Dr. Omid is an amazing doctor that explained everything Thoroughly, he even drew a picture of what he is going to do and how the teeth is going to look like. His staff was knowledgeable and nice .He was extremely friendly and the staff that works here are very nice. This is the first time that I came to this dentist office by a friend recommendation and it turned out that it is my favorite dentist office to go to. He set up a plan explained everything thoroughly to me and made me feel so welcome and he’s wasn’t like other doctors that rush you in and out and do a Mickey Mouse job. I have been to this practice 4 times already to treat a series of infections. The doctor which I am seeing is very nice, always explains to me what they are doing, how it’s going to feel and what can I expect. The doctor discusses various treatments and how I should follow up at home and makes sure I am happy with the approach. Staff are extremely punctual, I never had to wait and only once my appointment overrun due to unforeseen circumstances (and the doctor finished the treatment rather than just send me away because time was up). I really feel taken care of and very well looked after. Staff at the reception are really helpful and always tried to find early appointments for me so that I wouldn’t miss a day’s work. Great customer care and very transparent and (very important!) with no surprises with the costs (hard to find a dentist like this!)

I had a great experience here ! I’m so glad I found this place. I was able to book an appointment the same week I called, despite being one of the busiest times of year. Everyone in the office is extremely helpful and sweet. The cleaning which is the part I normally dread – was quick and efficient, done by the dentist himself. They are very thorough with x rays. The dentist offered a treatment for tooth sensitivity that I had never heard of or been offered anywhere, which the receptionist immediately confirmed my insurance covered. Dr Barkhordar took time to explain and answer questions again despite having many patients at that time. They even offered a sample bag of toothpaste, brush and mouthwash. I’ll definitely keep coming and recommend them highly!

My family has been using this dental office for over a year and we have been very happy with the office and the dentists. I feel like I need to write a review after yesterday, however, as their service was exceptional. My son lost half of his front tooth in a hockey accident three years ago and our dentist at the time was able to reattach it. Lately, the tooth has been bothering my son, and yesterday after school he said that the pain was really bad, so we went to the dentist’s office despite not having an appointment. The office made time to see my son and determined that he needed a root canal and a veneer. They were able to complete the work around their other patients and the dentist stayed until 7:00 pm to finish the procedure. My son woke up pain free and I am so grateful the effort of the whole staff. I would highly recommend El Segundo Modern Dentistry.

This place is the best dental office to get treated at!!!! hands down the best staff anyone can meet, from the front with the Receptionist and The assistant manager they greet you like no other!! To the Assistants in the back. They explain everything they are doing in detail from x-rays to actual treatment. The doctors are the greatest in this establishment! they truly care for patient care and don’t overwhelm you with a bunch of bogus treatment. I’m like an adult baby at the dentist bc it is really traumatizing to me. I was scared that they were going to run out of patience and was dreading the outcome lol. So if you are an adult crybaby you can feel safe here. The other staff is pretty patient and nice too. I’m not sure how because it seems like a complicated job and there’s NO way I could be that patient. So really any of the staff members are very nice but James was extra nice and didn’t hurt me. One of my teeth hurt and he was nice enough not to insist on putting the bracket on that tooth and gave me time to get it checked up. When I went back to get the bracket put on I thought I was going to leave crying and I didn’t. I was so happy. I came home and showed my mom and she likes them so far and my best friend too. So I’m happy. Yay

I highly recommend this dental office. They give you the best rates and are honest with the services you actually need. The staff is always friendly and polite. They go above and beyond to show my child how to floss properly every visit. Most of the time teens with braces don’t listen and their assistant Nancy is constantly giving helpful tips to my son. Never have I enjoyed my time at the dentist, until this day. Like most people I always neglect going until I’m stricken with pain and I crawl in the door in pain and full of fear. As I crawled in the doors today I was greeted with a warm voice and treated with such care. I called when they opened after waking up before the sun with pain shooting down my neck. They found me a time and saw me within an hour of my phone call. Previously I had a wisdom tooth pulled and it was a horrible experience so I was hoping for a different way to deal with my remaining wisdom tooth. Dr. Omid assured me it was the best plan of action and it would not be bad. I skeptically agreed to the extraction procedure. His gentle demeanor had me at ease and after a couple shots and then about 45 seconds with his hands in my mouth I heard a small pop and he checked in with me to see how I was. And he smiled and said it was done. I couldn’t believe it. I don’t see my family and I going to any other place.
