiking.
