After not going to a dentist in years my teeth were overdue for a cleaning. Their hygienist made sure she didn’t miss a spot and she didn’t slice and dice my gums along the way like some other places I’ve been. Dr. Kim was also very friendly and made me more comfortable than other dentists. I went back to get teeth pulled and even that wasn’t too bad there. I’ve had teeth pulled before, but those dentists always slipped with their tools causing pain. Dr. Kim was very professional and didn’t seem to hate life which can be hard to find in a dentist. I mean, I understand why they’re bitter. They’re barely doctors amirite? Also they have cool doggy butt coat hangers and a boquet of dum dum suckers. Will go back in the future. Exterior could use some work, but theres no complains about the inside.

The team at Division Smiles treats you like family, they’re so caring & friendly! I recently had a bad fall & I’m recovering from a facial trauma in which I put my upper front teeth through my bottom lip. A few days later, I started having severe pain in my front tooth, then it turned pink & began to die. I spent almost 3 hours on the phone trying to find someone to see me! Dr. Kim, is my daughter’s dentist. She absolutely adores him & his staff! I called their office to see if they could help. They were able to get me in & do a root canal the next day! I needed to switch my plan, but was able to do so very easily. It covered most of the work I had done by him & the Endodontist they sent me to for some other things. I even had to call back yesterday afternoon because I’m still having pain. Once again they got me in right away, made me an appointment for today, a SATURDAY morning! I didn’t have to stay in terrible pain, unable to eat & sleep! He ran some tests & instead of doing unnecessary work, just to make money.(believe me there are many dentists who would do that) he’s sending me to a Specialist to get checked out. I really appreciate that because I don’t want to lose anything I don’t need to. Also, I want to make sure that we are taking care of this pain in the best way possible. Tooth pain is NO fun!! It’s great to know there are people who still really care about their patients! Dr Kim & his staff ARE those people! I highly recommend Division Smiles!

First, I have to say like many, I hate dealing with dentistry. It has been 5 plus years since my last appt. I had never been to this dentist before. Had a toothache area pain for many days but was clearly getting worse. Did not sleep last 2 nights and was obvious it wasn’t something minor. Looked around for local dentist who were available asap. They took me in ASAP. Needed 2 root canals; They took care of it in a highly professional and skilled manner on the same visit. Really wasn’t uncomfortable to go through and feel so much better tonight. David is very professional and communicates the prognosis/diagnosis clearly w/o pressure. Staff was excellent; also worked with my Regence insurance. Key is that care, communications, transparency and quality was high. Bruce 4/5/17.

This place has been awesome. Both Dr. Kim’s, David and Michael were kind, comforting, and gentle with their work. They will go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. The hygienists, Erin and Diane are awesome and very thorough with their cleaning. I broke one of molars a few months back and was in agonizing pain. After trying to reach out to multiple dentists including my previous, no one was available but Dr. Michael Kim was able to get me in the next morning and removed my broken tooth easily and pain-free! Ever since then, Division Smiles has become my new dental office. I cannot say enough great things about the staff here. Everyone from the front desk to the assistants were so warm and friendly and were very helpful with all of my questions. It’s a very tight-knit, family environment here. Everyone here will make you feel welcomed.

I think by far he is the best dentist I have ever been too and I have went to a few, in St.John’s, pearl district and portland area. Most of them try to push things on you and their prices are too high and expensive it feels like all they want is your money. But with Dr. Kim I felt comfortable and at ease he’s very professional and easy going which made my visit pleasant and he will be my dentist for as long as he can keep me as a client. Thank you Dr. Kim and staff for being so awesome.

I was not to sure about the apeal of the office. When I first walked in the front greeted me right away and very friendly the Dr. and staff was efficient with getting every thing done and telling me about a detailed plan which is why I came in. My first impression was exactly what I wanted.

My son has been going here for the past year he has no signs of dental anxiety super excited to come and they are always great with him… The staff is amazing they have great hours and are happy to work with our odd schedule. The Dr. is super nice as well.

It doesn’t get any better, and I’m a tough cookie when it comes to dentists. I couldn’t have been happier, and am so grateful for the wonderful care and services provided by my friends at Division Smiles. They totally lived up to their name. And I know my wife feels the same. … A happy customer.

Great experience. Dr. Kim and staff were helpful and professional. All the processes from scheduling an appointment to getting the treatment was smooth and effectively done; Dr. Kim made an effort to hearing & addressing my questions. It was my first visit, and I am highly considering Dr. Kim my dentist I would regularly see in the future.

One of the better experiences I’ve had at a dentist office. Staff is very friendly and Dr. Kim is one of the most experienced dentists I’ve seen. Have had countless post appointment issues at previous dentists but so far after 4 dental work visits, including a wisdom tooth extraction, I’ve yet to run into a single problem. Highly recommended, especially for people who have had previously bad experiences at other dentists. You’ll get proper work done here without them trying to sell you anything extra, which is another plus.
