We have all heard the saying; ‘You get what you pay for’. I have been to see Dr. Negar Eslami four times over the last three months to have some ‘catch up’ work done and can honestly say that I am more impressed with the level of professionalism at this practice than any other I have attended in my life. I’m 41 years old. ‘Hilary’ is who’s friendly voice you will hear when you call in to set up your appointment. She will also be the person who calls you a couple of days prior to your appointment, and if you don’t pick up, (like me), she will send you a friendly email to remind you, and to confirm all is well. She’ll probably call you again on the day, just in case. What I like most of all however is the ‘service’. Over the three times I have visited Dr. Eslami, I have probably spent a total of 5-8 minutes in the ‘waiting’ room. Five of those were because I had to finish a business phone call. You walk in, they’re ready, and they know who you are. I felt like the whole place stopped just to welcome me. Up until my first visit, I had NEVER experienced painless dentistry. I had always dreaded going, and my teeth used to reflect that. Dr. Eslami has transformed my old cracked metal filled teeth into brand new looking ‘film star’ quality choppers…and to this day, PAINLESSLY. I recommend Downtown Dental Design 100% Go!

This is the most beautiful, brand new, modern and updated dental office I have ever seen. It puts all the 80’s (or worse, 60’s) style dental offices to shame.  I went for the first time for a routine cleaning, at the recommendation of a friend, and did not experience any service issues. Everyone is very friendly, the dentist included. I’m sorry some people had bad experiences but I give it 5 stars based on my first visit. It is very hard to find a good dentist with a professional approach. I only have had the very best of impressions here, so far so good. Most impressive of all, I scrutinized the dental instruments and they were brand new and sparkling clean. Amazing. There isn’t even a speck of dust on the overhead lamps. UPDATE: four years later, I still give it 5 stars. I especially appreciate that they never upsell you on services you do not need, unlike some dishonest dentists I’ve had in the past.

I live in Southern California and travel to Austin for business frequently. My 2009 New Year resolution was fixing my teeth and getting the “Hollywood teeth” I always wanted. Having spoken to dentists from San Diego to LA to Austin, Dr. Eslami was the only doctor who was confident enough to give me what I wanted. She was also the only doctors who “I” felt comfortable working on my teeth (I have dental phobia). It is very important to me that my doctors take their time in understanding what I am looking for and explaining every step and detail of the procedure; Dr. Eslami undoubtedly fitted in that category. After 5 sessions, I look like a new man. She has worked a miracle and has done a wonderful job with my teeth (fillings, crowns, veneers, etc.) I recommend her 100%. Plus, she has an amazing office, right off the freeway (Mopac and 6th St.), with the latest technologies such as massaging chairs and TVs in each room.

I’ve been a patient here for several years. Even when I lived across town, I would not consider switching dentists. The good ones are hard to find and after one bad experience with another Austin dentist, it is not a risk I’m willing to take again. Everyone at Downtown Dental is friendly. I feel like I’m going to visit old friends the 2X a year I visit. The music is great and calming. The chairs that patients sit in massage you while you have your teeth cleaned. You get a goodie bag with floss, a toothbrush every time you leave. I love it and you will too!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Elslami’s since 2006 when she shared an office in Hartland Plaza. At first, I felt sorry for her because she had a minimal files on the shelf compared to the other dentist. However, over the years her attention to detail, quality of care, and great personality have made her an easy referral for numerous friends. Obviously, this is a common sentiment as she has her own office and is a rock star. Look no further!

Had a super good experience here and would highly recommend Dr. Eslami to anyone. She’s a really nice person, very professional, offers a 10% discount to people like me that don’t have dental coverage, and has a great staff who all seem to get along great. Most importantly, after a filling I needed my bite adjusted a week later because it felt a tiny bit off and she quickly, happily reshaped it for me in 3 minutes. I strongly recommend this office, let’s keep supporting our great local health practitioners who treat their patients with dignity, fairness, and professionalism. You don’t need to worry about being overdiagnosed and overtreated here – at no point did I feel like my teeth were being treated like a gold mine!

I have been going to Dr. Negar for several years. Not only is she very personable but her staff offers the best customer service a person could ask for. Hillary, the front office manager always remembers my name and makes me feel like one of the family when I am there. My teeth have never looked better and I hope to be able to stay with Dr. Negar for many years to come
