I went in yesterday to start my treatment I had my appointment at 10 am I had just gotten there on the dot. So I’m at the front desk, I grab a pen from the front so I can check in and unfortunately the pen that I happened to grab didn’t work. I would normally would say something  but since I had gotten there right at 10 , I put it back and grabbed another one. I wasn’t expecting the receptionist who was sitting on the left side desk to say to me “do you remember what pen wasn’t working.?” I told her “no sorry” so she proceeded to make a BIG SIGH and said forget it. But the way she came off was extremely rude and irritated. So then she tells me I have a co pay which I already knew about and I wanted to put on my care credit card and the amount was less then $100 , so again in a very rude and aggressive manner she responds to me ” well I don’t think we can process that card if the amount is less the $100.” So I told her are you serious? I just got a call yesterday from a rep that went over my treatment plan and established that my care CC was going to be the method of payment I was going to use. She rolled her eyes at me and stood up and said “well I don’t know who you spoke with but  I don’t think we can take it. And I said but its a credit card why wouldn’t you take it?so I felt like she was trying to argue with me so she told me to hang on so she can go double check if I could you my credit card.
This was within minutes and honestly I didn’t want to deal with her anymore. So she comes back and says yes I can use my card. So at this point I’m so irritated by her and I told her i want to be helped by some else. There was another younger girl who was sitting in the front on the right side of the desk and I said I want her to help me. So this girl had the nerve to tell me “well she’s new she doesn’t know how to process payments. ” and I just thought to myself wow you’re really going to belittle your coworker like that in front of me, she was doing something at the time the young girl was so nice and sweet so it just made me feel uncomfortable for her to say that to me , being a patient.She basically was the reason I kept my cool with this girl because I knew i was eventually going to speak with her for my next phase I’m my treatment and I didn’t want to disrespect the practice like that. Its just unfortunate that yesterday i had to deal with her because everyone one else from the new receptionist to my  both of my hygienist , Dr. Ibbara and his assistant and of course Nara were so wonderful , helpful and caring. Its just unfortunate that my first few minutes there were not as pleasant as the rest of the 2 hours I was there for my cleaning and treatment. I will continue to finish my treatment at Dr.Zak’s office because I know will be taken care of. But I hope this girl for future reference can leave all her troubles and attitude at the door the next time I go in, I understand we’re all human and we go though things but when you’re in the position of the first point of contact for the establishment you need to learn to leave all personal issues at the door and ready to care and serve anyone who walks though the door regardless of who it is the mailman or a patient. I could of easily canceled my treatment and walked out the door and taken my business elsewhere just based of that, but I didn’t because I had established  repore from the previous visit so I felt safe with back office team because I do have a dental anxiety and I didn’t want to start over. Its just really bothered me that this girls level of professionalism wasn’t that great for being in that position. But I really must thank everyone who I mentioned except this girl who i didn’t even bother to get her name because i was hesitant to ask because i just didn’t want to argue with her so early in the morning. Its been only phase one and I’m happy with my results so far!! And especially Nara because I can tell she so passionate about helping others not just because its her job!!! Thank you!!

This is long overdue but has to say this place is amazing!  I’m grateful for your continued care, professionalism and excellent customer service I always receive whenever I’m in your office. I’ve been a long time recipient of your services when Dr. Grant was the owner and continue to receive excellent care under Dr. Zak’s leadership and his Team.

I’ve been coming here for about 4 years now. The office is very clean, professional, and punctual. The entire staff is also very friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in the door! Not to mention, Berna and Freddie always make sure to accommodate any needs I may have — financial or personal, during my visit. I will always recommend Dr. Zak’s office to any of my friends and family for top quality care!

Excuse me, excuse me, this is my favorite Dental office from Dr Grant to Dr Zak, I have healthy Gums and no cavity at all. It is so important to visit your Dentist regularly and it will helps you to avoid headache, and plus they have Professional answering staff now.  I am a happy patient of Dr Zak and for me this Dental is Outstanding, Excellent and Five stars. Special thanks to Kristal and Jeniffer and Dr Rossi. We love you Dr Zak and Sonya.

A visit at Dr Zaks dental is always a pleasure! Awesome customer service and makes going to the dentist very comfortable. Freddie at the front desk always makes me feel at home and remembers me every time I come in. Berna was a big help in helping me choose my treatment plan and her expertise in this field made my choice easy. Also, Dr Zaks dentist is very flexible in making appointments which is a big plus!

The team at the Long Beach office is great! They have ample parking (super important) and the office is very clean with great artwork. I’ve had some old fillings replaced and it was completely painless and quick. The hygienists are very friendly and accommodating. Friendly staff and they’re great with scheduling and answering questions. Will definitely continue coming here for all of my dental work!!!

called on an emergency basis because my bridge broke. They fitted me in and we’re ABSOLUTELY PROFESSIONAL, BUT FAMILY LIKE in their easy manner. Me (with my dental phobic lil tushie), was comfortable with the entire time in the office. EVERYONE there was accommodating and friendly. I have scheduled the BALANCE of my dental work…I’ve found my DENTAL HOME!!!!!! KUDOS!!!! Thanks to Angie, Jerilee and Tabitha excellent staff

Great place & staff! I came here after searching for a local dental place with good reviews around my area & Dr Zak office came up after not being to the dentist for the past 6 years I was little nervous but when I walked in Mitch helped me get set up with them she told me that everything would be okay & gave me minimal payment plan to save some money I’ve been to there office twice & both times have been great experiences with the staff I totally recommend this place.

I had been going to the previous doctor at this location for years.  When Dr. Zak took over I wasn’t sure if I was going to have to find another dentist.  I have been very satisfied with Dr. Zak’s office and staff.  Their dentists explain the problems they encounter with my teeth and give me time to think about my decision whether to go forward with a procedure.  Mitchie is a great receptionist.  She is very friendly and professional.  I occasionally have to wait but not an inordinate amount of time.  They also have extended their office hours for those people that work.  For me, it’s been a good experience going to Dr. Zak’s office.

Dr. Zak is amazing. Tabitha and the entire staff is always so helpful and attentive. From the reception at the front desk to then dental tech and doctors, they are professional and always greet you with a smile.  They take their time demonstrating and explaining your dental needs and always make you feel comfortable. Talitha and Fredy are the absolute best. They actual make going to the dentist a pleasant experience! If you want a dentist office that is attentive, caring, professional and knows how to communicate with their clients, Dr. Zak’s office is the dentist for you.

Thank you for your personable and professional service. The service that I have received included a thorough evaluation and program set up including pricing and even credit evaluation working with my insurance. The staff is great and they go the extra mile with a smile. My father was a patient with Dr Grant and was referred to Dr Zak on Grant’s retirement.
